625 million UK pounds is about $820 million USD!! If a test was even $20 that would be 40 million tests...If QMC gets even $0.50 as a bundled QDX Healthid bundle it will be about $20 million in revenue.... nice...

My guess is that SS and company are busy inking contracts and the reactors are churning out QD of various colors...hopefully they can share news soon and get this train rolling again...
Thanks Art... great posts and pictures. To me that would not look like a small sample of green QD... looks more like production quantities??? To me that looks like 300-400 grams @ $150 per gram... so about $50,000 worth of QD. If anyone is wondering how I estimated that I used a basic WAG formula.
I wonder who is receiving that shipment?
WAG= wild ass guess.
Well said Dots. It doesnt get much clearer than that. While us patient long time investors are waiting for a supply contract to be confirmed it would be great if the company could give us more info about QMC in China. Is there a building? Do they have a reactor? Where is it? What else do we know about the development of QD in China. Most of the big OEM's are in Asia and it will make sense to have QD produced in Asia...

• Up list the Company to NASDAQ
It appears the company has met the milestones so far (as far as we know). We need to see the next quarter report next month for confirmed revenue but it is thought that we are selling samples at least. It would be good to also get an update on the QMCA China project. For Q4 it seems they should be able to meet the first 3 points, but at this time it appears that uplisting will likely have to wait until 2017. IMO QMC is looking more positive everyday despite the present SP. I think anyone selling shares now are going to have significant regrets later!!
Don't you think that QMC would want to get the 10Q out early if they have revenue to show? If that is the case I would hope we could get to $0.45 in September and Big E may be the winner... Hope to see another PR soon with updates on our Display partners.
I am with you Qleap! I think we need to get a little nugget to get the board bantering and speculating, cheerleading or even putting their pessimistic opinion forward.
Gotta have some additional PRs to maintain SP while waiting for revenue confirmation (which IMO the company has now).
I would think that they are generating revenues now with the QD they are sending out to Partners.
Quantum Materials has begun shipping additional deliveries of cadmium-free quantum dot samples to its partners and is scheduled to increase shipment quantities as development reaches pre-commercial scale later this year. The Company anticipates that, in conjunction with its partners, commercial quantities of a high performance cadmium-free quantum dot film will be available to display manufacturers in early 2017
As we had debated prior it is very likely that the shipping of QD now is for revenue and not further "free" samples. I suppose we may not have that confirmed until the Q2 report is out... which is likely due mid August. Hopefully the company will be able to reveal further details about their partners, or about the China article, or other news that will be able to sustain the SP until we see revenues confirmed on the next 10Q. I think they are restrained by the many NDA's.
As long as we hear that Nitto is buying our product it doesn't really matter where it ends up! Just confirm sales beyond the initial 225k would get things rolling...
I think the question about Kisco introducing QMC is just one of the outstanding question that we hope to hear about...
Others that I would love to hear about include:
- What was the outcome of product development agreement with Nitto? Are we selling product to ND? If so... can we find out what our QD's are being used for and to supply which OEM's?
- Who is the Leading Display Panel Manufacturer that Quantum Materials has a Joint Development Agreement with?
qmcdots.com/press/press46.php
- What are the details and QMC's interpretation of the Chinese $5 billion Yuan QD development plan?
- When QMC China is up and running next quarter do they have any supply deals confirmed?
I guess I am getting ahead of myself... answers to any of the above questions will be great and I suspect that many of the answers are interrelated. It should be an exciting next few days, weeks and months for QMC and the long term investors!
Great find Jamis! Great news 2 weekends in a row... I think we are finally on the way up!! Hoping we see a PR on this news this week.
Amazing what you can find when you search sites for QMC! Exciting to see this much action on the board on the weekend! Now we just need to wait for some announcements about QMCs relationship with Kisco..
Hopefully soon! This is getting exciting.
They are big... hope QMC outlines what the relationship is... Gotta wonder if they are affiliated with Nitto?

Uniglobe Kisco Inc?
Having a look at the Displayweek.org website I was wondering if QMC had a booth set up. I search for Quantum Materials and this pops up – “Uniglobe Kisco Inc (UKI) in collaboration with its partners are leading suppliers of high level multi functional display and hard coat film products. UKI will introduce a rapid measurement with high accuracy Water Vapor Transmission Rate (WVTR) Analyzer equipment, as well as measurement services for very low WVTR values in the range of 10 -6 gm/m2/day, especially for the OLED display research and development and also manufacturing quality control purposes. UKI also proudly introduces Quantum Materials Corp (QMC), developer of an industry-first continuous-flow manufacturing process for quantum dots and semiconductor nanocrystals. QMC manufactures both cadmium-based and the RoHS compliant cadmium-free quantum dots. QMC’s new high-heat resistant QDXTM Quantum Dots resist degradation and are designed to meet large-scale industry needs for stable and uniform nanocrystals in the display, electronics, and solid-state lighting markets.”
Wow… looks like QMC is affiliated with Uniglobe Kisco?? They area huge company I think based out NYC but huge in Japan…. http://www.uniglobe-kisco.com/ Does anyone know much about Kisco?
So QMC will clearly be well represented at Display Week with Sri and SS and a booth with Kisco! Hoping we hear about this relationship prior to the start of the conference.

Very quiet on the Board today. Feels like the calm before the ....
I think we all will be saying that... but I think we will say it well before September!
Do you think that Nathan Stott would speak on the future of solar and QD if QMC did not have plans in the solar area? The Chinese group are apparently very interested in this application for QD in Asia.
Thanks Trevor. .. nice to see posts based on some facts and not random speculation about the sky falling... last time I checked the leading display manufacturers were not located in the USA... makes sense to produce and market in Asia... IMO
I am with you Solar... gotta think that the company doesnt open up a division in China without a line on significant sales. The Chinese investors are very well connected with business, government and industry. I wouldnt invest 20 million unless I expected 100+ million in sales. I think there is a lot of negotiations going on behind the scenes that hopefully can be shared with shareholders soon. With SS indicating the goal of NASDAQ in 2016 through organic growth, we are in the right place at the right time . $3.00 SP by the end of 2016 would be very sweet! But I wont give my notice at work quite yet!
First dates?? Do you somehow know that QMC has not inked any deals as a result of the NDA's??
Also, I dont recall any QD company announcing a large production deal with any display company. Everything points at QMC having the best product and likely able to produce at the best price. I am sure that everything is pointing at deals, agreements, JV's being announced soon. I think there is going to be a scramble by display companies and others to secure QDs given the growing market and demand. We will get a piece of the pie... and hopefully a large piece! IMO
Do you even own QTMM shares xray? Are you trying to focus on possible negatives to try and manipulate SP? What is your motive? Even if it was only 1000 kg that would be what 1,000,000 grams... at maybe a conservative $100 per gram... we could have sales of $100,000,000 .... not bad. QMC is on the road to greatness...
I think you are likely wrong on both counts. How do you know that QMC has not already penned deals with our existing QD that we have been producing for months? It is likely that with the ramp up of production and staff that deals are to be revealed when allowed based on the NDA's. With the new reactor in place I am sure they are looking at being able to produce product for present and future demand. With all the crumbs we have seen from the company and Clay I would think the next PR would confirm sales... IMO
QMC mentioned in article re: QD security in bank cards...
http://m.rbth.com/science_and_tech/2015/05/26/new_technology_for_bank_card_protection_breakthrough_or_sche_46359.html
Production deals ? I dont think that anyone has announced a deal with quantity amounts included.
Also - it appears that Art & Steve have been leaving a lot of crumbs for us to follow in the areas not related to displays... It appears to me that there has been a lot of relatively new talk about battery and energy storage and biomedical...
"Quantum Materials’ products are the foundation for technologically superior, energy efficient and environmentally sound LCD UHD displays, the next generation of solid-state lighting, solar photovoltaic power applications, advanced battery and energy storage solutions, biotech imaging, and biomedical theranostics.
It is looking like our first announced revenue deal will not be a display deal but likely one of the other QD uses... heres hoping we hear something soon...
In Clay from Torrey Hill's news release to shareholders he stated the following:
250kg is 250,000 grams. With several entrants moving quickly to move into high volume qd production, the current speculation for where pricing of quantum dots will be soon is in the range of between $500 to $1,500 per gram, (one gram is enough material for roughly four 50 inch display panels, so you don't need that much per display, and if you think that sounds expensive, it's really not as the traditional cost of quantum dots has run between $3k and $10k per gram.
So conservatively $500 per gram or about $500 million per ton!
Sorry Hawk... referring to a number of posts vs yours directly... I know you get it!
Do you think that Steve and company would expand production facilities, bring in top scientists (wanting top salaries), and announce that they are now bringing in the reactors to produce 2-4 metric tons of QD's without a good plan as to who is going to buy our tons of dots??? Hello?? Clearly there are a lot of pending deals or not publicized agreements already in place!
2 tons of QD's at say $500/gram is worth what? $1,000,000,000 if my math is correct... sales/contracts/joint ventures will follow... nobody else can supply the volume of QD needed just for the display industry let alone all the other applications... IMO. Deals will be announced when they are allowed to announce them and SP will follow...
If he was smart and bought at $0.12 like many of us he would be telling truths now about QMC! All indicators show that QMC is getting everything in place for a super first quarter of 2015!
Yes I agree... Steve and company have a number of irons in the fire that are likely red hot right now but they are not able to disclose at this time. Crunch, Trev and I (and likely many others) are taking advantage of this dip to get more shares at a great bargain! We should find out a lot in the next quarter!
With so much positive news about QMC - new scientists, expansion of labs, samples with all the big players, great IR company with big investor $$$ ready, multiple markets for our products.... why are people selling shares for less that $0.17?? Insight appreciated.
Great news! Sounds like QMC will be putting a reactor in Bahrain! This should be huge!
