Entirely,
In all fairness, I am by far a novice investor with some liquidity to spare you might say. I am also from a foreign country (France, but lived in the USA for the past 17 years) I frequently peruse some French-speaking websites that feature the Hop-On, just as it was featured in Cannes, France earlier. Also, this product has few competitors in countries where people are not culturally oriented towards brand-loyalty, but rather towards cheaper and cheapest ways to live a better life. Cell phones and any other electronics are perceived as a "rich country" item to possess, and countries like India, Brazil, Africa, ...etc where Hop-On has tried to spearhead their product are reportedly buying them much easily. I will try to refer you and the rest of members to this board to foreign sites, mainly chat rooms, where people brag about their Hop-On cell phone as we go along.
That being said, it's a cutthoat market out there, and the wave that might bring any such company to richess, could just as well sink it if it fails to sail right. Now, does Hop-On has the right captain at the helm? Yes, that question has already ben answered by many of your posts, and somewhat I do feel that way. However, there is a market niche for that product, there is a modern-gizmo starving demand, and there are cheap producers all involve directly or indirectly with that company. Let's see what happens in that ocean of fun ups and downs.
Those who have remained with this board has the sealegs for that particular stock. However, your words of caution are well taken and hopefully heeded by those who should not bargain with their life savings.
