Never been more bullish. I found the website update about the same time as you. Harry has finally, through the help of an apparently competent attorney, put everything in writing. It would nice to be the windshield this time and not the fly.
Sweep, in these cases, I believe FINRA/SEC will send a list of questions to Harry regarding the recent announcement and the circumstances surrounding it. Assuming that he answers those questions sufficiently and there is nothing, as we believe, sinister going on, can't we expect trading to resume on December 4th?
Thanks sweep. Your thorough analysis is much appreciated. Pardon my ignorance, but when the trading restriction expires on December 4th, won't the trading go back to normal? Why would Harry have to bother filing anything? The SEC has a job to do and since no one but speculators are trading the stock anyway, why would the company have to bother with filing anything? All the people with real time and money invested in the company still have their restrictions in place. Will not filing a restriction complaint have a long term effect? The people holding the approximately 470 million restricted shares are, I assume, waiting to remove their restrictions until the tests results are published and the registration number is obtained. It is after this happens and the actual ability to market the drug materializes that the true value of this investment may be realized. Will any of this overprotective action by the SEC effect the future trading of the stock, or can IMMB just sit tight and wait for the trading moratorium to expire? If this stock becomes a takeover target of a major pharmaceutical firm, why will it matter what index it is being traded on?
I would continue to trust your sense of smell.
Thoughts from the "dreamer": So the naysayers believe this is a "scam". That would mean that a crook(s) had the foresight to prep the whole thing. He/She/They would have had to enlist the help of at least ten people in California and about 120 Bulgarians. He/She/They would then have to wait five years (or long enough for a world wide epedemic scare like ebola to come along). He/She/They would then have to file a report where they were going into business with someone regarding ebola and simultaneously pay for advertizing with the penny stock pundits. All to do what? Move 40 million shares at a total windfall of approximately 250k USD. I scoff at the whole notion. Sweeptoronto has illustrated that none of the Bulgarians or insiders have even removed the legends from their stock certificates. As long as we are throwing far fetched theories around, I've got one for you. The big drug companies are aware of IMMB testing. They are familiar with, and do business with, both the hospitals and the doctors in Bulgaria where the testing took place. They are most concerned with the drug's effect on Hepatitis C. They are aware that Harry believes he can produce, package, and deliver the drug at about 25% of the cost of the current Hepatitis remedies. This makes dealing with Harry potentially very expensive. Someone noticed that Harry got involved in the Ebola craze and decided to slow him down a little by pointing out to a buddy of his at the SEC that such under financed companies shouldn't be throwing around "buzz"words like ebola. If the test results prove positive, then IMMB will get the registration number to make selling the drug legal in europe. After that there is no telling how high this stock could go. Most likely the big company most effected by by a cheaper solution to Hepatitis C would have to buy them out. The theory here is that the big company already knows this and is making plans if he is unsuccessful. What is more plausible? The "scam" theorists version above or my rose colored glasses, believe in the wonder drug, version. Time will tell. Cheers.
Well said Wildcat18. Fair analysis of most dreamers. In my case A B and to some degree C all apply. I will certainly be one of the last to ever believe this is a scam. The egg will dripping off my face. It certainly didn't start out that way. The drug has been developed, professionally packaged, and administered to test patients. The packaging was done in California with all the literature required to explain both it's uses and application. From testimonials, Hepatitis sufferers seem to be the most helped. While not as sexy as HIV or Ebola, Hepatitis is a monster disease that effects an enormous percentage of the world's population. The depth and level required for this to be a "scam" seems too far fetched. You would need doctors, lab guys, patients, and obviously the top brass all involved. That being said, we will all see how this shakes out after December 4th. The ban will be lifted and the Bulgarian report will be coming shortly after. All I want for Christmas is for the stock to stay low so I can buy more before the inevitable spike. Cheers.
To clarify my last post. Obviously the ebola announcement is what landed IMMB on this restricted list. Perhaps Harry regrets throwing his hat into that ring. The likelihood of IPF having any effect on Ebola is remote. For conspiracy theorists to quickly jump to the "this is a scam" conclusion is understandable but short sighted. You are watching too much TV. You don't take your father's research, litigate to get the exclusive rights, and then spend five years, all your money and borrowing power, to get it tested if you don't believe in the viability of drug. If I am wrong and the tests fail then so be it but the two first hand testimonials that I have heard about the drug have been overwhelmingly positive and I fully anticipate positive test results in the near future.
"Relax" This company's viability depends almost entirely on the outcome of the Bulgarian HIV and Hepatitis tests. If those tests prove unsuccessful, then it's over. The drug(s) were never meant for Ebola and their potential usage against Ebola, while exciting, is a stretch. Everyone is desperate to find a cure for Ebola. It would be inhumane to have a potential "wonder" drug and not at least see if it worked. My guess is that the "buzz" word "Ebola" from the last published announcement is what landed IMMB on this restricted list.
Thank you Sweep. Per usual your analysis seems spot on and is appreciated. My real concern was that someone associated with the Bulgarian trials was removing their legends and selling their stock. From your writeup, you appear confident that that is not the case. Thanks again.
As I understand it there are only 70 million shares that are outstanding and unrestricted. There are another 470 million restricted shares and the company has the ability to issue another 260 million shares. I think your crack about a vacation home is a little misguided if the premise is that the new outstanding shares had anything to do with it. The total number of marketable shares seems to have only risen by 10 million in the last year. Of course that number can change dramatically if more of the restricted shares have their legends removed. Correct me if you think I'm wrong.
Is there any way to determine which party who had restricted shares has now removed the restriction on ten million of them?
Awful quiet here. From my rough math, over the past three weeks about 250k USD has been spent buying(and selling) this stock. Perhaps this was a lot of movement of the same shares or perhaps someone with a lot of shares decided to get all the way out. Hopefully the former. This "greater fool" is holding out and (not so ) patiently waiting for the Bulgarian human test report to come out. If it is positive there is no telling how high this stock can go.
I totally agree. But I am already in sideways. Kind of offputting that whoever is selling just continues to pound it into the ground. I truly hope that by holding out we are the "greater fools".
We are all waiting for the Bulgarian human tests to be reported. The results of these tests will go a long way to determine whether this company is viable or not. Supposedly these tests have been performed and paid for and we are just waiting for the results. How quickly Harry reports the results once he receives them is anybody's guess.
Thank you Sweeptoronto for your last two posts. I just logged back on here to see them. You very clearly relayed what I was trying to explain to Kauihi9. For what it's worth I completely agree with your assessment of the situation and am holding on until the Bulgarian human results report is released. I am guessing that the recent release of information is leading up to some "bigger" news before long.
Harry has been paying for all of these tests by issuing shares of stock.
reread harry's interim report.
Stock is likely staying low because from Harry's last interim report, it shows (rough math) that there are about 750 million restricted shares that will have to be absorbed by the market at some point. Of course a positive human test result allowing for distribution in Europe should be enough for absorption but who knows if we are months or years away from that.
Why do you say "here we go" raiders? The Bulgarian government just resigned which means in all likelihood a temporary government will be put in place Monday and will serve until the next election on October 5th. All that probably means at least another 2 months before the medical report is released. Do you know something else?
correction regarding patients being treated with IMMB drugs
not sure what relevance it has, but there seems to be 30 patients at SHATID, the Sofia hospital for active treatment of infectious disease, and 50 patients at the military medical academy. Not 50 and 50 as I was previously led to believe.
Like a lot of sons of respected fathers, he will have to earn his own stripes. Supposedly his father left him essentially a "golden ticket" and it has been over a decade in development. If this drug actually combats the diseases it is supposed to combat, at a fraction of the price of the current remedies, what is taking so long? Sure the big drug companies will either try to block its progress or buy it to do their own research, but still 10 years is a long time to still be where he is in development. Perhaps Harry is the most patient man in the world and just wants to keep most of the profit to himself and not have an angel investor help him out. Or perhaps the drug doesn't work. Only time will tell.

couldn't get any answers in US, so went to Bulgaria to kick the tires..two hospitals 100 patients...doctors all know who doctor Zhabilov(harry's father) was..they don't respect Harry but respect his fathers science..could get no info on results but tests are ongoing...anybody's guess if results will be good or bad...testimonials from previous private patients in Bulgaria all seem to be positive, have not heard any negative...government in Bulgaria is a joke..the parties are all competing to see who can be the most corrupt while they are in power...for test report to be issued and then sent to EU, government appointed officials must sign off...which in Bulgaria means someone will have to be paid..that could be the holdup..just guessing but perhaps tests are significantly complete and someone is waiting to be paid
Harry's father, deceased, was the real scientist. He founded the drug. He is a legend in Bulgaria. The tests are still on going and are at two hospitals, both in Sofia. The doctor's in Bulgaria doing the tests know whose drugs they are testing. There are 50 patients at each hospital. 100 total. The company is completely broke and needs to wait for the test results come back positive before making next move. Anybody's guess if they come back positive or negative but private testimonials in Bulgaria are very positive. Everything in Bulgaria is delayed due to the state of flux with the government. If report is positive drug(s) can then be sent to euro union for registration number which will allow sale throughout Europe. Just a waiting/guessing game at this point.
As I understand it, the ITV-2 drug has shown to be effective in combating Hepatitis C. The test at the Bulgarian Military hospital was supposed to be focused on exactly this. With world wide over 170 million people currently infected with Hepatitis C and Gilead Sciences charging 1k USD per PILL it would be nice for IMMB to get those Bulgarian test results back so they can tackle some of this market. I'm not sure unit wise how IMMB's 16 unit 2 month cycle compares to Gilead's Sovaldi pill but with Gilead charging so much, if the IMMB drug were even fractionally as effective, there seems like there would a huge amount of room to grab some of the market. Cmon with those results!
I don't think the financing for the uplisting has anything to do with the Bulgarian tests. The value in this company will come from a drug or drugs that are proven effective. From the shareholder update 09/05/2012, the Bulgarian tests were to concentrate on combating Hepatitis C. Then the update in May of 2013 that an agreement had been reached with two Bulgarian hospitals to test ITV-1 against HIV and ITV-2 against Hepatitis C. Fifty patients at each hospital. Immunotech Laboratories BG, which IMMB owns 34% of, was to finance all the testing. It has been over a year. Shouldn't these results be coming soon?
I had been assuming that Blaine's promised investor update was referring to this Bulgarian testing. I hope the delay in his update doesn't mean a negative report. Could it be a financial problem? As I understood it the Bulgarians had agreed to pay the 2 million required for the testing.
What is happening with that Bulgarian medical testing? Supposedly it was agreed to early last year and started testing last September. Shouldn't the results be coming soon? Although Bulgaria is a ridiculously poor country, they are part of the EU and I believe any positive approved test in Bulgaria would allow the drug to be sold anywhere in Europe. Does anyone know when to expect the results?
