WSJ says the company lied to Congress awhile back and has requested bezos testify. they've been frank that in The event he's not willing, they will take appropriate legal action. But surely won't be necessary. The date, I don't know, but relatively soon. Congress is not happy with them, both sides of the aisle. There's a number of other legal problems. Anti-trust laws. Labor laws. Others.
Read about the vice president that abruptly resigned recently. His statement on why he resigned sheds plenty of light.
Wal-Mart , I don't recall their stock being pumped like this has been. Price/book and price/earnings, and other metrics. My personal opinion is there's the appearance of potential stock manipulation on a large scale. I stress opinion, and appearance.
Bezos ain't Walton lol.
Again, just my take, but this is going to crash gradually with a few rough and tumble drops along the way. It's a real shame bc so many people are 'invested' directly or via mutuals. do folks not notice this wasn't moved to the DJIA a long time ago? Why? Read this again and there's the answers. DJ ain't perfect by any means but they don't list tickers like this.
I think it could probably be removed if CEO contacted otcmarkets. I'm not sure how or when it was added. Doesn't bother me but surely does some folks and doesn't look good.
I was glad to see new annual filed with sos.
An otcmarkets update would be great too. Be it company profile, a verified profile, annual, or ta.
Volume weighted average price.
Gives a better idea of 'real' price.
I think they may have called it a passbook! It came with a small rectangular 'book' in a plastic sleeve that I kept in pristine condition and was fascinated by. I got it when I was 6 or 7 I think.
This new account mentioned is surely subject to change but it works for now. they are small but seem to be growing.
It's a good alternative to bank bonuses a few times a year, which pay a good percentage though require leg work.
Haha!! Lol, yes! that was formerly TCEL which was a debacle I got caught up in. Made some on, lost some on. I think was first penny stock I ever bought
But they were a stem cell company back then. And yes I do believe they went bitcoin nowadays. Not sure legitimacy of thiugh, have not owned in long long time. If it's at 8 that's kinda great, it had a long season at 0001 haha.
Wowzers, I did not know that they used to charge percentages.
I would agree on low cost/no cost not being 'good' in the big picture. Things are in constant flux is the only constant.
I remember my first bank account when I was very young, paid a 6% yield on an everyday savings account at a small credit union. Most are less than half a percent now.
I recently found a local credit union that pays 3.5% yield on checking which is fantastic nowadays. There's a few hoops to jump to guarantee the rate but very doable. The best money is fdic insured money made on the money already made!
I absolutely did not, and I don't recommend specific stocks to friends/family. I never owned bitcoin.
I enjoy talking about markets if anyone asks but rarely otherwise. I enjoy talking about mistakes and how/what I learned. I enjoy talking about market mechanics that people generally don't know about because no one ever taught them.
I don't like when people talk about money as if it's for the privileged few. I want everyone to be rich. The best way to do that is to set a good example, refuse to 'not' talk about various financial strategies, and to talk about your own personal journey.
I'm not real familiar with robin hood but imho commission free trading is quite an oxymoron.
In general terms and general times you are absolutely correct.
100% .
This was not general times though.
It is a true shame that 401ks do such a sub par job of educating their partipants. When people don't even know there's a fixed income fund to go into short term as safe haven they've done a great disservice. None of this stuff is rocket science. It is important that people talk openly about money the notion that only a select few "understand" markets is absurd. And damaged people's wealth trajectory.
GM Larry. It was so chilly & frosty outside this morning that I had to find something to get fired up about to warm up!
Alrightee, I've read multiple stories now on Burr and it's all 100% nonsense. Crashes happen after fresh peaks. All the signs were there. The delayed outrage that someone properly read the markets is misplaced nonsense.
As I told my friend, any financial person that was not talking to you in detail about severe risks in the market relative to the Dow chart problem last fall, early in 2020, should not be a financial person.
Arbitrarily blaming one member of Congress for not being personally knowledgeable may 'feel good' to some but it's not an investment strategy.
To understand the crash of 20 you have to understand the pump that proceeded it.
on what date did all of the brokerage houses go "commission free"? Is this what caused the chart problem last Fall?
I know this looks bad to some people but the fact is that the peak was easy to identify and I myself was begging select friends/family who I thought might possibly listen to me to get out of mutuals at this exact same time for a couple weeks. The Feb 14th actually I think was the day I said "I won't be able to tell you again" which I believe was a friday.
The Dow chart had a huge problem last Fall and was easy to see it would correct to that.
Imho this is misdirected nonsense towards him. insider trading is about company specific material information not publicly available. It's not about reading the markets. The chart problem was there for everyone to see. The inflated PEs and inflated book value was There for everyone to see. The tight Bollinger bands and discrepancies between pps and a/d line was There for all to see. A smooth controlled drop to approx 25500 was incredibly evident. And this has nothing to do with virus.
There are plenty of far worse things that could be looked at.
We could completely ban Congress from owning securities I suppose. Which might actually help make congess become more of a temporary custodialship position, which is how it's intended anyway. But so many have made a career of it as a self enriching scheme.
I think will do good someday imo
Patience wins Hulkster
vwap was 000306.
Painted up to 4 with 7500 shares @4
I'm noting that bc I griped about paint down to 2 the other day just being fair
Vwap was 0097
When I last looked today no volume yet & ended up at 194000
Cool
And they filled my 80s
Cool
The ss is better here than the other ticker that has done so well this week. Very happy for folks there though I own no shares there. I've been watching it a couple weeks though and it's doing what I thought it might. Hopefully that ends up happening here but who knows, we will have to wait and see.
Market cap here is so low at 007. At this moment the bid is at 72 and ask at 98.
52 week high is about 3 cents.
3 year high about 4 cents
5 year high about 27 cents
Let's hope it can run towards 5 year

Current market cap is only about 200k at 007 currently
Late afternoon when I looked 70s had been bought out and ask was 0098. Hopefully continues back up.
I do think xnnhq will pan out and make a new 52wk high again. Imo.
Expert is so new I guess that is expected so far.
Maybe it'll start to occasionally happen though in the future.
I'm hopeful EVRN might someday. It was just a cuspid number, then became grey for a bit, then became expert.
Cuspid number is the true dead hotel lol, but sometimes they do escape though evrn is the only one I personally know of. And I have no idea how it happened. Definitely rare, I took it as a great omen at the time.
Unfortunately I initially thought expert was an upgrade though this board has increased my education significantly and it may not be. And I have way too many shares now of that one lol. But who knows....Maybe will pan out.
I kinda want to learn more about that process.
I don't know what percentage is needed to call a meeting or to appoint self to b.o.d.
Still some occasional volume but seems dead.
Makes no sense that they changed name and did rs right around time of bankruptcy if they weren't going to come back active again. But I was not around or following things back then. Seems like a messy history here. Someone should petition for custodian if they are not going to do anything. I don't know exactly that works but could probably be done with a control block of shares. Call a shareholders meeting and see if the principles show up.
Is jrjrq ever going to come back?
Or cvsl I think is the name change they did right before bankruptcy. Can't find any new info. Jrjrq is still trading albeit minimal. https://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/JRJRQ/profile

will be interesting to see where this goes in the coming days.
This has gotten really interesting.
I think all of the experts I have right now are CE.
Not sure how many greys I even have left. Not many. Or none with any sizable holding.
Are people noticing any other cuspids becoming grey/expert? That phenomenon seems really rare. EVRN is the only I've had happen to.
My biggest botch ever, QSIM, is a cuspid. Learned so much from it. Maybe it'll at least show back up on expert. 18 million shares haha.
I think I will start grey shopping. But only non CE, preferably with ta verified. Preferably modest s/s.
GYGC is an interesting one that fits that mold. I sold some 80s today from 57 yesterday, and kept some to see what happens. Would have been cool to get before pink but volume was very minimal.
This is a great board, I enjoy everyone's input and information!
Happy trading.
LOL $2 trade at 358PM to drop it back to 2.
Wow June oil is above $25 now
July just a bit below $27 now
What do people think the odds are of experts moving to pink given this new environment?
The 1 I'm most interested in Seeing this happen Had only been a cuspid number for awhile not long ago, then grey for a bit, Now expert.
18M on 2s bid vs. 3M on 4s ask
I don't normally buy a ticker I haven't watched and know patterns on. There's no patterns here yet lol. so we'll see how it goes! Happy trading.
Good for him for standing up.
Mgmt is toxic.
Huge legal problems in the pipeline.
Stock is pumped.
This could drop substantially over a few weeks. And should.
But not until Bezos dumps a few (or dozen) million shares.
Or did he already a couple weeks ago?
"Go away in May"
Jmho, I don't own any shares and don't own any mutual funds that are bloated with this. This is the shadiest big board ticker around imo.
Happy trading.

Not sure what to make of this one yet but I bought a few 57s.
Not sure but I don't think I've sold anything on expert. I've had a few move from grey to expert recently.
The one I was talking about was EVRN that went from a cuspid number and Zero value for quite awhile, to grey out of the blue and then expert awhile after that. I can say it's easy to buy at 2 usually lately. I've tried for 1s and not had much luck. Nothing may become of it, who knows, I can't find anything else new on it other than TA updates numbers periodically and never changes. I think that's automatic though.
There's a handful of greys/experts I keep an eye on. and I have a few cuspid numbers I would love to see turn up grey or expert like evrn did! I was shocked when that happened.
VONI is an interesting one you mentioned and I'll keep an eye on.
It sounds like this is a very fluid situation with otcmarkets and things will continue to evolve.
Just today I noticed that there's a new tag of "unable to contact" that I've not seen before (listed next to c/e, shell, pink, etc).
Fortunately none I own have it but that's a bad omen imo and maybe will proceed delisting of those.
This is an interesting board, thanks for creating!
I have a ticker that had been delisted for a time, and only showed up as a non tradable cuspid number for probably about a year. I assumed it was completely dead. I have a few others like that.
Then one day it became grey and could trade again though I couldn't find any new info from company.
Awhile after that, it moved to expert, and still is.
I'm hopeful it goes pink someday but who knows. I'm finding it hard to understand the criteria for expert and what it actually means.
I'm some cases expert looks no different than grey and is a dead zone. In other cases it looks like it's a pit stop to becoming pink again.
Thank-you for posting that.
A lot to digest.
Any idea when this would take effect if becomes law rather than proposal?
I think proposal will be modified a bit.
I'm all for removing a certain amount of garbage but great caution should be taken by SEC, as Lazar and others have noted. Otc plays a very important role in the investing world.
I see big board stocks get pumped too, all the time. That is a far greater danger to investors imo due to the dollar volume.
Educated investors are aware of this. They also can discern otc scams vs. something more legitimate. But I see nasdaq tickers and other issues at times clearly behaving the same or worse than some p/d on otc.
The fairly new expert market and the recent increase in listings is a response to this proposal it seems. I do trust otcmarkets to continue working on figuring this out to maintain safe markets with reasonable liquidity.
It's a complicated situation. Aimho. I welcome your insights and thoughts.
Beautiful no-Derby day Derby also means it's safe to plant tomatoes as of today!
"Go away in May" off to a good start. Dow off 2.5%.
TBD but I'm betting on another 7.5-10% next week.
