I am sold on the system of 1 percent hydrogen peroxide with ozone as a very effective way to disinfect areas. Two problems I have is the feed back I get from hospitals is the time involved. This procedure definitely takes a lot of time. hospitals don't like that. The log kill that other systems claim , such as UV-C take less time and though the log kill is less, I have not seen studies that show the difference of log kill between the two systems relates to a decrease in HAI,s.
Another point that relates to the business side of the company is the patent that Medizone has for the process of its technology, they talk about prior art in their patent application specifically : US Patent No: 7,407,624 by John Ross Cumberland (now deceased)but held by another company. Medizone briefly speaks about it but nothing more stating that their is not enough information. This patient was issued in 2008, and it describes the same basic process as asepticsure of mixing of hydrogen, and ozone.
If aseptic sure is given the go ahead by the US EPA what you might see is when production starts and sales begin in the USA, what would the Company of the US Patent No: 7,407,624 do ?
Sue Medizone for infringing on their patented process? This has happened to many companys look at Samsung and apple . Would this be a game changer for medizone OOPS! look at the patent application for both systems. See what you think .
