I'll disagree. 30-50 per share based on ability to execute.
I'll play.
130K. May add more after meeting.
No warrants.
Always long.
If interest takes off, no offering of shares will be needed. If milestones are not met, then some sort of financing will be needed.
It may take someone actually putting fingerprints on it in the clinical trials.
Maybe they are one in the same.
So I'm not the only one to pick up on that.
You would hope that Titan would say something to dispel that article. 2025? Really? Come on. It sounds as if they are pumping TRXC and trying to get in on Titan at a lower number. Titan will hit a lot sooner than those projections and will also be bought well before its maturity in the market place.
Go away. Stop . You are truly an idiot.
Here's a conspiracy theory. Perhaps they let the warrants expire, then offer up another round of financing by a perspective buyer or very big friends with deep pockets.
?????
Thoughts?
Interesting analysis. What is the buyout number? Keep in mind, 100 mil outstanding with another 40 mil in warrants.
I couldn't agree more. They don't build, they buy then screw it up more times than none. JNJ is too conservative to take on such a costly project. Titan is in the drivers seat. This may take 3-5 years before we truly appreciate the true value. On the other hand, If they sell early, I think 20-30 is reasonable, however disappointing.
Well, did you know that Pinocchio is a really bad motivational speaker? MDT/ COV now do in excess of 26 billion annually. If COV was looking at robotics, MDT definitely knows and sees the synergy. That being said, it could account for the ridiculous price tag MDT paid. Even after the administration tried to thwart any inversions from taking place. MDT paid close to an additional 6 billion for that deal.
Certainly makes you think.
Seeing how that Covidien was purchased for 49 billion, Medtronic would be the one making that call. MDT is also sitting on 20 billion cash over seas.
Certainly possible.
I think $3.00 a share is very plausible. Built units and starting the process will help immensely. I also would not be surprised to see higher if they actually execute.
OK, I would like to kick the tires. I don't mean to be negative, however, we get good news then we tend to go silent forever. Let me see it. It is a long time until the next planned milestone. Any thoughts on what this will do tomorrow or over the next 6 months? I have a lot of shares and almost added more over the last few days. My gut tells me I should have bought more, but I feel there will still be an opportunity to get in based on the ups and downs.
Thanks for taking the time to look at that closely.
I got a phone call from the TRXC board. They are missing their village idiot and asked for him back. Please go back LTG, I'm sure we can find a flight 'attendant' to buckle you in safely for the long sad ride back.
Leerink, isn't that a lawn and garden show?
You are correct. I was thinking of myself changing places frequently. All good. I have had several 401K's that I have rolled over.
Titan looks to be continuing its upward momentum today.
A company 401K may be restrictive. You could roll it directly into an established IRA account and then trade as freely as you choose.
I think a combination of anticipated good news and people buying back in who sold off late December. 30 days have passed and I think they got back in to ride the next bump up.
Customer comes first. Company second. When you lose sight of that bad things happen. Best thing to happen to her was get some distance between ISRG and herself.
Good things happen to good people. She'll reappear somewhere and be successful. Short term gain and glory or long term gain and success. Never sell your soul. You guys know the good from the bad. Hopefully Titan will embrace this.
I like your enthusiasm. Ill take it if you are half right. However, if they execute, LONG TERM 100PPS with all 140mil outstanding shares (exercised warrants) is not out of the question. Look at the point made by GT regarding ISRG and where they are valued. Who's to say Titan can't become the leader in a growing market segment.
Nicely said. For the record, I was using New York as one example of states that would enforce a non compete. I agree with your assessment. I also believe there are some well respected ISRG reps out there who still have a stellar reputation and probably left (pushed out possibly) when asked to compromise that customer trust for the good of the company. Those along with good laparoscopic reps in general would be a good fit with very little time needed to get them up to speed.
Looking forward to our upcoming milestone.
Respectfully , I have also dealt directly with non competes. Each state is different. California is a right to work state. New York could and would enforce a non compete if a company wished to. I also have a litigator in the family with extensive experience at this. I hope as you do, that when the time comes there will be no issues. Go Titan .
I am sure there are enough ex reps who have expired non competes that would just love to walk into there old territories. I know some people in industry will switch territories and do so if the company feels they are very strong. After the year expires they may switch back. However, I believe Titan will look for a person who would make the biggest impact quickly. Using reps from that industry seems to make the best possible sense going forward. JH and company need to put their foot on the pedal and blow thru these milestones.
As long as a previously ISRG employee does not solicit someone to leave while they are employed at ISRG there is not an issue. The big concern is waiting out the one year non compete. Typically one year is the industry standard.. Hargrove coming from JNJ will fully understand this.

It would be relatively easy for Titan to assemble a sales force of ex ISRG reps as there are a lot of disgruntled employees out there. Sitting out until your non compete expires should not be a problem for the successful ones. I see a distributorship in Europe and a full blown sales team eventually in the USA based on there added indications and potential. Just rock it for a short while with sales and sell to the highest bidder. I believe Titan has either seen the bottom with PPS share. If not we are awfully close to it. Be patient everyone. This may take a little time, but when it gets rolling, it won't stop.
There is a non compete in play here. Generally in the device field it is one year. More than likely , these are people who have experience and have left ISRG. I would not read anything into it other than you have 31 persons that believe Titan has a future. They are getting their name on a list so as to when this takes off they are in a position to be considered. Perfect timing to hire for a start up is approximately 3 months to approval with a small diverse group of sales people stratigically spaced throughout the country.
Good question and great positive response. Lets keep it up, I believe early February there will be positive news.
I second that thought.
Ill say it. I think a good pair of chopsticks would work better.
Come on. That is pretty funny.
Just think if they finish the prototype and show case it with an updated timeline in the first quarter next year.
How do you propose to respond to that and what do you think and how will your peers respond?
Any other input is appreciated.
Early first quarter could be January. I may be optimistic, but selling now with the potential of positive news early on could be problematic for some. I hope the selling is done and people start adding in January expecting positive news.
I think people are still selling off losses to offset any gains they may have. I would caution selling late in December due to the 30 day rule of not being able to buy back without any tax consequences. If news comes out in the middle of December and the pps starts to climb, people are going to be upset for not holding. If news does come early, this stock will move. It is way oversold.
Get these guys out of New York.
I would tend to agree with you. They have a lot of cash right now. Maybe enough to get to market. They need to up list, then the warrants will exercise and fund them fully. It is too early to ask for more cash considering the two rounds they previously asked for and; that their new timeline suggests they have the capital to execute.
