Yes, that was published in 2021, so while it had nothing to do with the ActiPatch at the time, it could easily have influenced Ilfeld to seek out the ActiPatch for further studies.
I'd like to see Ilfeld use the higher-power RecoveryRx device for his next study.
Here's an Ilfeld Study that found 80% reduction in opioid use. It has nothing to do with the ActiPatch but it's interesting.
https://sportsmedicineweekly.com/science/nerve-zap-pain-treatment-could-cut-need-for-opioids-after-surgeries/
Have to agree with this 100%
27,000 posts over 15 years is a sign of a mental disorder, IMO, but then I'm not a mental health professional.
avg 1800 posts per year, 5 posts per day, for 15 years.... Imagine what else one could accomplish with that effort.
And IMO the PPS would still be at .0003 today if none of those 27,000 posts were written.
I don't think there's much in that PR we didn't already know. For example, we knew a higher power device would need a new 510(k), and we knew the Synergy deal was dead. I'm disappointed in his statement that "talks with a major distributor in Asia and the CIS countries fell through after about six months of conversation" because (a) Synergy was never a major distributor and (b) six months of conversation means August - January, so they knew it was dead in February yet stuck with their "we'll release news when it's appropriate" story. But that's water under the bridge.
JNDouble1 already told us that the new KT Tape management didn't like the ActiPatch product.
One new development: Staelin's message about "actively marketing the product line" and the need for funding is refreshing. This message is different from his previous email where he implied that the company was content with the status quo of sitting back as an OEM manufacturer and allowing others to do the marketing and promotional work.
When Staelin uses the word "dissolution," that's just Safe Harbor talk. THAT won't happen, IMO, but Staelin is signaling that he's not going to single-handedly fund this company in 2024.
I've been saying for years that a R/S is inevitable. They will want to have accompanying news to prop up the share price though. Hopefully, Dr. Ilfeld will publish positive results, get more funding, and start larger studies. An R/S won't be fun, but it would be better than borrowing from sharks or toxic lenders.
Friday after market close before a holiday was a good time to release that PR. Staelin is sharp, but that's another thing we already knew.
Christmas Positives for BIEL:
1. It's a real company with a real product.
2. The company is not burning $$$ millions every quarter trying to get a product through the FDA wringer. They accomplished that already.
3. The company is very close to profitability every quarter. Just a stone's throw, really.
4. There is no toxic debt. The company is not sinking under death spiral financing.
Down here in the world of sub-penny pink biotech, EACH of these is the exception, not the rule. That makes BIEL.... exceptional!
Yes, BIEL also has its negatives, of which we are all aware. Every pinkie biotech has positives and negatives. But let's give credit where credit is due.
Happy Holidays!
No, Art, it's not "fun." Maybe it was, once, but no longer.
When iHub relaxed the posting guidelines, these MB's turned into sewers. Now it's toxic. It's unhealthy. It brings out the worst in everyone. It's degrading.
It's definitely not "fun."
I'm as guilty as anyone.
I urge everyone to read the last dozen posts they wrote and ask yourselves "am I proud of that? Would I want my loved ones to read that and know I wrote that?"
We can all be better people. If there's nothing to talk about, we don't need to talk. Yes, social media sites are overrun by immature powerless people insulting and bullying each other, but that doesn't HAVE to happen here.
If someone insults you, turn the other cheek. That's THEIR problem, not yours.
Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! My son and his girlfriend are coming today from 2000 miles away -- THAT's what's important. Not this.
Do you do anything other than post bullshit?
Stop posting FUD bullshit and I won't have anything to say to you. Keep posting FUD bullshit and I'm going to call you on it. Seriously man.
When the volume is this low, most of it is just MM's making a market. You say the sellers are eager to sell at any bargain basement price but today sellers only sold $734 worth at .136 and didn't sell ANY at .135
There aren't any sellers OR buyers right now. This volume is meaningless. It's peanuts being traded every day. Whatever you're trying to accomplish with your FUD is a waste of time right now. Give it a rest.
And take some time to learn how to read a Form 4. It's worth the effort.
I am not feeling the Holiday Spirit here.
Peace and love, everyone!
Remembering why you stopped posting here? 😄
The MB has become a wasteland. It was hard enough to engage in an actual discussion before; now it's simply not possible.
When the stock closes over 15 cents, you say nothing, but when the stock closes under 15 cents, you say "it can't rise above 15 cents." It's just silly.
There's 45,000 on the BID at .135 right now -- where are your sellers?
And why the FUD anyway? This stock is WAY under the radar. Nobody is reading this MB except investors who've already heard your FUD message. There's nobody new here. Maybe you should save the FUD bullshit until there's some news.
You "just objectively cite facts?" Pause to reflect on that -- as an example, the statement "All delays to date have been solely result of gross mismanagement on RDGL's part" is not objective. But no matter. "It is what it is" and your posts are what they are.
Sorry, I wasn't asking you to "look it up," I assumed you knew the patent number since you reference that patent so knowledgeably.
Regarding your question "would they even have standing to ask for extension?" the answer is yes. There doesn't have to be a FDA delay. There just has to be proof that the applicant is pursuing FDA approval or clearance. That said, it's unlikely that Battelle asked for the extension since Battelle was not pursuing FDA approval. MK would have to be involved and it's unlikely he would let that PR opportunity pass by.
Still, I'd like to see the Battelle patent and compare it to Vivos' patents. I know that YOU say Vivos' patents are "weak," but once again, you're not objectively citing facts -- that's your opinion. I want to read the patents myself.
Thanks for your indulgence!
that trade at 0.132 was for 1,002 shares. Total: $132.26
does that really warrant the exclamation "oh my god?"
If that seller from June 8 2023 came back and dumped under a dime again, that would warrant an "oh my god" from you (and a "hallelujah!" from me), but a trade costing $132.26 is not a reason to lose you cool.
If you're going to freak out and exclaim "oh my god" every time there's a $125 trade under 15 cents, you might want to get some anxiety medication to help you survive the next several weeks.
Except for when it goes above 0.15
Which it has done several times in the past couple of weeks.
you "love that green" but you scoff at a 50% pop?
Really?
Well that's kind of bullshit, isn't it, to imply that the FDA thinks animal data is worthless?
I mean, opinions are opinions, but BS is BS.
I don't think the bead process is in the public domain -- that particular Battelle patent still looks active to me. The Italian company must have licensed the tech.
the Battelle patent number that expired in 2022 is not on the RDGL website.
I'm sure you know that US patents get extended for the FDA "delay" if/when the device or drug gets FDA approval/clearance. That's why I want to see the original Battelle patent. The problem is that Battelle has many "relevant" patents (depending upon one's definition of "relevant"), some active, some not, so I'm having trouble finding it.
BTW the bead delivery process is also a Battelle patent.
I'm just trying to do DD on patents. Any help is appreciated.
Link to one of these RDGL updates? I want the patent number.
Battelle had (and still has) dozens of related patents.
Thanks!
What is the patent number of the main patent that you say is expired? Thanks!
What confusion? It all seems quite clear to me.
The only confusion I see is the confusion exhibited by anyone who still thinks Synergy is going to buy $10 million worth of product from Bioelectronics.
Synergy does not have a pot in which to urinate. In Nepal, that's saying a lot.
Not to mention the fact that "[becoming] a part of the IMS Group..... most likely caused their dormant website" is illogical since the only contact information for Synergy on the IMS Group site is.... the URL for Synergy's dormant website.
But who knows -- based on that Sales Manager job posting on LinkedIn, Synergy might be undergoing a transformation. They are seeking an individual to "manage a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and objectives." The successful candidate should have "Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to train and motivate a team."
The applicant should also be "Proficient in Microsoft Office." Perhaps the new Sales Manager can edit some html in MS Word and get that Synergy website back online! GoDaddy is still parking the website free of charge!
They're Hiring at Synergy!

Here's a picture of your desk. That looks like a comfy chair.

This job has been posted since June -- they're looking for JUST the right person! Job Description:
LOL yeah THAT's the ticket.
Have you tried contacting Synergy through IMS?
16 months ago, there was a rumor that an entity named Synergy, based in Kathmandu, was going to buy $10 million worth of ActiPatches and sell them on the other side of the globe.
Here's their website: oops.
https://www.synergy-corporation.com/
Here's their linkedIn page: oops.
https://www.linkedin.com/company/synergycorporation/
maybe facebook? oops.
https://www.facebook.com/synergycorporationnepal/
I think you get the idea.
KitoTech in Seattle apparently signed a deal with Synergy within the last year:
https://www.prweb.com/releases/kitotech-medical-inc-signs-agreement-with-synergy-corporation-for-international-distribution-of-their-medical-and-consumer-products-803148643.html
I contacted the KitoTech CEO back in March and asked him if it bothered him that the Synergy website had disappeared. He informed me that the Synergy guy assured HIM that the Synergy website was simply being redesigned and updated. Wonder what other lies that Synergy guy told KitoTech.
Also of interest: the KitoTech CEO said they were shipping product to Dubai. I just hope KitoTech got paid and waited for the check to clear before shipping product to Dubai.
I considered contacting KitoTech for an update, but why bother -- I think I already know the answer, because Synergy is not listed on this page with KitoTech's other distributors:
https://www.micromendskinclosure.com/company-profile
pacjd, I have no problem with you on a personal level, and I wish giul the best in their upcoming lawsuit. I'm just trying to do some due diligence.
The current standard of care is still the pap smear, although HPV testing is gaining traction. A pap smear is kind of intrusive -- insert a speculum, expose the cervix, and use a brush to gather cells. You say the LuViva scan is "old tech" but the pap smear is older -- invented in 1920 and made available in the 1950's. So I'm not sure what you're trying to say when you say this:
His post scolded me with "Ya gotta stay current on the latest news." I'm simply asking "how was that news?" Do you not get my meaning? I'm asking how I should have stayed current on that information. Do I have to read a stock message board to find KT Tape's "news?"
And it doesn't matter whether I knew or YOU knew. what matters is: did customers in the UK know? Is KT Tape making an effort to market and promote the 720-hour device?
Appears not.
KT Tape needs to find customers who DON'T know that the ActiPatch 720-hour version is still a better deal than the KT Tape 720-hour version. I suppose they'll sell a few in Boots since Boots doesn't also sell the ActiPatch, but KT Tape isn't going to sell SQUAT online if they stick to their "let's just hope it sells itself" marketing strategy.
How was this "news," by the way? Was there a press release? A newspaper article? Any promotion at all?
KT Tape didn't try very hard to market or promote or advertise the 250-hour version. The biggest question about KT Tape: will they try harder to market and promote and advertise the 720-version? Based on the fact that it's been available for three weeks and customers can't even FIND it using Google.... looks like the answer is "same old, same old," which is going to result in similar sales numbers.
Thanks! Last three weeks, huh? Guess I missed the rollout marketing promotion.
Somebody at KT Tape or at Boots needs to learn how to make a product come up in a Google search.
Boots charges 35 pounds, $44.41 USD, not as high as I expected.
In your mind, what did Faupel and/or Blumberg do that was illegal and/or a violation of SEC regulations?
In your mind, what did GTI do that was illegal and/or a violation of SEC regulations?
the explanations are in the form 4's.
Perhaps you should ask myjo for an explanation?
You could look here :
https://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/GTHP/disclosure
Notice that all SEC transactions in the past two years are BUYS/exercises by insiders. The insiders own a lot of this stock. It was all priced above market with the exception of Blumberg's most recent transaction.
In the most recent Form 4, Blumberg combined some warrants at .25 that were expiring on 12/31 into fewer warrants at .12 and exercised them. He gave himself a really good deal this last time. That was the only one priced below market.
This is a FDA play.
I've had success with FDA plays where the drug or device was rejected more than once by the FDA. The investing public tends to undervalue those and when/if those companies get FDA approval/clearance, the stock really pops.
There are no guarantees in biotech, especially in penny biotech. This is gambling and anyone who says different is lying or ignorant. There's no guarantee that the FDA won't reject the application AGAIN, and if that happens this company goes belly up. It pretty much went belly up after the last rejection but the CEO (Cartwright) somehow replaced the toxic financing and pulled a phoenix from the ashes.
This is my current favorite biotech pennystock gamble. Those who don't like it don't have to participate.
Will the LuViva Scan make Guided a lot of money after FDA clearance? Frankly, I don't care. That's an entirely different play, IMO. I've seen dozens of biotechs get FDA approval/clearance only to discover they couldn't sell the product. (Dendreon might be the most famous.)
But that's putting the cart in front of the horse. I'm here for the FDA play. Study results first, then FDA submission, then FDA decision.... it's not happening tomorrow. The PPS reflects this.
I'm not mentioning SMI because I don't believe SMI has any money. If they prove me wrong and make a payment... icing on the cake. And if they don't, their clinical study won't hurt Guided's chances with the USFDA.
The lawsuit against Faupel and Blumberg is unrelated chatter. The disputed loan amount was only $64,000 and GTHP is not a defendant. The outcome of that case is not going to affect GTHP but I guess there's not much else to talk about right now.
Are Faupel and Blumberg saints? Of course not. Should you believe anything a pennystock biotech CEO tells you over the phone? No you should not. Welcome to penny biotech. I've seen, and made money on, a LOT WORSE.
What does this mean?
Every single time you respond to one of my posts, you prove my point.
I didn't say I was a threat. I don't think ANYONE on these stock message boards is a threat.
I want people to discuss the stock and the company, not mock insult and ridicule others.
So why the constant attacks? Take a look at all the responses to my posts in the past two weeks. Show me ONE that offers a counterpoint or rebuttal to what I said about BIEL.
LOL this is a farce.
You're saying "Let me know if you need additional guidance," yet you refuse to give any -- just cryptic obtuse riddles.
Ahhhh! Riddle Answers! I comprehend now! You're simply full of shit, just like CEO Whelan!
Glad we straightened that out. OK, I'll grant you your wish now and ignore you.
LOL let's recap:
You: "blah blah blah. If you need help comprehending, let me know."
Me: "I need help comprehending."
You: "No kidding! whatever."
Are you trying to be clever? Because it's not working.
As for my "Tommie Copper conundrum:" it's not MY conundrum. You brought it up and you can't explain why, so that's all we need to know.
If you think the company named Tommie Copper would bother paying someone to post on a stock message board for BIEL, then god help you.
What is my job, according to you? I need help comprehending what you mean. Be specific.
It was rhetorical. I know why you pumpers waste so much time insulting me. I just wonder if YOU know.
I'm not complaining, bitching, or moaning about this stock or this company. I'm presenting the facts as I see them and asking for a counter argument. and when I ask why nobody presents that counter argument, that, too, is rhetorical. I know why.
I also know why Whelan isn't transparent.
Two catalysts coming:
* Within the next three months, Ilfeld will probably update the SofPulse study on clinicaltrials.gov. Will he also update the ActiPatch study?
* April 1st, if Whelan doesn't publish the annual financial statement, the ticker goes to Expert Market.
See any others? I don't. Maybe a tweet, maybe a picture of some boxes on Facebook, but nothing worth discussing.
"You're [sic] lack of self awareness...." you think I lack self awareness? LOL,
