It is useless pumping at this point because the market will take its course. Just sharing what I find.
17 Institutional holders now registered on Nasdaq
Thank you Ping and Andy for the last couple of great post. They are very informative, and I believe that they address the concerns of the investors visiting the board.
I hope that investors do their own DD and think longer term if they believe in the technology. The reason for the price drop is mainly due to day/swing trader taking profit. The reality is that no one wants to loose money hence the effect. So if you are a long-term investor, it's best to get in early while the price is low to take advantage of future gain and reduce the risk.
BMA, I believe that if something really works, there will always be a way to prove that it works, so it won't be long before clinical data becomes available.
It was a great CC. Sales is flat for the Q1 but company is making great progress and expecting sales to start ramping the second quarter and more aggressively in the 3rd quarter. Trial data to be available soon before submitting FDA application. Cytosorb will very likely be qualify for EAP program based on 3 different factors. Also, Cytosorb just got registered in France, and they are aggressively working on ramping sales there. I expect to see buys tomorrow if anyone sells.
Great summary, thanks Ping. I know that many people are very forgetful but they should remember that Cytosorb has saved thousands of lives so far, and it will continue to save more and more lives in the days ahead. They must also remember that "data from the International CytoSorb registry shows the many examples where lives were saved. The registry has been developed in accordance with FDA and ICH guidelines to provide robust data on CytoSorb usage."
You think they are up-to-date? I just don't see Nasdaq constantly updating the share info.
True, I remember you mentioned that but I am thinking that institutions are bookmarking Cytosorbents because they see the future in the stock. Plus, we do not know for sure how many shares they owning.
Looking like Institution has been picking up share. There is one more added to the list.

I see, it shows no affect in that sense. I this case, the patient was way too ill to be recoverable but Cytokine removal was effective as expected. Thanks Ping.
I THINK that's probably the reason why they are experimenting with smaller beads with more surface area to allow it to capture more Cytokine because the immune system of those few people may be producing more cytokine than the rest of the population. It's just my guess.
"Accordingly, the importance of which is antibiotic to capture. "It has now set up a register in order to better study the effect of Cytosorb" says carrier. In Germany the unit is used in 50 hospitals, since 2011 it has been approved in Europe. Only in a few patients, the therapy has been shown clearly no effect. "
Great post Ping. Cytosorb showed no benefit in just a hand full of patients. Lets say 10 out of 5,000 people, that could make it 99.80% effective. I think that more effective than the majority of the drugs on the market that's been approved by the FDA.
The last two years has been a learning phase and beginning stage to create awareness for Cytosorb. Per my understanding, the filters are starting to be use widely but it's still in the evaluation stage so doctors can better understand the technology and all the miraculous benefits. So far, I believe that it's only used when absolutely necessary. As more and more hospitals starts to learn about the technology and usage, it will continue to grow. And it seems to have already started. We will see soon enough.

The product hasn't sold in the last 1-2 years. Why do you think we will get FDA approval? Additionally, why do you think EU hasn't adopted it like you claim?
BMA, every has a different way of looking at things and it mainly depends on investing strategy. Institutions don't look at QoQ over the YoY earning increase so it's a matter of time before they start investing. It's properly speculative for them until after FDA approval. It won't be long before we have news.
snow, that is incorrect. Revenue lowered 4qrt 2014 and expected about same for 1st quarter of 2015. We are expecting an increased in revenue starting second quarter 2015 which is the current quarter.
BMA, I read that there are group studies being done and data collection is in progress.
I just keep on hearing claims that Cytosorb does not save lives. That's is not true. I believe that you have read again and again that Cytokine and Chemokine are harmful and can be fatal at excessive levels, correct? I believe that you also read that Cytosorb already demonstrated the before and after effect of Cytokine on patients. Many patients would die without the use of Cytosorb or a much longer stay in hospital would needed. I think that equates to saving lives. I think you should watch the below video again in case you forgot.
I believe that there is much more than enough studies and data generated to prove effectiveness of Cytosorb.

I totally agree with Caesare74 on this one. I think that many are either ignore nor not knowning the progress Cytosorbents is making.

I'm with you that the stocks market corrected the price to around 7 USD. That is a correction of about 50% (high: 15, low around 5). That is something not unusual happening in bio tech stocks. On the other hand, sharp up moves and following corrections tend to overreact. The market is currently not pricing the many progresses in Europe and Asia. I understand from an american point of view, that things might look a bit different, in as much as the US market is not yet open for the filter. All I'm saying, one of the big trigger for the sales acceptance and sales acceleration will be the approval in the US. However, we have to beare in mind, that in the EU and Asia markets there are combined around 3.5 Bio. people, more than 10 as much as in the US. And CTSO is continuing to adressing this 3.5 bio market. I understand that Chan has a cautious approach. Very intellingent! He not driven by the quaterly sales figures. He has the overall picture which is important. I understand from you angle, after 6 years, you became quite impatient. Believe me, history tells, that human beeings tend to be most impatient right before the plan takes off. My assumption is that by summer (starting in June) we will see much higher price level of the CTSO stocks.
BMA, according to DR. Chan, revenue will be about the same for the first two quarters of 2015 so it's not 9 or 12 months of flat earning.
And I believe that the company did not come to a conclusion for the lack of sales due to a particular sales rep. performance until sometime
mid January or February. I don't see how a company would just publicly anounce such an internal issue to investors.
IMO, BMA is a believer in CTSO, except he is a long turned swing trader. And he is bashing because the drop in sales is a disappointment to him. Note that this is still a development company so the sales numbers can still vary from QoQ.
Cytosorbents now has total of 12 Institutional Investors.

There's so much useful information here. You all should check-out the website and read all you can.
By the way, I always like reading post from Andy and Ping but have not had a chance to say thanks. Thank you Andy. Thank you Ping.
http://cytosorb-therapy.com/the-studies/multicentre-trials/
"CytoSorbents has conducted two multicenter studies with a total of 150 patients for the indications of severe sepsis and septic shock in Europe in order to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of CytoSorb when used continuously up to 24 hours per daily treatment. The company works closely with renowned medical doctors in the field of sepsis research and intensive care. Publication of these studies are planned this year.
In the US, the FDA has approved an IDE application to conduct an initial trial evaluating the intra-operative use of CytoSorb during complex cardiac surgery in several centers. This trial is expected to begin in Spring 2015.
In addition to company-sponsored studies, we are pleased to have more than 40 investigator-initiated studies in process with approximately a dozen trials actively recruiting and the rest in various stages of planning. A number of these are multicenter projects in either the clinical phase or in preparation, such as in the areas of severe pancreatitis and septic shock."
I strongly suggest investors in Cytosorb to do your own DD and not to listen to pumpers and bashers on any board. You need to be an independent thinker.
Pharmeng, the contents Andy has been posting may not all in correlation with your understanding but it may be to someone else. As you just say, not too much crab on this board so you can ignore them. Thx
You guys are overboard. This is still a development company. Andy is just posting the facts. Just don't read it if you don't like it. Isn't that's why this is a message board?
It's seems to start getting better. I expect FDA news by months end, if not beginning of May.
Great find Lwe6638, looking like things are moving along.
I remember that someone already filed a complaint to the SEC in the past. If that's true then the SEC may have an eye on this right now. just that it will take time for them to gather the evidence.
"A private company merging with a corporate shell....". Does ACPL/VTCo or HRDN/VTCo or TLAG/VTCo fit that description???????. The SEC would serve investors well by at least having a look at the activities of VTCo and the three corporate shells mentioned above. The link you provided appears to describe exactly what has happened between VTCo and three shell companies over the past eighteen months. It might be worthwhile bringing this to the attention of the SEC.
Interesting buy today, any news on what's going on?
IMO, sanitizing should be the easy part. The question is if they have sufficient data to prove the effectiveness of the equipment. After two attempts and several years worth, they should have sufficient data to prove the technology works. There could have been a miscommunication. The company cannot afford to fail the third time so they should be well prepared. If the product works and safe to use as claimed, I don't see why FDA cannot approve it. i had the opportunity to buy some of these shares this morning so hopefully I am right. I think I am. So GL to you and the rest of the investors.
Hi 21money21, I am new to this ticker. It sounds like this company has a great product that actually works and has the potential to be a standard of care. After reading several of the PRs regarding the FDA approval, it looks like only reasons for the denial was due to the insufficient cleaning procedure and the requested data, correct? Is that all? That's all the reason for the denied? Thanks
I see that but it's not reflecting on my ETrade account. Wonder what's going on behind the scene.
Not sure if it will do any good for us for taking them to trial. They can blame all to a failure attemp to revive the business.

Your best bet is to start a class action and ban together ASAP.
1000:1 is none sense. This is going to destroy all the longs, basically legally stealing our money.
It sounds like it's going to be a 500:1 RS. The total number of shares will come down to ~512,198 total number of common shares @ 0.05 per share.
Thanks 56kwf. But I don't quite understand that. Is it a 500:1 or 1000:1 RS?
Where did you guys find the filing for the 1000:1 split?
It's really odd that the number constantly swapping back and forth between 0.0001 and 0.0004.
This does not seem like an actual day's gain because my eEtrade still showing 0.0001. Eventhough my stock tracker showing 0.0004, it's not showing any gain for the day. It's either a systemic error or they are playing game with us.
This stock is nuts, wonder what the hell they are doing.
