I'd love to hear what is in store with this "shell". I've been holding shares for a couple of years, with no communication or feedback from either the company or transfer agent. I think that my shares become unrestricted next month, but with this turn in events, who knows. I'll just keep my fingers crossed and ears to the ground
Hope you are right. There's been some activity with this company/stock recently. A lot of things in the "hopper" but nothing has come to light just yet for this firm. I'm holding long and strong. I even use a number of their products. Good people on the inside.
College Football Fans Unite! Since Q is in the cesspool....
Look for the Trojans to be a bit "down" this year with question marks at both QB and RB. 9-10 wins may be the max this year; lot's of strong recruiting over the years, but lost too much experience in the draft.
Quintriple "Groan", uwlungman. Been holding shares in QBID for 2yrs. now. Only hope is that one day someone will buy the "shell" with another business type. Until then, we can use our shares as wallpaper.
How about holding 12,500,000 of QBID "toilet paper"? I'm stuck with these shares for life. Glad that BIGN has been good to me.
Hey Fish4Bucks,
I'm just a holder of 150,000 shares myself. Not as big a player as a lot of these posters. But I'll be purchasing a little more early Monday. Never been much of a penny-stock investor, but this company shows great promise. I'm on the bandwagon.
My TYCHE shares finally showed up in my TDAmeritrade account. Had me worried there for awhile
Add me to that "small investors" list: 110,000 shares and still buying.
I'm with Hopkinsmg.....
I only hold about 52,000 shares via the GXXL debaucle. My shares have been restricted for nearly two years. I've contacted the stock's transfer agent, but even they don't have any contact information on Feinstein. Must sadly agree that this is likely a dead stick, but no other choice but to hold on to the shares. I moved my shares out of my TDAmeritrade account and into my live broker's account with Wedbush Morgan. But even they were unable to find any info on Feinstein. Good luck to us all....
Unfortunately, I would have to agree with 'hopkinsmg'. I too hold over 50,000 shares of FNRP stock. Have utilized my personal broker as well as contacted the stocks transfer agent. No news or contact information. Even the transfer agent is clueless as to any address or contact information for the company. This one appears to be a dead stick. Oddly enough, however, some shares still do occasionally trade.
BIO - I'm in for 100,000 more shares at 0.24
I have to believe that the Film Library "estimated value" is highly over-inflated and makes the Asset base look stronger than it really is. The company is still upside down based on it's heavy debt load - and that's what needs to be addressed. Curios as to seeing a Debt Schedule that would reflect the creditors and their terms. Any intercompany debts to TMM should be retired or at least subordinated (if not already) to improve the core condition of the company.
I was a bit shocked to see the revenue base as low as it was for Interim 6/30/05 and YE 12/31/05. I'm actually more interested in reviewing the TMM statements. What a quagmyer....Hope that Fan is as good as some of you say.
I'm still sitting on the sidelines with this stock. Been holding shares for awhile, thinking that this company was going nowhere. However, maybe there is some light at the end of the tunnel here? Too early to tell, but I do see some activity, which can only be a positive. Let's cross our fingers....
Good for you Hopkins! I think that my shares are still restricted until late summer. Hopefully there will be a buyer for my shares at that time. Not sure what is happening with this alleged company. Neither myself or my broker can get a hold of anyone there. But I'll take 0.35 per share if I can get it later this year. Hopefully this stock will still be trading.
Hi nez,
I was in PLNI for the last year. I sold out my position before year end (to record the loss on my taxes), but still believe in the company's product and direction. I'll likely buy back in within a month or two. It had a difficult 2005 in terms of pps, but I still believe in the company and it's environmentally-sensitive ("green") mission plan.
Think that you are right-on with that, pb. Looks like this company is an empty shell
What's up with the volume/price today (1/11/06)? Something happen that we don't know about? Still sitting on a number of shares - basically worthless. Any news?
Any news as to the existence of this "company"? Occasional trading going on, but nothing to write home about. Don't think the restriction on my stock gets lifted until next August. Not that there will be any value to them...
robg,
Still believe in the concept of this operation as well as the many strong employees that the company has hired on. Yes, PPS is in the tank at present and lots of Frank-bashing in process (some of which is certainly deserved!). But with any pinkie, you only invest what you know you can lose. I'm going to continue to ride this train for awhile and see if my gut feeling on the biz is accurate. Good luck to you and others who decide to remain on the rollercoaster...
Wow! I finally got my order filled at 0.0002 this AM. Only took half a week
I'm in San Diego as well, and I subscribe to Cox Communications (North County). I still have not seen any info regarding Q as a new premium channel. But there are a number of people in the ever-growing North County that is looking forward to subscribing to Q. Expect a strong response and subscription request to Q in N.C. San Diego
Anyone else "high" on this company? I'm liking the product lines and directions that this firm is taking.
Not a big holder either (250,000 shares), but slowly accumulating.
Thanks rocknrolly,
Like you, I've been doing some serious searching for any contact information for this entity. I'm holding a fair amount of shares, but don't expect any market for this stock once all of our restrictions lift. I've ordered my stock cert's (in transit) to determine my restriction dates. I think they are in December of this year. Regardless, I doubt that there are any buyers looming out there.
Me too! I'd be VERY HAPPY selling all my shares at 0.40. Heck, I'll take 0.10 at this point. But I expect that upon the time our restrictions are lifted, stock value will be ZERO
Not sure of the restriction "lift" date. I had thought that it was to be August '05, but still awaiting the copies of my stock cert's to verify. I'm now thinking probably December '05. This company no longer exists in my mind
I haven't heard "boo" from this alleged company in a great while. Tried calling them last week but phone number had been disconnected. Ordered my stock cert's but doubt that there is a market for them. My thinking is that this is just a dead stick.
Thanks Lobo, and your're right on that I'm more of a "peeping Tom" than an actual contributor. Most of the gang on this board bring strong DD and investment experience to the table. There are exceptions of course, but overall it's a good group and I enjoy reading the posts. Have only been invested in QBID for 13 months, but have been following it for over 3 years. I believe in the concept and the core group of people involved in this enterprise. I keep buying in at the lower levels (that is, when my wife isn't looking...) and maintain strong faith in the future of this company. Looking forward to the information and perspectives that you all bring back from the meeting. Tip one back for me and the QBID Homies who can't make it out....
To cover my tracks, no disrespect intended Lobo. I live in North County San Diego, and grew up in the San Fernando Valley. Burbank is an old stomping ground of mine. Didnt' receive an invite to this gala, but will live through you and the others who are attending. I hope that you all can gleen some much needed information from the troops at QBID. But hope you have a great time there as well.
Lobo,
I was about to commit to attending this event up in L.A. But then the thought of you leaving your "poor wife" home alone for a few days has me concerned. As a fellow QBID shareholder, I am willing to fly out to your place and look after your spouse (and any twin sisters that she may have!) until you return home from the meeting. It's a sacrafice that I'm willing to bear for my investment "brother in arms"....
Too Funny.
I've contacted my broker about my restriction date, but they stated that they don't have that information. They gave me a number to call FNRP, however (and as expected), the number is disconnected. Probably should have asked my broker to send me my cert's. Oh well, they are in safe keeping at least.
Stock can't be "completely" dead if price is going up and there is some (5,000 shares) volume. Can't find any information on the company or any contacts. Help!
kc,
I work in Temecula (live in No. San Diego County) and would have to agree that the Temecula Valley has turned into a major residential metropolis. Housing complexes from as far as the eye can see. And not nearly as affordable as they were 5 yrs. ago.
SoCal,
I grew up in the Burbank area, but relocated about 12 yrs. ago down to San Diego. I also worked at ABC Studios near Griffith Park and know the area fairly well. Will be going up this weekend to see the "Mighty Q" building. Your comments are well taken with regards to L.A. I avoid that town like the plague.
Also add another 3.0 million shares that I hold...FnkyPhantom
Personally, I don't see how it avoids a R/S. With as many shares O/S as it appears (and I have no clue as to the number of shares held by investors), the only way to bump the pps is to reverse split (as I see it anyway). And as someone pointed out in a recent post, that is the M.O. of many a pink sheet company. Been burned twice before on R/S and am crossing my fingers on a recent third R/S on a stock that I own.
I'm hoping that is not the case as I've been watching this stock for about 3 years and finally dove in about 10 months ago. I keep accumulating shares at these low levels with the hope that we see a substantial run or upward trend in the coming months. Can't blame the 'Basher's' for venting their frustration on this stock and management's activity. Easy to bite your lip on this one. But I do believe in this company, it's efforts toward growth and visibilty and the programming it provides. This one's a keeper that I believe will repay our patience and perseverence. Go Long, Go Short, whatever...but keep the faith in this company.
Heck! If Q goes to $1.00, I'll BE the chair!!
