An RS taking this to .50 would be unlike anything I've ever seen. Would he really be able to do that? I can't imaging being long on this and NOT selling out BEFORE
a split like that.
Thinking the same thing
and in that case, I would gladly be very wrong in my prediction. I hope we're all still here and ecob goes on a tear. I'll be happy to hold a few hundred thousand shares...and kicking myself for not holding 5 million...but that's OK
I agree that it's a flipper's paradise. Nothing wrong with that at all. You're making better profit than I am for sure. I've made 13% on my best trade. I do think one has to be very careful in gaining share of an unpredictable security, as is ecob. I refuse to get greedy on this stock as it is so volatile and at some point, the volume will disappear.
Both trades made $ on fluff? Am I right?
That's awesome! Saying whether you should stop there or keep flipping..not my call. What I do know is that I have an amount in mind to play with, I'm not investing. If I lose it--goodbye! If I gain share on that amount, fine. Profits, if any, all towards something worth investing in. I don't want to be the proud owner of 5 million shares of ecob at .0001 right before it goes##
And.. with all due respect.. if I knew what you'll know about charting and technicals, I'd be damned if I'd be messing with ecob.
Oh - the humor of these posts on my days off. Hilarious! I can't even understand some of the TA. Flipper, I am. Do appreciate The input of all, but to talk of moving averages and it's crossed this and that and sma and Boll bands on a stock that's trading at this level....Lmao too. I understand debt and fluff. This does move on fluff, always has.
Still primed??? I'm ready for that
Hope the big buyers take the time to smell the shorts of the longs.
Yeah- Well I missed doing some laundry today. Almost chased it this morning. I know you are spot on and read the reports and watched the video last night. What do you know about John and Paul? Established 2013?? Are these guys old friends of Steve or what?
IMO, the flippers in the past months trading range are bored with the range. People in at at a more expensive level are sitting and praying for more. I agree that low volume for a few days isn't the end all. But it could be of significance if it continues.
Hmmmm- Flippers dream ---I'd be afraid at this juncture to hold volumes of this. Could be a bad day or the first of much of the same for ecob. Might have to write a Dear John letter.
Never been in too deep with ecob. I would love to see it fly... flipping it has been fun. It's a little dicey now. Volume has definitely been a huge factor for me. I don't want to get stuck holding 5 million shares of nothing. I'm hopeful that new ownership can salvage what's left of this, but honestly agree with most here. Flippers dream, investors nightmare.
Sarcasm---Sorry BB
I'm setting this run out , if it is indeed a run according to some. I think it's setting up for a new low. Might be missing out on something, but playing it safe for now. There are cheaper shares to come in the next few days, if not weeks. Nice volume though and that means there's still interest.
Steve beat on doors bearing gifts not taking money.
I simply state what I would be doing. Home Depot is not the end all IMO. Like I said --feel sorry for people that are stuck on this security. It really has taken a digger. Responsible traders, flippers included, have an entry and exit planned. I've found it helpfull to never, no matter how much hype--to ever dive into the water. Always reserve an amount , if nothing else, gain share, on a downswing two times and if the security continues South. Bye bye
Thank You BB.As for calculating that one. No Thanx. I wouldn't want to calculate the INTEREST on the unpaid relative to pails of red. All I know is that if I were a true investor, I'd trade my way out of this hot mess maybe not for a profit, but for less loss and I'd be onto a security with a better balance sheet and EARNINGS w/div and I'd forget I ever uttered the words ecob.
My reason for citing 09----anyone who has sat and watched their investment go South has a responsibilty too. Do I fell badly for the people who have lost huge on this security. You bet! I'm not willing to say that Conboy alone, is the reason their money is lost. The chart, even to a novice like I am, says it all.The reason I cited the dates ---this was a trainwreck from the word buy! Steve hasn't, to my knowledge, beat on a door of any investor, armed or otherwise, to TAKE anyone's money.Nor do I believe that the paint will keep a house from burning to the ground in a raging forest fire.Slow it down yes. Does a fire alarm installed in your home get you physically out of your house?
and look at that chart. Missed opportunity as I'm all but sold out.
I would take the same. I agree that a good heart CAN and does get in the way. Agreed also, it's quicksand, but to the point of no return? That remains to be seen. I've read these forecasts of dilution happening now. Where? Speaking of which, who are these lenders of this very expensive money and a return of almost worthless share. There is value somewhere here. You don't see it, I don't see it, but somebody else does. I refuse to throw the baby out with the bath on this one just yet.
I agree with you with the exception of the good heart/ good brain. Ideally yes. But there have been those with an inventive spirit that can come up with a plan but fall short to execute things in the correct manner and measure. I believe Steve is one of these people. This security would be far better off with a CFO in place and YES, Steve should take a paycut. Do I believe he is a crook of sorts and has deliberately scammed investors? No.
Hyperbole and rhetoric. The facts as I see them. Anyone on this board had interest, if not full blown faith to some extent in the product (red sauce) as it's commonly referred . The chart-- April of 09 @ 1.25. Sept 09@ .28-.33 range. So, new investers got scalped from the get go. Oh---then a little run up to 1.13 in Jan 10---lookin good. That IMO is where original investors said " I gotta buy more---oooooh 10 months later---.048, not .48 .048. Now let me ask this WHEN fellow ecob lovers and haters has ecob had a stellar balance sheet and solid earnings? The chart looks like a ski slope with a couple of trees. In a flipper's world it's nice to hit a few trees.Investors, not so much. Steve needs a CFO. You're all crying that he doesn't deserve his 300,000 a yr salary. Oh Gosh, he hired a CFO. How much is he paying that guy?I wish he would. I like the product.I'd like to invest in the product not just flip. Can't do it with a chart like that. I'd have been out as an original investor at about .90 I like the Home Depot connection. From what I read, the guy has a heart. I don't believe he's deliberately scamming anyone. He needs controlled spending and he can handle his own PR. Filling ??100 plus stores with product and borrowing expensive funds is his downfall. Too big--too fast.
Bagholders signed up to be just that at some point in time. It's knowing when to set the bag down.
Where in my post do I claim big bucks? If I make 50 on this thing it's still profit. Maybe some of you think that's ridiculous. Fine with me. I don't get greedy and I don't get stuck to the point of NO RETURN
That a way!!
50% of nothing IS nothing
Sounds like plan
Ecob is a dead bug people. Splattered on the windshield like a thousand and thousands before. Anyone investing in this at this stage has lost their tail on this and can't get over it. Flip friendly--yes
My bad using the dead bug analogy Dead bug= any pink If this picture is so dismal, selling is an option. If all DD points to this stock becoming what I refer to as a dead bug. Why watch? Pump and dump, toxic convertibles, a know nothing CEO with massive amounts of debt--but Ecob has your attn. Why? Making money is why. That's why we are all here.
So, if I'm to understand your post, you agree with so many here that this stock is absolute failure as an investment. In all honesty, I appreciate this forum, the links shared and the opinions of the variety of people who are interested in Ecob for whatever reason. I've traded now for 5 years, not long by some standards. I am baffled that there is so much DD done on a stock like this. It's like performing an autopsy on a bug that hit a windshield. It's pink and crazy and a flippers dream and it's not dead yet. Simple.
Should prove to be an interesting trading day.
I agree with you. Optimism, on my part. I absolutely love trading this thing. Volatility, volume and news....what more can you ask for in a pink.
I don't know whether I understand your post or not. New management would or could save ecob? Can it be saved? Is there anyone out there who would even take it over? I think sentiments on this stock are relative to how much one has made or lost. There are still believers out there and if I understand your posts--they are dreamers. I don't care whether I have shares of ecob short term or long. I never get into a pink long. This stock, from the on-set, Had potential. In my mind, it's the new and improved treated lumber. I am just as happy for the down days as the ups. I got in May of 13 and took a few on the chin---6 clicks and I'll be smiling.
There are few things that would help this stock along. Building code enforcement, additional retailers and a true test being fire,H2O and bugs. I'll go long if it ever hits a quarter again. Lovin the volume and the ups and downs.
Same happened to me at .0019
Make a prediction Black Beerd. How high is she going before this ship sinks?
Had high hopes on this stock. Feel as though I will be trading out of it for a while.
