I would love to become excited about EEGC the same way I got excited about GLMC over 10 year ago, but I remember when money became available for drilling, one of the first things they did was a 300 for 1 stock split to squeeze out all of the longs who financed the early exploration. If new money does become available, I suspect they would do the same thing again to squeeze out the longs who bought back into EEGC to finance the drilling at Bellevue. If new money is available and EEGC announces a new drilling program, I would wait and see what the company does to the existing stock before I got too excited.
If you are a recent investor, say in one of the last few years, your investment could either go up or down in 2014, however, if you are a long term investor, say from 9 or 10 years ago, your investment can only go up. It's nice to be in a position where your investment can only go up. I would like to wish all EEGC investors a very Happy and Prosperous New Year.
The silence here is deafening.
EEGC must still be alive and kicking otherwise how do you explain why there is always so much activity on this board?
Your right, My mistake. Still it looks like someone was just playing a hunch.
2.5 million shares means transactions amounting to $2500. Not really much to get excited about.
Could this be the company?
Petra Petroleum Inc. is a Canadian-based oil and gas exploration and development company, listed on the Toronto Venture Exchange under the ticker symbol “PTL.” Petra is focusing on both emerging high impact exploration areas and under-explored proven basins of the Europe, Africa and the Middle East region (EAME), where commercially attractive exploration opportunities can still be found at modest entry cost. Such opportunities are being identified using the management team’s broad international petroleum exploration experience as well as leveraging the extensive business networks and contacts of the company’s investors.
The only drilling informaiton I see on the Web Site is the drilling scheduled for 2008. Am I missing something?
Does faith have a time limit? I have been waiting over 10 years.
You must be joking. A total of $44 dollars worth of shares was traded.
If I read this correctly the total amount of dollars traded on EEGC today was $1,720. Is this what you mean by your statement that people are buying up this stock?
It is hard for me to follow whatever it is that is going on with EEGC but it appears that once again we have someone putting up a small sum, $100,000, for an option to try to raise money for drilling. From what I read on this board, it appears that no money for dirilling exist at this time and the only activity is that once again someone is tryng to raise some money. There is also the question that even if money was available, does EEGC still have the right to drill. I have not given up on EEGC and will continue to hold my shares since they are now only worth 6% of what I paid for them so the thought of losing 100% is not that much worse than the 94% I have already lost.
Wht could possibly make this stock trade over one million shares. Does somebody know something? It seems unlikely that with the known information available someone is playing a hunch.
You still have to give Malcolm a "10" for longevity.
If you watched a jugler keep his balls in the air for 30 years, why would you suddenly expect that he would drop them. Malcolm is still around and, until the fat lady sings, there is no reason to suspect that he won't continue to be around. It may all be smoke and mirrors but smoke and mirrors has worked in the past, so why not now?
What kind of investors follow a stock that is finished?
Two things are still true. 1. It has not been proven that there is no oil in Tasmania. 2. To date, the MRT has not rejected Empires request for a lease extension. Until one or both of these two things change, there is still hope.
A relatively small number of shares being dumped for a company that some on this board are sure is now totally worthless. Seems to me these were the same types of posts that appeared the last time the lease came up for renewal. People have been wrong in the past. The truth of the matter is that no one posting on this board knows the real details of what is going on so it is merely their opinions that are being stated. I can't remember anyone on this board ever reporting that the ownership of the property where the drilling was to take place had changed hands. This one fact alone might explain why some of the planned activities did not take place as scheduled. I am sure there are many other factors that none of the shareholders are aware of that are shaping the outcome of this stock. They could be bad or they could be good. Only time will tell.
Apparantly your time is of little value since you spend it on this board claiming you have no interest in this stock. What is your motive?
With a team named the Padres, you wouldn't think they would need to Google a saint, but unless St. Rita can hit, pitch and field, there is not much chance that she can help.
There has never been a question about Malcolm's ability to pull a rabbit out of his hat. The only question is how many rabbits can there be in one tiny lttle hat.
Malcolm is a magician. Anyone who has closely followed his accomplishments over the past 10 years or so would know that. He has managed to keep this company alive in spite of producing no tangible results. And time after time, he has come back to continue the game even though it always looks like he is not going to be able to do it. So to all of you who are predicting his coming failure, I suspect your names will be added to a long list of many who preceded you, who also predicted his failure, only to see him rise again, like a Phosnix from the ashes.
How remote is the Bellevue Site? Why is it that whenever there is a report that activity is going on at the Bellevue Site or at Bronte Park, no one living in that area ever goes there to check it out? I know at one time there were posters on this board that were living in areas not far from the drill site. Now it seems that all of the speculation is coming from people who are a half a world away from where any action may be occurring.
Trading amounting to less than $17,000 is not what could be called an outstanding day. If people believed what was in the PR there would have been a lot more trading. Untill EEGC follows through on at least one of there many claims, this stock will not move up. People keep pointing out many, many thing which EEGC has stated in their PRs for the past several years of which none have ever come to pass. The last time I remember something factual in an EEGC PR was the famous barbeque at the drill site just about the time they shut it down.
How close are we getting to the Tasmanian winter or are we already there?
You wrong. If you walk into a casino and put a bet down on the roulette wheel, you will know within a few minutes whether you have won or lost. With EEGC, the wheel has been spinning for over 10 years and looks as if it might never stop.
Why am I holding my shares? It's just like the lottery. Every day I play the Fantasy Five so each morning when I wake up I tell my self that this is the day when I could possibly win $50,000 which would not make me rich but would allow me to move to a less stressful life. I know it's a gamble but at least it is also a possibility. It's the same thing with EEGC. EEGC would have to go up to about $0.10 for me to get even and up to about $0.50 for me to move to a less stressful life. Or it could move up to several dollars and make me rich. These are all long shots but they are also possibilities.
Anybody who believes that Malcolm is just going to fade away and disappear has not been following this company for the past 10 years. Malcolm has a knack of keeping us believing even when all the facts tell us it isn't so. I think maybe in the back of our minds we all would like to believe that people really do receive visions from God. After all, isn't that what DD stands for; "Divine Data". God works in mysterious ways and so does Malcolm. Anyone who doesn't believe that Malcolm can produce miracles has not watched him keep this company alive on nothing more than hope for many years. Regardless how the EEGC story ends, you have to agree that Malcolm is very good at what he does. I just hope the next rabbit he pulls out of his hat is covered from head to toe with oil.
Drill day sure has gotten the market moving. EEGC is up 25% on about $400 dollars worth of trades. By the way, is this April the 2nd in Tasmania or was it yesterday? In any case, can anynone out there hear the drills turning?
How will we know if a drill rig is being set up at Bellevue? You will receive and invitation to a barbeque.
Your right. Only one person paniced. As long as its only one or two people I don't think we have to worry. When everyone starts to jump the ship we will know that we are sinking. Unless that one person who sold was Malcolm, I am not too concerned.
One person selling $4900 worth of stock is hardly what appears to be panic selling. When I see 50 people selling I will call that panic selling.
Your wrong. EEGC has been putting out fluff PRs for at least 10 years. They can continue to do this for as long as they can keep the company afloat. It hasn't caught up with them yet. Sooner or later you would expect something to happen.
This stock is like watching paint dry. You keep watching and watching and finally decide that it must be done so you poke it with your finger. Then you find out it's still drying. So you watch again and wait and then poke it again and you find out it's still not done. Eventially this stock will be done one way or the other but it sure is taking a long time for anything to happen.
If nothing else, EEGC has put new life into this board which was practically dormant for many, many months.

Is this the same JK who on the 10th of this month made the following post?
"absolutely NO BUYERS! what a TURD! careful with this pos!
one day 4 bigdogz invest the next day they leave town for good!"
Wishing everyone, including the bashers, a very happy and prosperous new year. This will be a year where we can all look forward and see wonderful things unfolding.
At this time of the year I am not surprised to find that some on this board are singing their appropriate theme song "Bashing Through the Snow". In any event, I would like to take this oppotunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and, for those of us who have hung in there with FCPG, a most propersous coming new year.
We will know that the rig is there when they announce the next barbeque.
