Great posts today folks. First off, we are involved with the Rutgers Center for Oral Infectious Disease and some of the B is going there.
Noretreat, no problem, we will get a press release 12 hours later on Tuesday morning.
Rule Rationale, B has an advantageous ability to maintain a film layer adhesion to biological surfaces. Yawzer, there are 2 million infections per year due to medical implants, just in the U.S. Imagine if B could be a coating on medical implants reducing hospital stays and increased morbidity and mortality. We just don't have the money and resources, right now, to explore all the B possibilities.
Unfortunately, for that same reason, we can't move our pre-clinical compounds forward, which is sad for us and for humanity.
Autism, rheumatoid arthritis, high blood pressure, etc. Folks, the farm system, which we cannot advance, (right now, but we will) COULD, be bigger and better than B and P, not K.
Demyelination in most neurological diseases- Lou Gehrig's, Parkinson's, Multple Sclerosis, etc. Some here probably know, others don't, but a drug that works on demyelination is beyond HUGE.
We need a partnership deal in the next 2 months for 40M to 75M, so we can really advance this company's potential.
Stock at $2.00 is a f***ing joke, IMHO. Should be at least $4. and that is still low.
CTIX is unknown, existing on this hideous and ridiculous bulletin board, existing in obscurity, a total unknown.
That changes, shortly. Lets get the BOD in place and cash infusion, get listed on NASDAQ and instuitions and hedgies will start to gobble up shares.
We just need to be patient a few more months.
Patience is the art of concealing your impatience.
Cheers. We are close.
Its nice to have Dr. Richard Scott, one of the co-founders of PolyMedix still helping us out, along with Dr. Gill Diamond, from UP biochemistry.
Dr. Scott, now VP of Research at Fox Chase, helped us do the research that led to the SBIR grant that runs for 2 years and started July 1, 2014.
SBIR gave the grant for a novel therapeutic for invasive candidiasis because Brilacidin was robustly effiacious in a mouse of disseminated candidiasis. Following single dose administrations, total Candida burdens in the tongues were reduced up to three logs.
Just another example of the potential of Brilacidin, especially its effectiveness using single or few doses.
The B arsenal is starting to fall into place.
Just us retail investors right now and I'm thankful for that, so I can keep accumulating at this ridiculous price. That all changes shortly when we are listed on the NASDAQ. I look forward to seeing trades of Cellceutix (CTIX) go by on the CNBC ticker on the bottom, hopefully within 4-5 months
Cheers.
Noretreat and Sox, you are our technology guru's.
I assume on Monday, September 8, 2014, at 8 P.M., you will both be hard at work and by 9 P.M. you will be posting the entire R&R presentation for us.
Safari, hacking, whatever it takes.
Looking forward to your 9 P.M. update.
Cheers.
I am going to respond to my own post, if that's allowed, because I forgot to make my last point.
I DON'T WANT A BUYOUT.
I am long term and will be happy as a clam to hold this stock 5 years from now.
It's just that the potential and upside is so great, and we have many eyes on us, that I think it COULD happen in 2015.
I am not advocating it and don't want it, but I do think it will happen. The higher the better.
BTW, tom brady, make some fish fillets on Sunday.
Cheers Folks.
Thank God we are still listed on this ridiculous bulletin board, so that you can still pick up shares at this ridiculous price, when the stock should currently be $4.00. Whoever sold this week, allowing me to pick up some shares at 1.92, 1.93, thank you.
Since there are no hedgies or institutions in the stock, its just retail investors, RIGHT NOW. This is the ONLY bulletin board stock I am invested in.
Whoever sold this week is clueless, but I am grateful because , I am still accumulating, and soon we will be listed on the NASDAQ, trading over 3 million shares per day, EVERYDAY, and the institutions will be gobbling up shares.
THIS IS LAST CALL FOLKS, and after reading many of the posts today and tonight, do you folks really think its a great idea to drink and post at the same time.
Remember, Weil Cornell and Albert Einstein. Remember 30 kg.
WHO THE F WOULD SELL RIGHT NOW, I can see it at 7., but really if your trying to make .05 to .10 a trade you are missing the big picture and the big money. Nickel and dime all you want, good luck with that. Folks, hold tight, ride the waves, the fun will soon begin. Very shortly. BTW, don't disregard our farm system drugs also, which we don't have the money and resources to move forward with, right now (changing very shortly)
All the best, Cheers, but you know that already.
Good week folks, I picked up another 31,000 shares at an average cost of 1.95.
Like I said, the fun starts mid November/2014 and continues thereafter, we will be listed on the NASDAQ by the end of February/2015.
We will be receiving a cash infusion in the next 2-3 months, and that is the company that ultimately buys us out, IMHO, probably Lilly, but don't count out BMY or PFE. Not a pure biotech like GILD, CELG, etc., cetainly not PCYC.
Will be a good R&R, Leo holding some tidbits, but its just the warmup act for mid November thru the summer of 2015, which will be a great period for us CTIX shareholders. I'll be at the shareholders meeting, if you want to say hello.
For you folks who feel I am bashing, your right, I will put in buy orders at 1.95 or less, all day long. Sorry folks, the stock will never see $1.90 again, last call was this week.
Buckle up, we are starting a move to 7 shortly.
Good weekend all, enjoy the football games.
Many wonderful, thoughtful posts today folks, too many to congratulate individually. The best message board I've seen and the only one worth following and participating in, as far as I'm concerned.
I have nothing to add to what I previously said, and I stand by it. The company is currently worth $4.00 to $4.50 today, its selling at $2.05 and will be bought out BEFORE the summer of 2015 for somewhere between $5.50 and $7.25, by Lilly. I'm on record, no sense in me repeating this ad nauseam. Let things start to play out, starting in November and 2015 will be a great year for all CTIX shareholders.
When you see over 2.5 million shares trade in a day, buckle up.
BTW, don't under-estimate the May 27, 2014 CTIX newsrelease, and where some of the 30 kg is going.
All the best, we are close.
Hi J, I am not all that bullish about anything significant happening on/or before the September 9 conference, but Leo is probably holding some tidbits for it.
However, IMHO, everything changes starting in Mid-November 2014. Actaully me and Big K kinda agree on one thing, he sees $6.00 in the spring of 2015, I see a little higher by the summer of 2015.
Big K, just a difference of opinion. The current market value of CTIX, all in is about 260 Million. In your opinion the current market value should be 3.2 Billion.
I've stated the current price should be $4 to $4.50, thereby, all in, its 680 Million and Lilly will buy us out within the next 9 months for 7.25 MAX, or about 1.2 Billion.
You cannot value and compare CTIX, with K in 1 to a drug company with a drug in 3. Massive difference in valuations. If K,P,B where all in 3, its a totally different story and the stock would not be selling at $2.05.
We get bought out because of the enormous potential and because CTIX has many eyes on it.
Anyway, all the best to you and your wife, enjoy your evening. Although we may have some differences of opinion, ultimately we are on the same team, I am putting my money where my mouth is, as I continue to buy every week, and whatever happens we will all make money with CTIX, it just seems to be a question of when and how much. IMHO, very soon, fireworks start the end of November.
All the best.
OMG, it just gets worse and worse. Family, the cocktail reference was a joke. I give up, you all are right, the stock is worth 15 Billion and its going to a minimum of $250.00
I think, I'm only allowed 3 posts a day so don't expect anymore responses. I am going to have a couple of cocktails now, and I'll check the board every 4 hours for a good laugh.
I know the stock will be 250.00 minimum someday and that is low, and thats after ten 2 for 1 splits, but keep one thing in mind, and this is probably a waste of time, but here it goes.
When a company gets bought out, there are additional personal agreements arranged with upper management such as working for the acquirer for 2 to 5 years, getting a bunch of stock options additionally, in lets say Lilly for instance, etc. etc.
Shareholders never know about it because they are personal services contracts and are separate agreements.
At $7.00, Leo and Menon would each walk away with approxiamtely 300 MILLION EACH, when all is said and done.
Put yourself in their shoes, walk away with a guaranteed 300 MILLION DOLLARS each or roll the dice.
There are no guarantees in life, there are what ifs with B,K,P, as with all drugs in development, and oh there is another little factor that some company 6 months, a year from now develops a drug or methodology that blows K,P,B away. Impossible, I know, CTIX will conquer the world, even though worldwide 40 Billion a year is spent on healthcare R&D. CTIX will be worth 30 Billion someday and Leo and Menon would be crazy to sell now.
Personally, I would take the 300 MILLION, but thats just me.
Out of posts, on to cocktails.
PROCEED WITH THE MUSHAGAS
Oh, one last point that I forgot. Don't get too hyped up or expect too much on September 9, because then you will probably be disappointed, for no reason.
In my opinion, the fireworks start around November 19 to 21, 2014 and continue thereafter. Congrats to those who know why, your the ones that get it.
Stay well.
You must indeed have forgotten yourself to thus attack a stranger upon your little island until you know whether he be friend or foe.
But going around the horn: 2 years ago, pre Brilacidin, Leo said if there is a buyout it would be for 15 Billion, OK, not hype or hyperbole, but Leo had a few cocktails before he said or wrote that. Next, the stock will be 10 to 15 in 2 years but unfortunately we never see that because we get bought out the summer of 2015, the latest, OK lets see its 2014, add 2 years, that is 2016, not 2015. Next, The Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC) estimates the market for the treatment of oral mucositis to be 1.0 to 1.2 Billion, and CTIX will not get 100%, be happy with 30%. Next, Like I said , I'm long term, don't want to sell at $6.00, but when CTIX gets bought out, it doesn't matter what my conviction is. You, me and all shareholders will get that price, no matter what our convictions are. Next, K+B+P = $400. to $700., OK, see above cocktail reference.
et tu Brute, I think I covered most of the attacks, if I missed any, my apologies.
A couple of quickies, I know you folks are waiting for some new red meat to re-energize yourself for more attacks, so here we go: IMHO, by the summer of 2015, at the latest, CTIX will be bought out for 5.50 to 6.50, Max:7.25. If you take the fully diluted share count, which is growing everyday, your looking at approximately 1.2 Billion. When you see a day with volume of 2.5 Million shares or greater, you will know that its happening within 30 to 45 days.
90% Lilly, 10% Bristol or Pfizer. IMHO
IMHO, Albert Einstein College of Medicine-B
IMHO, CTIX should test B to see if it can manage both oral and alimentary mucositis simultaneously.
IMHO, CTIX stock at $2.05 is DIRT CHEAP. What's the downside? Anything is possible, however I see none. Short term overbought at 2.05, yeah probably, but I'm still buying.
As you folks can see, these are my hideous, meaningless opinions, just like all of your hideous, meaningless opinions, because the stock will do what it will do no matter what you or I think.
Proceed now with the meshugas.
Good holiday weekend friends and foes.
Big K, I love Leo as much as you all do, but that being said he does like to use hyperbole on occassion. K is the grand slam homerun, but that is many years away from approval.
The stock today should be $4 to $4.50. I will continue to add every week like I always do and I agree with you, that $6.00 is coming in the near future.
The summer of 2015 should be very interesting not only for B and P, I believe the 2015 ASCO meeting is in Chicago next year, around the end of May. Lots of fireworks for us in 2015.
Lots of eyes on us. I can't believe the summer went by so fast, great Labor Day weekend all.
Don't get me wrong Big K, I'm a long term investor, started buying CTIX at 1.20, even bought more today at 2.04.
I will hold and ride the waves along the way. This company has incredible potential and at the current price, IMHO, its DIRT CHEAP.
It's also a shame we don't have the money and time to move the autism drug along, because some of the early results look outstanding, and I don't have to tell you what the market for that drug would be.
The stock today should be $4.00 to $4.50, without any further progress on K, P and B.
I think if we don't get bought out, in 2 years we are at $10 to $15, however I think someone gobbles up CTIX within 9 months for $6.00 to $6.50.
For investors if thats the worst case scenario, that ain't bad, would I like to own this stock 5 years from now selling at $50. or $100., of course. It has that kind of potential, and that is the problem, as there are alot of eyes on this company and that is why I think it gets bought out in the not too distant future, because it has that kind of potential and for a company like Bristol Myers,Pfizer, etc, 6 to 6.50 would be cheap.
Just my opinion, I'm still buying and will ride it out no matter what happens, I think this stock is a gift at $2.05 and I don't care if its short term overbought because I'm long term. Like I said it should be 4 to 4.50 today based on whats going on, and we move up from their as we make progress on K. P and B, so why wouldn't I buy more at this ridiculous price of $2.05. My thoughts for what its worth. Good weekend all.
The current worlwide market for oral mucositis drugs is 1.1 to 1.2 billion, not anywhere near the 4.5 billion you are mentioning.
Keeping it real, it is possible that Brilacidin, if approved for everything, ABSSSI, MRSA, Ocular, Otic, diabetic foot ulcers/infections, etc. could eventually produce annual sales of 500 million to 750 million.
If Kevetrin and Prurisol never work out, and this is the worst case secenario, that is still not bad. If Kevetrin and/or Prurisol and/or autism drug and/or rheumatoid arthritis drug and maybe some others produce good results then the upside is great.
I believe Brilacidin will eventually become a cash cow for CTIX, that allows for the development of their other drugs and that in 2 years the stock will be $10. to $15.
I also don't see a cash infusion from big pharma in the area of 50 to 100 million.
Unfortunately we never see $10, $15. $60, $100 etc., etc.,
Because I see this company being bought out by the summer of 2015, for 5.50 to 6.50, probably by a company like Bristol Myers or Pfizer, not a pure biotech company, and that is still not a bad return from these levels, IMHO. Don't hold your breath for a 100. stock like some have predicted, that ain't happening.
Take the 6 dollars, 9 months from now, make a nice buck and move on. Don't live your lives with a $60., $100. or whatever fantasy.
