Anyhow Sigma has to reduce cost dramatically and immediately...
Did Sigma Management asked the Trump Admin for financial support during the crisis?
Good news as travel cost reduced to 0$...
BTW:
during 2003 SARS outbreak was limited to China and Hongkong
and now in 2020 Covid 19 spreads to the whole world
may be the improved virus was designed more aggressively and now more deadly than expected?
Silversmith,
>>>I disagree kanya. SGLB's blind luck timing was very fortunate. They are solidly above NASDAQ listing hurdles, even with more selling pressure. And they are likely financed enough to get them to sales revenue streams for a while. They likely wouldn't get a finance deal now, and they would be buried deep with the NASDAQ listing requirements. I think it was very fortunate they did it all when they did.
All the best,
Silversmith <<<
may be you are right, I was working in China in 2003 in China during SARS outbreak and 3 months in quarantine.
The Covid 19 in the USA and EU is similar regarding to timing, so we can expect that the situation will be back to normal in June 2020.
The good thing is we do not see any real sell off,
just a 10% decline in PPS value in slow motion on a daily basis,
it reminds me on the actual Covid 19 outbreak in EU and in the USA...
Paulee,
>>>what event happens on 27th <<<
the shareholder meeting

>>>We are in a downfall with the rest of the market!!! Look at the Dow, down 2250 and trading stopped!!

timing of the stock split and next weeks activities may be not so good...
Next week will be a busy week with 24. and 27.March events.
outlook2020,
may be too early, markets are in free fall...
>>>Looks like you could have gotten your shares. (Some shares anyways) GLTA <<<
>>>I think that might be the most ridiculous thing I have said on this board. I have always commented on what is intended or could be. If not, there would be no comments on this board. <<<
Your President just enforced the fight against EU people, good luck to America.
Windbag1014,
>>>Would you agree that the last six years have produced $0.00 in sales through Materialise? Intended or not. I can only comment on what is, not what is intended or could be.<<<
agreed
Windbag1014,
>>> The agreement sets forth the parties' intent to collaborate technically and commercially in the integration, production and marketing of PrintRite3D® software-related products for metal-based additive manufacturing.
Do you agree that the word intent sounds a little different to the recent PR?
Windbag1014,
>>>What was the result when Sigma signed with them in 2014? Stupid is as stupid does. <<<
2014 was a sales agreement?
johnny canuck,
>>>AND, no word on the value of the contract. As, if PR3D is an OPTION, then how many will be bought? 1, 100, 1000. No one knows. And for those who seem to allude in their posts that PR3d, will be retrofitted in to "all" of MAT's. systems is doing no one a service. Sigma is very vague on their pr's. Look, i believe in the product. BUT, I don't believe Sigma's Mgt. has the "right stuff" to pull it off. I also contend that approval to raise the AS will lead to another RS if the SP drops again. Rinse and repeat. Just my opinion, and in all reality, I hope I'm wrong. <<<
I just recall your summary: the PR was very negative without any facts, is this correct?
ok that is your opinion...
Herringaid,
>>>It’s not selling. Is that because it’s working? <<<
yes it was not selling for some reasons and Ruport told us last week it will be in Q1 2020, so lets see...
and why do you think Materialise would sign a sales agreement if this software is not working, do you think Materialise Engineers are stupide?
Herringaid,
and it is working...
in hundreds of existing machines soon...
>>>Not when it comes to Sigma. My guess is it's an option and just like we're supposedly an option in a Metalfab1 printer, nobody wants that option. It's no bueno.<<<
Sigma Labs signs new contracts with Northwestern University, Materialise
https://3dprintingindustry.com/news/sigma-labs-signs-new-contracts-northwestern-university-materialise-168898/
The MCP is an embedded hardware and software tool designed to give full control of the additive manufacturing process to the end-user. PrintRite3D has already been integrated with the MCP so the two companies are now poised to retrofit existing metal AM machines with the closed-loop control system.
TedJ,, 100% agreed!
>>>"Why was yes better for your financial interests?"
Because I would prefer to make money on my SGLB shares. Voting no may let some people express their emotions, but it is not in the best interest of the company. If the increase is not approved, then Sigma will be hurt financially as described in the Proxy. The financing was necessary and reduces my upside somewhat, but better than crashing. <<<
and thanks a lot for your very good contribution to our board!

Sigma Labs a potential winner during those supply chain disruptions...
wickw50,
>>>ViperSteve, A reverse split of the common shares does not require a corresponding and equal reduction in the authorized shares. A reduction in the authorized shares is a separate action. Why management would reduce the authorized shares only to raise them the next day is an unnecessary action.<<<
not correct, with the split everything is adjusted according to the split.
Windbag1014,
>>>Don't you think folks will have questions when you put up the price targets that you do? When claims are made that seem outlandish or are pure bs, the curious among us want to either find out where that conclusion came from or call bs. I don't take what is said on this board or what comes out of Sigma management without a high degree of suspicion. The boy has had a long history of crying wolf. Putting up crazy speculation without backup used to work here. It doesn't any more. At least for me
good luck to you and may be nobody will ask you something again...
you can continue to walk alone...
The MCP is an embedded hardware and software solution that addresses the growing need for broader and more straightforward control over the additive manufacturing process by giving full control to the end-user. The companies have achieved the integration and are now positioned to offer a unique product solution for retrofit of existing machines, OEM machine integration and closed loop control.
Revenue 2nd half of 2020 according to Ruports Presentation...
Ruport will show us the money (revenue) next days...
ViperSteve,
>>>I'd be pretty happy if GE had PR3D inside. It honestly annoys me every time I see there name in a slide deck and were not working together. Maybe we are and thats why they keep them in it.<<<
Ruport communicate a clear Mission Statement in his last Presentation...
To accelerate the adoption of Additive Manufacturing by becoming the de facto standard for 3rd party, in-process Quality Assurance monitoring systems for the production of mission critical parts.
Windbag1014,
>>>You mean them saying there will be revenue? Is that like the path to break even?
What specifically is changing dramatically and quickly? What in the real world?
Just follow up....
Great advice. Maybe one day Sigma will follow that advice.
Confused? What am I confused about Kanya?
Frustrated? Guilty. <<<
Posting questions is always a good strategy...
RFB,
>>>You got a wee bit of a gap in your prices...
I see both sides of the fence here. Agree, it is nice to see in writing, but also agree, this is another beta/R&D effort. Will it bear fruit in the end, we will see on the earning call/report.
Best of luck to you longs!! <<<
I am surprised of your moderate comment...
It is still time to buy some shares...
As soon as Sigma Labs starts to generate revenues as mentioned or forecast by Ruport the PPS will jump to 100 to 1000$...
SittinPlush,
>>>'Commercialized Integration to Enable Closed Loop Control'
This was on the top of this morning's announcement. I'm surprised this has not received more attention.
No terms disclosed, and the term 'beta'. I imagine these are the reasons the stock has not taken off. Any solid announcement with Materalise was supposed to be a catalyst? <<<
Many posters just continue not to except significant improvements with the recent change of leadership and the related change to focus on market domination and significant revenue increase generation.
Windbag1014,
>>>What Kanya? What specifically is different? What can we expect will result from the most recent agreement? This is another in the long list of hopeful announcements from Sigma going back years that have yet to come to fruition. What is this something that you speak of? Is it because someone different is saying it? If this is the moment the leopard changes its spots, that is great. Until then I will treat it like the long line of bullshit I have seen in the past. You know bullshit right Kanya? I imagine there is a word for it in German, Thai and Chinese. It is the repeated statement that something is so even when you know it's not. <<<
I believe that you are confused and frustrated with the recent PR's (some years ago).
Things are changing now dramatically and quick, just follow up the development and especially the revenue development of Sigma Labs this year!
alanthill,
>>>Kanya: I would suggest you read it once again. Carefully. Note that it states that this is a beta customer commercialization product. i.e. still in testing, which means it will not generate any revenue. Think about what Sigma's record has been thus far with their "beta products": Zero sales in ten years. I wouldn't get excited yet.<<<
Did you read my post some hours ago?
Ruport said: revenues from OEM's (SW and HW) will be generated in 2nd quarter of 2020, believe it or not...
and please be correct real beta customers we had since last summer...
Windbag1014,
something is different this time just read the PR...
>>>What is different this time? How many announcements with Materialise are we on? What results can we hang our hat on from previous agreements? How many years ago was the first announcement? Again, what should we expect from this announcement with Materialise that is different than all the others? <<<
and I understand that you like long walks...me too...
Paullee,
Ruport is starting to execute...
>>>Looks like the log jam has just been broken

soggydollars,
isn't a nice machine from a leading AM OEM?
>>>My guess is dmg have nothing to do with this. Just a coincidence that that is the machine that northwestern has<<<
And now Sigma is inside that nice machine, nothing to do with DMG?
The DMG MORI LASERTEC 12 SLM machine, is yet another new platform for Sigma Labs, further proving out PrintRite3D's position as the agnostic in process quality system that can be deployed on all major laser powderbed brands and is setting the standard for third party independent quality assurance monitoring of metal additive manufacturing systems.
"We are honored to have the opportunity to work with Northwestern University," said Mark Ruport, Executive Chairman of Sigma Labs. "This type of collaboration is critical if additive manufacturing is to realize its potential and reach full industrialization."
