Good luck to everyone holding. I had to use the latest pre earning run to get out where I went all in over a year ago between $3.15-$3.30. This thing will take off eventually but when?
Alex....I'm not sure why your upset or surprised at the price action today. Until JN does something to keep people interested in staying in long term all anyone has to do is wait for the huge dip In between ERs, Buy and then sell day before or 1 hour after earnings. Wash rinse and repeat. It's the only way to make money until something changes. The way JN has stacked PRs around the week of earnings it has conditioned most investors to take profits around earnings and then re enter when the price pulls back 50% or so. It has nothings to do with the fundamentals of this small but very promising company and everything to do with knowing the sell off is coming and getting ahead of it.
True...USAA allowed me to electronically buy/sell immediately after uplist. Which I was able to cash in at $8.10....to bad I bought back in at $5.80 a couple days later where the price held temporarily before going to sub $3:)
Getting caught up on the messages today. Can anyone say for certain whether it was a SLTD rep or Fresno City employee who stunk up the meeting today?
If it was a city employee I can live with that as those are out of JNs control. If it was Danny Mitchell or any other SLTD employees then that is unacceptable.
I hope it wasn't the latter.
Moon those are preliminary numbers. I think we should wait till the official ones come out in a couple weeks to announce the winner......either way though nice to see SLTD increase their revenue 95% over Q1.
News.....$11M q2
LMAO....Working on another ban from ihub I see.
My thoughts exactly. Funny thing is even though I know the uplist is good for the long term growth of SLTD I'm willing to bet with all the $1M+ contacts our PPS would be a lot higher if we were still on the OTC.
Close call about a block away from me in savannah last night. Good reason for companies/municipalities to switch to Magna Gas........luckily nobody was seriously hurt. He explosion was a block away from the very crowded City Market area downtown. If it was in City market it would have been catastrophic. Sounded like a small VBIED for those who know what that sounds like.

Unfortunately Mark were not beating them in this energy race as much as we're just not falling as fast as they are......
Acquisition PR would be great. But I would rather hear crickets from the company than get another PR touting our "commitment to growth by acquisition and the solar 2.0 business model".......no issues when they put that blurb into a PR with actual substance like he last SunWorks Reno office PR, but those fluffy ones w/o quantitative information always have a negative impact on PPS.
Lol......a friend of mine sold 5.1K a couple minutes ago to get into SEDG. Hopefully their bull run continues or he'll be pissed.
Sandbridge? Never heard of her.
As for your comment "Maff is Maff bro" you are correct. And my concern was for the preceding 4 quarters the Revenue for that quarter was less (think subtraction Rainman) and that is not a good thing.
Let me give you an apples to watermelon analogy to help you wrap your mind around it.
The Chicago Bears 2014 record broken down by Quarters of the season.
Games:
1-4 = 2W 2L
5-8 = 1W 3L
9-12 = 2W 2L
13-16 = 0W 4L
See how each quarter is less than or close to the previous one. That's not good right? You want your team to increase in wins (think revs for a company). That would give fans (think investors) more confidence going in the next year.
BTW my money is on 2-14 for the Bears this year. (Congrats on earning first pick in 2016 draft and finally getting rid Of Cutler)
GLTU and however you spin the "Maff" bro
Thanks for proving my point on how easy it is to manipulate stats to get the desired outcome. Your Q1 2014 vs Q1 2015 comparison is obviously skewed because only one month of sunworks revs in Q1 14' were realized because SLTD closed the deal mid quarter.
My point about flat or declining revs for the last year is supported by these facts:
Q2 2014 - $7.47M
Q3 2014 - $6.43M
Q4 2014 - $5.23M
Q1 2015 - $5.65M (with 30 days MD Rev)
I'm not trying to be the Bear of bad news I'm just pointing out the fact that for a supposedly rapidly growing company we haven't been growing rapidly (or at all) for a year straight. And now that we've had time to get established in Nevada if the Revs don't improve every quarter it's not going to be good for the company. Even if they post $8M in Q2 this year (which would be "growth" over Q2 last year) it wouldn't take much DD to see that with 3 full months of MD revs sunworks revs would have decreased for the 5th straight quarter.
I'm bullish on the company and have a considerably amount of my portfolio in it but if you ignore the pumpers and bashers and open your mind to reasonable arguments about the companies performance the last year you can see my concerns about the declining revs are valid.
GLTU
Carl, the biggest issue I see affecting the PPS and also the one that concerns me the most is the flat or decreasing Revenue for 4 straight Quarters. Stats are easily manipulated to get the desired effect so the Bulls tout the YoY quarterly growth while bears point to decreasing revs for a year. We need growth quarter over quarter as much as Year over year to stop these wild swings and start a steady bullish growth trend.
I do believe Q2 this year will be the biggest the company has ever had and that's why I'm still holding but to get us back on the $40-$45M 2015 guidance JN laid out it will have to be more than double of Q1. That's what I'll be watching for. With the backlog we have If we post $7-$8M in Q2 It will be obvious the company will have to lower guidance in the next conference call.
Lol... Jim looks a lot better this time then he did on the day of uplisting when SLTD was down 50%. I thought he was going to puke on that TV set.
Should be cost effective for SunWorks as Sun City Lincoln is only a few miles down the road from their Roseville headquarters.
Wonder if this was part of the estimated backlog in the CC and just now announced, or if it's in addition to? Either way it's hard to believe how much better the balance sheet looks now and that were still trading at $.16 pre-split.
I truly hope that the IR department screens the requests for the one on one sessions good enough to eliminate 99% of retail SLTD followers.....some of you guys/gals are great, but there's a lot of people whom "I haven't seen their baseball".
Yes and having a bigger backlog could mean a longer wait time for customers from contract to installation. This has the potential to affect customer satisfaction. Nothing worse than spending $30K on something and having to wait 6 months to have it.
I remember JN stating in the CC that "most" of the backlog should be realized in Q2. If they are able to then that means customer wait times have remained reasonable. I'm hoping he's able to execute his plan to do so.
Concur with this sentiment. I would be ecstatic with acquisition news but i think this is just going to be JN reading the 10Q highlights with hopefully more institutional investors listening.
Seems SLTD would have had to file a NT 10-Q No later than yesterday if they wanted to release ER Monday. So we will get it sometime today, unless they just totally dropped the ball.
Here's the link to the article for those interested:

For those like me who don't know SEC rules front to back. This is a private SEC law firms definition on late filing rules from their website.
"If an annual report on Form 10-K or a quarterly report on Form 10-Q is not filed within the required time period, the issuer must file with the SEC within one business day of the due date for the report a Form 12b-25 (designated as an “NT 10-K” or “NT 10-Q” in the EDGAR filing system) disclosing its inability to file the report timely and the reason for the delay. If a Form 10- K or Form 10-Q cannot be filed timely, because the company is unable to file “without unreasonable effort or expense”, the report will be deemed to be filed on the filing due date if the company timely files a Form 12b-25, and then files the report not later that the 15th calendar day (for a 10-K) or 5th calendar day (for a 10-Q) following the due date for the missed report."
LOL. I hope JN isn't out of rounds already. That was about as weak of an opening PR salvo as I've seen from him.......actually it's so much fluff I think he has to have some bigger PR rounds left in his gun..... Acquisition news next 48hrs? Perhaps.
Boat=Bust Out Another Thou$and
spent 3 hours yesterday on what should have been a 20 min return trip cause the trim broke in the up position on the boat I was on.....if you were there you would change your mind and take your sell order down. Lol. Besides this time next week they'll be worth 50% more.
Lol... No really I just laughed out loud. Erroneous statement crushed with facts.
Lol, yeah I just bought a 128GB card for my MacBook Air. Added 50% more memory for $60. I remember paying $80 for a 8GB SD card some years ago. I think these Powerwalls will follow a similar path down to being economically viable for the masses......and with some luck maybe some 3D cells to charge them.
If your trying to go completely of the grid with the Powerwall you would scale it to meet the energy demands of your home. No it's not practical for most consumers to purchase 3-5 Powerwalls but for the wealthy energy conscious homeowners it is (what's an additional $20k when your building a $400k home) And as many have pointed out as the technology improves and more competition enters the market prices will eventually go down. 10 years ago solar wasn't practical for 99% of the U.S. Population and now its an option for most homeowners. I'm embracing this as a huge step in the right direction. Is it perfect? Nope. But a hell of a lot better then what is currently available on a production scale that Tesla is advertising.
Possibly or maybe they tested the battery on one of the locations Solar City installed. Either way it's not a bid deal.
Sorry guys but JFW did have multiple solar projects completed by different installers in the last few years totaling 7MW. The sun works project was around 3MW if my memory serves me. Doesn't mean Tesla didn't test their battery on Sunworks installed panels, but more then likely it was solar cities. Here's a excerpt from JFW PR brochure.
"........were important initial efforts by JFW to curb its carbon footprint, but the company
has since begun investing in onsite renewables
in order to obtain clean power directly. These projects have been funded by the nearly $15M
in energy savings that the company has realized as a result of its efficiency initiatives, and the company has 7 megawatts (MW) of onsite solar in development at nine of its California wineries, which will make JFW the wine industry’s largest solar energy generator by the end of 2015."
Bid $4.18 Ask $4.68....... It will be interesting to see who blinks first.
Mark, that estate is in my hometown. I saw it last time I was out there. It's pretty impressive.......there's quit a few people taking advantage of their land in the foothills and putting "micro solar farms" ground mounted instead of their roof.
Lol, I know right.
"It's better to be lucky than good"
Exactly, and low volume jumped up 100k shares from 59k to 159K 1 min after its release.
5 hours w/o a single post. Must be a SLTD message board record....lol.
Sprech must be exhausted from his 15 round battle with sandbridgette and taking a well earned nap.
Super low volume lately as well. It could simply be the calm before the storm, or it could be institutions have loaded up and theres not many retail investor shares left.
I was planning on loading up around the 1st of the month but decided the risk of news coming out early (b4 5/15 ER deadline) wasn't worth it and re-entered today. Not sure why I feel like it will come out early but just have that feeling.
GLTA
Thanks for the info Bucky. I'll look into that......I just picked up 11.5K shares, Fully loaded now ready for earnings/acquisition news any day.
GLTA
Can anyone get me a L2 screenshot? Thanks in advance.
Hopefully to $3.76......
I've not a nice sized block on the bid there
Ticker SLTWW
"I don't pump made up lies, thanks for labeling me as a lying pumper though."
I never called you a lier. Just a pumper. Which if your being honest with yourself you are. You twisted my words and added lying in front of pumper.....which I guess does make you a lier.
Yeah 10-30M is what's been stated.
Also between sprechs pumping and sandbridges bashing STocktwits sltd page is basically worthless. Hopefully IHUBs board will keep some level of relevance.
