I haven't looked at ZYXI in a while. Got lucky the first time around w/ a multi-bagger.
I had to free up some money so I've exited my position for a better opportunity. Got into TMI Warrants. Will be keeping a keen on to get into GRVY again, cash flow will be impacted in the future as they ramp up marketing of their new game. They have really scaled back expenses a lot.
TMI Warrants have had quite a run.
Little in the way of catalysts right now, besides cheapness. This will be a wait and see stock.
Roth gonna go out on a limb in the near future? What do people think they will say? $2.50 potential for EGMI?
The potential from this stock starts from other patients finding that the SCIG delivery method is better than IVIG method, which looks to be the primary method of delivery for immuno-globulin treatments. This will broaden the application for the Freedom60. Than hopefully the company will find ways to better market their product for delivery of other drugs via SCIG. This seems to be taking place, but has not really taken off. It's been a while since I have looked, but this is probably an area of research about the company I would look into next. This would be an area of significant growth in using their product, before someone else develops the "better mousetrap".
I can see it now. Roth will come out tomorrow and say "We believe we have to untuck our male members and let it all hang out. We reiterate our buy with a $2.50 target."
I'm guessing they are waiting for validation of growth with some top line increase in the next Q. If that happens we will definitely be above $3.
Q posted. Like the top line growth, but of course wished it was stronger. Will have to parse through the rest of it.
I think I just got whiplash. From down 5% w/ 15k shares to +20% on 500 shares.
Beat me to the punch on that one. Tipster must be a youngin...
With all this large volume, I wonder if we'll be seeing some 13-D's filed soon. Couple more days of this and we'll find out.
I'll be golden when it crosses 0.25. Today we could have a shot with a decent Q. Vivaglobin has certainly been growing and hopefully recession will have some penny pinching hospitals looking at one of the lower cost solutions in SCIG delivery around. Freedom60 doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but it is the only Medicare approved option. We've gotten some growth from that alone, but surprised they haven't taken the whole market.
There is no direct comparison for EGMI, that I am aware. From a relative value standpoint this easily has some way to go. Look at a company like MGAM. MGAM markets games to tribal casinos. It has over 10 times the revenue and market cap is 40% larger than EGMI, however their earnings power and growth does not compare. Where is the logic in that valuation? Should it be of equal valuation or should it be valued higher? You make the call.
EGMI is about 55% of my portfolio. If it became 99% of my portfolio and the outlook is still good, I will not be selling.
I'm guessing this conference drummed up some interest.
AGT has been on a nice climb over the last 6+ months. The last month has been especially kind. My largest commodity position. Thanks for the heads up, mods.
The top line growth will be an interesting development, especially since the last few quarters were quite flat. If they are anywhere near the Roth numbers than we are looking at 30%-40% top line growth. This should continue to make things interesting.
The numbers are staggering because the margins are so juicy. That's why SGMS decided to give EGMI the shaft. They knew this game card was a category buster. Problem w/ SGMS was they stayed in the box with their thinking. EGMI took this out of the box and saw the varied applications. Hopefully as they grow they develop the company infrastructure to handle the various applications. I still think this has some further applications we haven't seen yet, w/ smart card technology, etc. The potential is vast. Still 10 bagger potential from here w/ just lottery sales, promotional sales and edutainment sales.
No diworsifying here for me (55% of my portfolio). Holding over 2 yrs now.
Almost approaching the highs for volume for the last year and only a little more than half the day is through.
Getting out the popcorn. This is turning into an interesting day.
if we made new 52wk highs, while at the doorstep of dow 10k, than it would be interesting. Wonder what's going on at Roth conf?
Awww, who spoiled the fun and took us down to .25?
IGT owns 5.05% of ChinaLot
Volume increase noted.
Why can't they close at .25 and let me enjoy my Unrealized L/T gains?
whoa, what happened. I just hit refresh and I see .25. That's huge.
So the 1mm is already part of existing 2Q & 3Q revenue?
Roth = no balls.
Is the paint dry yet? I've been watching it dry for a while. Q hopefully on the way.
Or could it provide cover for an institution to accumulate? So they put a big sell above the current ask and weaker hands look at that and have an "oh-sh!t" moment and sell their shares. All that strategizing makes my head spin. We can try reading the tea leaves or just know that GRVY is selling below cash value and be patient.
Unfortunately not many catalysts here right now besides cheapness.
What do you mean by that?
I think you're right in that the market wants more proof. I however do not need the proof. Proof is that when SGMS sold these to the Kansas and Iowa lottery systems it sold like hotcakes. SGMS knew they had a category buster. SGMS got greedy and figured they can do this on their own. They went out and built their own mousetrap and locked EGMI out of the US for now. Now EGMI is trying to sell this in the markets outside of the SGMS agreement. Enter the China contract and the Sovereign contract. Pricepoint may be high for the average layperson in rural China, but not so much for urban China. They are catching up to the US in terms of GDP/capital in the urban environment. That's a couple of hundred million potential customers for EGMI cards. If some gambler in the midwest loved the card, what do you think the gambleholics in China will think? Human nature is not very different, even across borders and cultures.
10%, is for non-believers. Dude, I am at 42%.
You're missing the big picture. All small companies have lumpy sales. Its the nature of them being small. Contracts make a substantial impact and are difficult to smooth. The growth rate is a projection over a period of time, so you may get 10% one quarter and 70% another. I am also waiting for the revenue figures to look better, but am satisified with managements ability to close deals. They have missed in the past on some opportunities, but they have definitely delivered on others. They are not going to hit 100% on all their potential deals. However some of these deals are a long time coming. Look at Thomas the Tank, that's been out there for a long time and is only just going to hit the stores in the coming quarters. Look forward, but review backwards to what has brought us here.
I think its great we have these examples, so we see the level of marketing depth the management is pursuing for the cards. These are some big potential opportunities. I would guess the company designed some specific cards to pitch to potential clients. They might not bite right now on these marketing opportunities, but at least management is try to reel in the big fishes. I think that is the best way for them to go. They have a unique product, so find the deep pockets that could utilize this offering. That's why I am in deep with EGMI.
Check out the presentation on their website again. You will see the NY Yankees after page 29, page 38 and page 45. It only flashes for a split second and than you can't find the actual image of the Yankees. Are MLB cards in the works? They have in the past mentioned possibility of sports marketing, but it never came to fruition. I think it would be a great card idea for the Yanks to sell in their store or have a fan giveaway. Maybe partner with one of the larger card manufacturers like Topps. Some of the premium cards, kids will pay a buck or two. That's the great thing about these cards, very flexible in how they can be utilized.
As for the conspiracy or subliminal messages, I am a big believer in subliminal messaging having studied it during a class in college. I am also a big X-Files fan and believer of the military/industrial complex. Take that with a grain of salt.
I may be going crazy, but did anyone notice a bug in the presentation? When you scroll through you see some images of the NY Yankees after page 29, page 38 and page 45. It only flashes for a split second and than you can't find the actual image of the Yankees. MLB cards in the works?
If they take a 50% haircut because they don't realize their potential, than i still would have made a lot of money. I'm okay with that. I won't be going down in flames after a rocket ride. I had it happen to me with VPHM a while back. I understand this market alot better than what necessitates getting an approval for a hepatitis C drug.
Wasn't my plan, but EGMI just grew faster than any other investment I had. I also wasn't planning to diworsify my portfolio for the sake of diworsification. There also wasn't anything I saw that was a better investment. My timeline is to reevaluate again maybe mid next year, but by than I still might not find anything better. All told I still don't hold 1-2% of the float like some of the heavy hitters, but I'm putting my money where my mouth is.
I have held this stock over two years. Why take profits, when you can very well miss the next big move? If you've done your research you sit and wait until the story changes. The story has changed in EGMI, but always to the positive. The only trading I am doing is adding occasionally with spare cash from other positions. I recently added again because the long term picture to me looks more assured than it did 6 weeks ago and it's trading at the same price. I almost added a bunch in the recent downdraft, but didn't pull the trigger because it was off my bid by a few pennies. I'll sit and be patient. This position is about 42.5% of my portfolio and i'm still willing to add.
Rumor has it that Lord Steinberg is looking to upgrade to a castle when EGMI starts booking serious revenues. Just joking ;), but hoping to join the ranks of the Lord at the polo club.
