I don’t think they need shareholder approval. Nice to be able to say in a lawsuit that the shareholders voted for it. Still don’t know who bought the 18 million(wonder what those 18 million are voting?) and we get our proxy materials late. Hmmm.....
Happy Labor Day CRNA. Good luck on your investment. I hope you make a ton of money.
I have a questions for you to ask. Where are the human clinical trials being done? If he doesnt answer id press him if Duke is one of them?
FUD. That’s all it is is FUD
Yes they are. They are licensing their outstanding technology to the top medical device company in the world.
If Titan goes belly up that’s a really dumb purchase then. FUD
Yes he is but not officially until we vote him in.
Yeah the multiport isn’t aesthetically very impressive. When I say single port. I bet at some point down the line, they will get to the point when 2 Single port robots are used instead of multiport arms. Medtronic has been working on their multiport for years. Not sure they will abandon it but we’ll see. It appears that they have an endoluminal in the works from some of the IP and job postings out there. It will be fun to see how it plays out which seems to be happening right now. Finally!
I would say this will probably follow same path as Mazor. Should be a bump from every milestone met and $10 million payment
From the looks of it it seems CE Mark is first. They will mostly be bought by then would be my guess.
I think they will have several robots - Einstein platform Titans single port being one of them.
I couldn’t disagree more. Single port is the future. Just ask Gary Guthart. Sport is done imo. They just need the software installed and some end effector development to move a little further along with Medtronic
Yes it will and so will their single port and endoluminal soft tissue robots
Medtech companies don’t miss any opportunity to brand their products, particularly in areas that have large potential growth. How much did he talk about Hugo(specifically)?
No need to argue fellas. I hold you both in the highest regards. Brilliant
Correct, I inferred that based on doing real homework. why is Covidien working on their end effector patents? Fair question?
That’s because they are working on Medtronics end effectors to use with SPORT two dimes and a nickel
Be careful about who’s spreading lies. You have no idea if it’s separate because it’s redacted in the development and license agreement. What you can very possibly infer is they are not seperate because Covidien is prosecuting Titans end effector patents(that were developed for SPORT).
Good post BK. Titans biggest focus and ours as investors should be the milestones for Medtronic. Forget that half assed milestone chart for sport that hasn’t been updated in forever. The focus is on the Medtronic milestones. My guess is this will be over with the completion of milestone 4. I’m interested to see who they put on the ballot for a board seat(would love to see someone representing the shareholders as they need to have some balance with all this secrecy). Also, what are we voting on? What is David gonna talk about at the virtual AGM? I picture this being the shortest AGM in the company’s history and hearing the “observer” clearing his throat anytime David gets close to revealing anything regarding the robot(that hasn’t already been revealed) and their plans with Medtronic.
It’s all about and has always been about the patents. I find it interesting that there has been quite a few patent issuances over the past 9 days. There also seems to be a keen focus around end effector patents designed for the SPORT robot from a certain medtech company.
He’s a little slow give him time.
Was hoping someone could help me with something. Why does Transenterix have approvals for 4 arms in Europe and they only sought approval for 3 arms for FDA?
The ip that Medtronic is interested in are the patents that they were assigned power of attorney over.
Nice work fellas
Didn’t look at the board until now. Thrilled to see it’s pulling back as it allows me to load more. Pay attention to the tone of the board and then do your own DD. Read the financials. Pay attention to the money, the warrants, the milestones(Medtronic milestones), the amount of money Medtronic is throwing at a company that the market is valuing at a $50 mill + market cap company and then make your decisions regarding your investment. Do you sell, hold or add based on what you find? I’m very interested to see what we are voting on at the meeting and can’t wait for the next $10 million tranche. No reverse split coming in my opinion. Share structure is completely fine and they aren’t going to need to do any more dilutive raises, unless they are VERY strategic.
The other side of the coin is completely unacceptable not to have milestones and costs for so long. This is a developmental company. You aren’t investing based on revenues and projected revenues. Every investor needs to know what the goalposts are for a company like this. He hasn’t provided that and it’s a huge failure of his. I’m not bashing, just is what it is.
That is correct. Saw that late last night. Page 28 of MD and A. Wasn’t in financials. Interesting why they are exercising at different times as it would only cost $350 to exercise that many. Money was already spent. Do we get a board member nomination with a connection to Medtronic?
We don’t know. Haven’t gotten proxy materials yet.
Yes what fly said
Looks like someone only converted 8 million of the prefunded warrants. They decided $350 was too steep a price to convert the remaining prefunded warrants 3.5 million (of the 11.5 million that they had already paid for). The interesting part is by doing that it keeps them at about 19.6% ownership. Now what does that tell you?
Too tall did you invest in TRXC
Don’t want to speak for Rocko but I would love to hear JNJ, ISRG, Stryker, Karl Storz any and all.
Who is Metronic?
Someone didn’t read the terms of the development and license agreement.
2nd Rule: buy TMDI on the dips
Nah. They had their chance to sell it and take it private on the cheap. They could have delisted said the money dried up and easily have done it. They aren’t going to announce a relationship with Medtronic and then do it.
It may be. I don’t know. Would certainly be interesting. Like you said, if one more big company jumps into license it tells you they are onto something. Otherwise, they have probably been working with Medtronic for awhile and they are checking off the internal milestones.
Sorry just replying. I’m not sure tbh. I can’t imagine they would just shelf the entire platform but who knows. Think they might be looking to enhance it.
Blackberry worked great, so did blockbuster.
Since you said speculate I could see another $10 million milestone possibly also rebrandinging a possibility.
