Well said.
>>The companies and individuals listed below do not work with
>>scam companies. They work with Fortune 500 and highly
>>successful companies only.
While they companies and people below are sucessful, saying the work ONLY with fortune 500 or highly sucessful companies is misleading.
1) Catherine Rasenberger - Actually her company only works with small startup companies.
2) Firestone Communications - Again they work primarily with smaller companies.
3) Rubenstein and Associates - Yes the have plenty of top companies and groups in their list of clients, however seeing as My Company worked with them in the past and were were barely able to pay our month to month operating costs, I would say that they do not only use fortune 500 companies as well. As for the level of services recieved, I have no complaints, although I will say "You get what you pay for"
Again, QBID has made a lot of progress since they originally started operations, but they still have a long way to go and there is no way to tell if they will ultimatly succeed. You can have the best ideas, best execution, and the best people working for you and still fail.
I place QTN's chances at about 80% but thats acceptable for me. And I didn't risk anything more than what I can afford to lose.
Anyone here that relies on the "Facts" that get spouted all the time on this board is a fool. Do your own research, come to your own conclusions, and make a choice after that. Remeber that DD means: Due diligence - The process whereby an investor investigates the attractiveness of an opportunity, assesses the quality of the management team, and assesses the key risks associated with and opportunity. Due diligence starts on initial inspection of an opportunity and ends when the investment is in the investee’s bank.
Stop spreading rumors
Whether you want to believe me or not, Q does not have a contract with Comcast. If they did indeed have a contract with Comcast and even if they were really close to signing they would not be in contact with KHCV-TV to do their broadcasting. You don't make programming deals with Small television stations if you have a contract with the big boys.
Also although Rasenberger is very good from all accounts, she has less than a 33% success rate. Out of 24 networks she has tried to launch, only 7 have made it. However I think that Q's programming quality, and the existing contract with RCN will play a big factor in our success, and so I would put Q's chances closer 80%.
I agree she is good, but she needs to come up with a new Tag line:
Better living through TV?
John Reinan, Star Tribune, 7-11-04
"I am convinced that there are very few remaining underserved markets in the cable industry," Rasenberger said, "but there's one major one: the self-help, life-improvement space."
Now a good one about her...

#34 Cathy Rasenberger - "Let's Do Launch"
Resume: President, Rasenberger Media
Why Her? Looking to launch a cable channel? You better have Rasenberger dialed into your Blackberry. Rasenberger has emerged as the go-to person for new networks by negotiating the U.S. launch of seven networks in the past five years (including Trio, Newsworld, Sopresa, TV One, Anime and Blackbelt TV). By the time you read this, Rasenberger expects to participate in three more network launches. The NY-based Rasenberger started her career as an affiliate sales executive with Food Network.
Says Rasenberger, whose onetime client PrideVision never got traction.
Not exactally a winning statement is it? We couldn't succeed with PrideVision, but maybe this time...
My take on it…
Frank and company are releasing these "fluff" PR's in order to keep the PPS down
Once you release a fluff PR saying "we might have a carrier" then you release a solid PR giving details, you can expect that the solid PR will not cause a flux of the PPS since it was expected and likely it was not as good as people are hoping.
It's like when I tell my boss I might finish a project early, and then at the end of the week I tell him I have finished early. He's not impressed, because he expected it.
Now you might wonder why they would want to keep the PPS down?
Potential has a lot of buying power that you can't touch with cash at times.
Example: Frank wants to hire Ellen, but she wants $10,000,000. Frank doesn't have that kind of cash.
But he does have stock, so if he can convince Ellen that his company and therefore his stock have potential value, he might be able to hire her for say 5,000,000 shares of stock. So if he keeps the PPS down, then that "potential" is worth more than it would be if the PPS were higher. This actually happens a lot in developing companies, they keep the PPS down intentionally so they can recruit better people using stock in place of a higher salary.
A real world example is a friend of mine signed with Amazon when it first started up. He was making about $110k a year as a development manager at Microsoft. He took the job at Amazon for $60k plus 100,000 shares of stock. Amazon worked to keep the PPS share low before they made their IPO, because a low PPS share is a powerful bargaining chip.
Just my .02

OwossoBorn, if you can arrange to mail it to me, then I can likely find a permanent home for it. No guarantees though.
No Frank will not be sued.
Why do you people have such a hard time understanding simple concepts.
1. Triangle Multi-Media OWNS QTN
2. QBID stock is stock in Triangle not in QTN
3. Irishbull is right you are not investing in QTN, but he is also wrong, QTN's performance directly affects QBID's PPS as it is owned by Triangle.
4. If Frank sells off QTN, then you PPS in QBID will likely increase, or you will have the option of converting your shares to QTN.
>> sbcroix, the list is for fun, just to see who is on the
>> boards. It is not meant to do anything else. And if you
>> don't like the list I could care less, just don't put your
>> name on it. its that simple.
I didn't put my name on it, I pointed out a way that everyone could make a difference that would not interfere with Frank (as he has said time and time again to quit meddling)
Problem with the list,
Alias's mean nothing to companies. If you really want it you have to use your Real Name. Otherwise what good is it?
For example sign me up with the following Alias's
sbcroix - Comcast, seattle
Qwager - RCN, LA
greenguy - Comcast, Oregon
reggie1 - Comcast, Utah
fireman9 - Charter, CT
cutiepie - Comcast, Seattle
hortence0101 - Comcast, Seattle
meatwad - Time Warner Cable, Ohio
zippo - TW, Hawaii
dudeyouregetting - Comcast, Nevada
adell - Comcast, Boston
frylock - Time Warner Cable, Memphis
You understand? They have no idea who you are? They have no idea if you even exist if you use an Alias.
You want to make a difference, make a sign up sheet where people can use their real name, and circulate it around your local area, Once you get 1000 signatures from current cable subscribers, send it to your local carrier. That will help, but sending a list to Triangle doesn't help them, they already know that you exist.
Here's a nice easy way to look at it.
How much are you willing to spend per share on QBID?
For me, I'm not willing to spend more than .0045 and the current price is starting to reflect my thinking.
IF QBID had more carriers I might be willing to spend more per share
Before you complain about the PPS, ask yourself... Would you be willing to spend .10 or .50?
Jeez... Quit blaming everything on the MM's.
MM's rarely work together, the general scenario is that if you are a huge player and have a lot of size, you can take to the other side, start a move (and lose a few points), then wait for the move and hope the move is continued by other traders, then you then unleash your size. Hopefully the result is that the lower average price you got out on would cover your loss on taking the other side to begin with.
No way is anyone doing this with QBID, too risky.
Everyone should buy GCI since their readership is going to dramitically increase in the next couple of weeks from all the QBID'ers checking for the ad's
Sorry...
I don't mean to sound negative at all. I am a shareholder, I have a lot invested in QBID and I think it will go places, but man some of the things that are said here really are crazy.
There is going to be one key thing: Getting more carriers and then subscribers. To get carriers, Frank and the team need to continue to sell the plan to Carriers. To get Subscribers we need carriers.
I bank at BECU and Boeing banks at BECU, so I guess that means if I try to sell aircraft, Major Airlinea must want to buy aircraft from me!
QBID = Triangle Multi-Media Inc
QTV is a 'Wholly Owned Subsidiary of Triangle Multi-Media Inc"
Triangle Multi-Media Inc could sell off or spin off QTV. And it would be legal, and stock holders in Triangle Multi-Media Inc would benefit from a sale or spin off. However once that happened Shareholders in QBID would gain no further benefits from QTV.
QTV is not QBID, you are purchasing shares in the parent company not in QTV. However while Triangle Multi-Media Inc. owns QTV, you can expect the QTV will affect the PPS of QBID.
Having worked in advertising in the past, I would assume that they would choose to advertise in regional issues of the paper. $1,000,000 sounds like a lot of money, but in advertising it's not that much.
Again, I don't know Venus, but asking clarification from an attorney could happen. And the attorney in question would be able to answer or not answer on a question by question basis.
To Clarify:
1. It's unlikely that their $1,000,000 advertising campaign will be national. That’s like shooting peas at an elephant. The most likely scenario will be to advertise in markets where they already have a presence.
2. Yes there is such thing as attorney / client privilege, However it does not exclude talking about everything, and perhaps QbidVenus only got clarification on some things.
3. If you think anything anyone says on this or any other small time investor boards is going to affect the PPS, then you must be smoking something.
Just Curious... Why QBID?
When I ask why, What I mean is:
What do any of you think distinguished it from Here!Tv Or Logo
What makes you think this is the one?
Not being a nay sayer, I just want to hear reasons others are nterested in QBID.
Thanks.
