Seriously...It was stated here that Ameritrade won't let you buy. Has that changed? Who are people using to buy this?
Which brokerages are still letting you buy Bork?
Thanks. I did finally get through today. Only left a message, but just happy to have someone answer.
I have been trying all the numbers I have found on the web site (including that one) for the past few days. Those numbers are not working. If anyone gets through on one of them or if anyone has a better number, please let me know.
Anybody have a working phone number for them?
Sorry, I don't think it is us...

As it was explained to me, the idea was that you use kryron on the machinery that makes the basalt fiber. I guess the production of the fiber is severely limited by the need to replace pieces of the machinery often because the fiber is brutal on the metal pieces used in production. So, they thought they could increase production at a lower cost by having the kryron stuff last longer. They said they could produce 12 month’s worth of basalt fiber in 1-2 months because they would not have to halt production so often to replace warn parts.
Don’t know any more than that and I don’t know if this has proven to be true or not.
RE November sell off...I think the Caveat was removed which allowed the old GCPI investors that were holding paper certificates to turn them in to their brokers and sell. Remember, prior to the removal of the caveat, those old time investors were essentially locked out of the spring/summer run up.
Correct. I was told at the ribbon cutting that the plant in Tucson would be primarily used to produce the stuff they mix into the metal to make it an alloy. Additionally, the plant can be used for some production for R and D.
I wish I had more information, but I wasn’t really able to get anyone to commit to anything solid. However, I do have a few more observations…
-I still have concerns about the lack of experience in the management team. It is not like any of them come from a background of running a big company. However, I must say that I was very impressed with their enthusiasm, focus and commitment. Everybody I spoke with from the company conveyed a desire to do whatever needed to be done (including learning on the fly) to get the company going.
-Learning on the fly…One guy (forgot his name) was talking in a group I was in. The group congratulated him on setting up the facility. He said something to the fact that it wasn’t too bad, he just listened to the people who were going to be working in there and did what they said they needed. Then he said, “I just got back from setting up my first foundry. I had never even been in one before, but it really went pretty well.”
-I also came away with the feeling that they are truly genuine in their desire to bring jobs back to this country and to work for a better America. This might sound corny to some, but I think it speaks to the character of the team. JB and company might be rough around the edges, but they started the whole thing with the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer. It is not an act of any kind. They are true blue.
-I am still concerned with the number of shares outstanding. My fears will be greatly assuaged if we get some confirmation in the way of a contract in the electrical application field. In my opinion, that is where the big money could potentially come from. I think the armor has the potential to provide sufficient capital to sustain the company and pay for R & D, but unless we are putting out close 1 million vests a year, I don’t see it generating enough revenue on its own to really drive AND sustain the price levels we are all hoping for. Having said that, just for fun I looked at the price using the suggested 30X value based on the potential vs. TASR. If we use their market cap as a model, then we run to the $175 range before dropping back to the $27 area. I guess I could be happy with that.
Good luck and here’s hoping we do indeed have some big news out before the end of the year!
First - Nice meeting everyone. I'll try to throw some info out. Fire away with questions, it may help my memory...
As I understand it, the facility is not going to be a place where they make large quantities of end products. Rather, it is where they will make the powder that gets mixed into a given metal to make it an alloy. Then they can ship the powder to a location that will be fabricating a given end product. That helps explain why it isn't a big giant manufacturing plant. Additionally, they will be able to use the location for some manufacturing for testing and developing.
There was quite a bit of discussion about a separate manufacturing plant in Tucson that will be working on the armor for the SRATS. They were talking about creating jobs right there and that they would be producing the final product. My impression was that it was a done deal, but I was not able to get a final confirmation.
Spoke with one guy that is working heavily in agriculture side of things. He said they have some products out being tested now. Still in the development phase, but mentioned that some harvesting machinery runs 24 hours a day during peak season and that they often have to change out blades every 36-48 hours. Very excited about kryron blades that will last much longer. He also said that it seems like every time he speaks with new industries about a use for kryron, they give him another one to work on when he leaves. So many avenues to pursue...
Eavesdropping on a conversation about the basalt technology while standing in line for food...The process of making the fiber is brutal on the machinery. Production is limited by the amount of time spent replacing worn parts. By using kryron components in the actual manufacturing machinery, they think they might be able to increase production by a factor of 10-12. "We will be able to make a year's worth of product every month!"
AT, I completely agree that this has more potential than anything else in my portfolio. I also think we will be able to move into the teens and maybe low 20's on a rush for shares if they can show some significant contracts. The relatively low float will help that push. For me $20 per share is a 20 bagger! I will be smiling all the way to the bank! I just don't think we are running into the 40's, 50's...100's. I HOPE WE DO! I don't think the number of shares can support that kind of run.
LIEUTENANT GENERAL JOHN T. "TOM" SHERIDAN?
There were 3 splits for TASR. 3:1, 2:1 and 2:1. So, they had about 5 million shares outstanding in the beginning. That gave them a market cap of about $20mil. We will soon have 300 million shares outstanding and, if we hold this price, a market cap North of $700 million. I hope we get a run, but like lemmings, we will be dropping off a cliff when everyone stops to look at the value of the company and all the restricted shares come off in the next 12-16 months. The trick, as it always is, will be to get out on top of the cliff instead of somewhere on the other side.
This is exactly the point I was making earlier...we need hundreds of millions if not billions in sales annually to support any kind of price above a few dollars.
First let me say that I really like the increased transparency and I like that all the technology will be under one roof. And, I'm all for JB getting paid. But, with 300mil shares outstanding and the BAM deal still to go through AND 5% of GROSS sales going right into his pocket, they are going to have to move hundreds of millions (if not billions) of dollars worth of product every year to sustain any kind of share price after the initial thrill wears off.
So far we are at $6000.00 this year. Only another $999,994,000.00 to go!
I know they are part of the live fire, but it doesn't look like they have a booth. I don't know if they will reach a whole lot of people until the live fire event tomorrow. Might explain the lack of impact on the volume yesterday and this morning?
OK, I'm with you on float, but it still concerns me for the cap. I know it is a start up, but 180 mil is a big number.
BORK lesson: 180 million OUSTANDING
30 million float, 150 million restricted that become unrestricted in February. So, come February 2012 the FLOAT becomes 180 million shares. I don't think anyone will be running to sell all the unrestricted shares, but it has to be factored into the valuation of the company.
Tradertim1 - COMPLETELY agree with your post. As far as shares outstanding, there are 180mil. 150mil of those are held in restricted shares from the reverse merger that brought the JBIT technology (Kryron) on board. Most of those (I have seen 80% but can't verify) are held by Bourque himself. They will be unrestricted in February.

John, with all due respect, the number of shares means everything to everyone. Once the initial excitement about the company wears off(assuming we get to that point with a cert and orders), the number of shares compared to earnings will determine the value of the company and a fair price for the shares. You have said that you think this will be a billion dollar company, well, it already has been. We are a billion dollar company when the share price is $5.55. Another comparison made is to TASR. Given the high number of shares we have outstanding, when we hit $30 per share, we will have matched TASR's high for company value (when it was priced at $100).
I have no problem with JB owning a huge number of shares - it is his product after all - but the giant number of shares outstanding is a very pertinent piece of the puzzle.
On another note, after watching the video again, I too would like clarification on the .50 cal and the Fat Boy.
Finally, I agree with others on this board that we will not be moving up until we get a cert, an order, or off the pink sheet naughty list.
Even at $500/gram, that is only $40 of nanotube material per 10"x12" plate. Hardly cost prohibitive.
You can see the Fat Boy, thin line etc. on the JBIT site.

I am long BORK and all for them hitting a home run, but there are other level IV's out there - hopefully ours is better!
I was only providing a link to a list of all NIJ cert. body armor. There are a few level IV's on the list. I understand the chart, I was just trying to help others on the board by clearing up the thought that aren't any IV's out there.
http://www.justnet.org/pages/BallisticCPL.aspx
The list starting on the bottom of this link has all the body armor and the cert levels. There are a few level IV choices.
Right on the money tomcat!
The sooner we get off the pink sheets the better. A split moves us in the wrong direction.
Completely agree.
The US patent has been issued. The issue date is 1/18/11. The US patent # is 7870866
Go to google patent search - my link didn't work.

Don't know if the link will take you there, but according to the AZ Corp. Comm., Bork is listed as owning greater than 20% of the 10mil shares of JBIT. Additionally, at one point he was the only board member and the CEO. I couldn't find any more details, but it was never a public company.
Correct. It has been issued.
KZ, I am in Tucson this weekend. I drove by the address on E 44th. Is that the correct location? I didn't get a chance to go by on Friday and nobody was around on Saturday.
Thanks!
"The US Army has agreed to provide the funding for all materials for development of the prototypes."
Slightly different version of press release now on the Bourque website...
TUCSON, Ariz. – Bourque Industries, Inc. (OTC:BORK) today announced that the Company has signed a letter of intent with Utah-based Stealth Reconnaissance Assault and Transport Systems, Inc. (SRATS) to jointly develop prototype vehicles for the Army's Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) and Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle programs.
The US Army has agreed to provide the funding for all materials for development of the prototypes.
The JLTV is the successor to the Army's iconic Humvee program, but previous JLTV variants have struggled to adequately address the mounting improvised explosive device (IED) threat in the Afghanistan theater. The Bourque/SRATS vehicle will combine the extreme off-road capability of SRATS vehicles, with the unprecedented protection of Bourque Kryron armor.
The MRAP is a larger, heavier vehicle developed by the Army to counter the IED threat that has been causing high rates of casualties in both Iraq and Afghanistan over the past several years. Unfortunately, current MRAP variants haven't met expectations on performance. The Bourque/SRATS MRAP far outperforms all current variants for both vehicle capability and survivability.
“This joint development project is a major step forward for Bourque Industries, as we're able to combine our revolutionary armor technology with an equally revolutionary vehicle technology from SRATS,” said John M. Bourque, Founder of Bourque Industries and inventor of Kryron. “If we do our job, and I'm sure we will, these vehicles are the future for mounted, armored tactical operations for the US Army.”
Bourque Kryron will redefine ballistic armor technology through broad uses in military and law enforcement applications. It outperforms the current industry standard in every aspect. It stops high-caliber rounds at closer ranges than the competition, and is the only material to reliably stop multiple strikes. It also completely eliminates spall, shatter, and ricochet, and all of this is accomplished with significant weight savings over competing materials. For vehicle armor applications, Kryron provides greatly enhanced protection with significant weight savings over traditional steel-alloy armor.

The SEC has nothing to do with Caveat Emptor. The OTC Markets Group developed the OTC Market Tiers including Caveat Emptor. It is there own classification system.

Any word on how things went today?
Thanks!
Not to nit-pick, but if it is the same as Mesa/El Paso, why is it such a big deal? Don’t get me wrong, I am hoping for good things. Just wondering why this one is a bigger deal?
Thanks!
