(“Terra”) was awarded the project to design, program, and implement an IP PBX Voice Communications Platform with an outbound/inbound call center for a leading college recruiting service. The new network will improve the company’s ability to connect prospective students with the colleges and universities of their choice.
The recruiting company helps students evaluate prospective colleges and universities by providing information, guidance, and contact with the institutions that best suit their needs. Because the call center is key to the company’s ability to interface with students, Terra Telecom Inc., an industry leader in enterprise voice and data communications, was an ideal fit to design and implement a state of the art communication call center and IVR.
The current project will network together the main site located in Staten Island, NY with the West Chester, PA, Long Island, NY and Los Angeles, CA sites. Additionally, they will also be replacing a basic hosted SIP based call center with a feature rich customizable call center. The spatially redundant call center, with remote agents served through the wide area network, will utilize a combination of PRI and SIP trunks. Used in concert with the phone system and recording server, the company’s 220 agent call center will now have the tools to connect prospective students efficiently with the company’s customers which include colleges and universities across the country.
With this project approved, plans are in the works to integrate the company’s CRM with the call center. This will greatly enhance the ability to serve students, colleges, and universities by providing the instantaneous information needed for faster, more complete and more cost effective interactions.

Elite Pharmaceuticals and Hi-Tech Pharmacal Sign a Development and Supply Agreement for a Generic Intermediate of a Prescription Product

NORTHVALE, N.J., Jan. 10, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Elite Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ("Elite" or the "Company") (OTCBB:ELTP) and Hi-Tech Pharmacal Co., Inc. ("Hi-Tech) (Nasdaq:HITK) today announced that they have entered into an agreement for Elite to develop for Hi-Tech an intermediate for a generic version of a prescription product for which the branded product had sales in 2010 of over $100 million.
Under the terms of the agreement, Elite will undertake a developmental program for an intermediate product that Hi-Tech shall then incorporate into a final product. Hi-Tech, or its designees, shall be responsible for the filing of the Abbreviated New Drug Application ("ANDA") for the finished product and the ANDA will be filed under the Hi-Tech name. Upon approval of the ANDA, Elite will manufacture the intermediate product. Hi-Tech will manufacture the final product and will be responsible for the marketing and sales of the final product. Hi-Tech will pay Elite milestone payments for the development work. Upon commercialization, Elite will receive payment for the manufacturing of the intermediate product and a percentage of the profits generated from the sale of the product.

SSOL news: Sunvalley Solar Awarded a $663K Solar Installation Contract in Coachella, CA

WALNUT, Calif., Jan. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sunvalley Solar, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SSOL), a leading provider of solar power technology and solar integration systems, announced that it has signed a commercial solar installation contract with Seaview Packing in Coachella, California.
Seaview Ranch, one of the largest kumquat and sweet lime suppliers in the US, has been operated by Ron Jensen and his family since 1983. The ranch, originally owned by a long-since defunct produce company in the Los Angeles Wholesale Produce Market, has a rich farming history with the first kumquat trees being planted in the late 1950's.
Sunvalley was awarded a contract to design and install a solar power system to provide alternative energy to this historical Ranch. The 145.16 Kilowatt solar power system is comprised of 1,528 solar panels from Tianwei Solarfilms and one 100KW plus one 35KW solar inverters from PV Powered with a total contracted value of approximately $663,381. The contract is supported by nearly $318K of solar incentive rebates from the local utility company and about $200K of Federal Tax Cash Grants from the Federal Treasury Department.
The solar system is expected to generate 224,364 Kilowatt hours of electricity annually. During the peak months of May through October the system will generate surplus power and earn credits with Imperial Irrigation District Utility, offsetting the less sunny winter months.
The installation for Seaview Packing Inc. will begin in February of 2011.
