Here is a link that shows pictures of a few nevada applicants on the last day. No one I recognize, but I don't know all the players.

Upcoming industry milestones...
http://www.vox.com/2014/7/23/5929817/medical-marijuana-legalization-2014
My guess was 4.25 - 4.5
That's pretty much what I had figured across the board too. You always have such informative posts I thought maybe your DD might have came across something. thx by the way.
About crossing the green line...
Will trtc touch the plant if the upcoming Senate vote follows the House's lead and defunds the dea raids and decides to respect states rights? or does the fed gov have to actually legalize before we grow? Also, are the "hit piece" authors still being investigated? Just a few things I'm curious about, maybe your friend knows?
Tough call I'm thinking another 10%+ tomorrow. I might hold on and see what happens @ open. Paying close attention to both.
The whole mj index has been on a serious decline all month. Trtc has held up better than most. I wouldn't mind if it stayed where it's at or falls a little further in the next few days to tell the truth I have another stock that's up over 40% today. I'm debating whether or not to take profits and pick up more trtc.
Power hour coming up. would be nice to close green.
A little over an hour ago one of those less than respectable news websites released another misleading article with the same 'ole tired garb. I am not gonna provide the link 'cause I don't want to add to the # of hits they get for publishing misleading garbage.
Do you know when the next election is?
Bounce!
You're right. trtc does deserve more. We deserve a better basher. One who doesn't post the same ole tired garb that can easily be thwarted with a quick copy/paste. I realize you all have a job to do and it's a tough job at that. It can't be easy trying to tear down a company that has positioned itself through hard work and determination to be the leader in a huge emerging industry. Might I suggest if you were to get fired for lack of results, take the severance pay and buy trtc stock.
Absolutely it did. It is my understanding we missed going through on the first round by one vote. The hit piece and all the personal emails to the committee at the last minute sent many investors into panic mode and the stock plummeted. If just one committee member got cold feet and changed their vote, which I whole heart-ably believe they did, then yes one person absolutely prevented trtc from a disp permit.
I don't believe one person was behind the emails and the hit piece. These type of people seem to work in groups and with so much at stake I believe a group was definitely behind the blatant attack and another group put them up to it.
jmho
They can't grow legally period. With or without a license mj is illegal. The only place I know of in US that can grow legally is the gov program in Mississippi. Everywhere else and everyone who is touching the plant in any way is breaking fed law and is at risk of being busted, loosing all their assets and being tossed in federal penitentiary.
If the Senate follows the House's lead to defund the DEA raids it will significantly reduce the risk of being "taken down" by the gov, legal or not.
I can't seem to find an exact date for a Senate vote, if anyone knows please post.
The vote might come at their leisure, meaning, once they've heard every possible piece of info and raised enough funds and made enough backroom deals and "politic'd" this thing to death they will call for a vote.
I hope not, I remember someone saying the vote will come soon, possible before the finances are released. I have been unable to verify with fact, only rumors.
It means everything to the business model. If we start growing mj and get raided by the DEA, stock will drop to near 0 in a matter of minutes. How can you say that means nothing?
patience is a virtue people...
TRTC is like a shook up 2 ltr bottle of soda pop. The FDA reclassification and the upcoming Senate vote to defund federal raids are the bottle caps.
Any Questions?
Anyone else having issues with otc market?
No bid/ask on any mj related stocks on my watch lists. The broker I use is optionshouse, they've been vague saying their not getting the stream.
and the biggest reason to buy shares now. They want to triple their money.
thnx, I thought we would get a bounce today but doesn't look like it so far. The next day or two for sure. Primed and ready to capitalize on the testing section. imo
Anybody out there know what canl is doing? Brokerage website acting up, can't get bid/ask or l2 on any otc stocks this morning.
I am coming up on my one year very soon and looking for the little extra on the tax breaks. I bought in at .11 and have enjoyed the ride. Looking forward to riding much higher as the Industry goes legit and trtc's plan unfolds.
I think it's going to be a little higher. I am looking at 4.25 - 4.5 for 2nd Quarter and a definite raise in 3rd Quarter projections by around 15% maybe higher if feds cooperate. Beyond that and things start to get a little fuzzy. Things can change really fast in this Industry.
The industry has a whole needs a bump to get going again. Congress and the White-house need to get more aggressive and vocal with the DEA. The senate needs to follow the House's lead honor states rights. The FDA needs to wake up and put mj in a similar category as alcohol and tobacco or at least a schedule III or better.
The Industry is on the verge of a major run and trtc is in a position to lead the pack. The money is there and people want to invest but with certain gov agencies dragging their feet and big money using false statements to slow things down the industry hasn't yet been legitimized. When the gov finally does its thing the investor money will pour in and trtc stock will rise rise rise!
It's definitely coming back in a bid way.
Big Money is trying hard to slow it down, but mj has always been a grass roots movement. It's going to take the people demanding legalization and making it an issue in all the upcoming elections to do it. Politicians are raking it in off both sides of the fence and their going to keep dragging their heels until the people come together at the polls.
Here's a few good links for your list

I shop Kroger almost exclusively...
They have (imo) the best produce in the business. It will be tough to get in. EG being a success at Wally World will help. I contacted Kroger corporate online asking if they carried EG brand, they responded by saying my local store didn't carry it at this time (duh) and had no way to tell if any other stores carried it (other than contacting the produce managers of each store). The Rep was very knowledgeable about the EG brand and is passing my request up the ladder.
Potential reclassification...
I think the FDA reclassification is a done deal and the discussions they are having are about where to move it to. Alcohol and tobacco were given an exemption and is what, I think, should be done to mj. Schedules II, III, IV and V require a prescription by a medical practitioner, so that takes full legalization of the menu. I believe they will reclassify to schedule III for now. Marinol, which is the synthetic form of tetrahydrocannabinol (thc) is currently in schedule III. If you look at other drugs in this catagory like codeine, anabolic steroids, hydrocodone etc... you realize mj doesn't belong here but since when has anything about the laws and mj made since. It would be a nice step in the right direction though. But this leaves the question of what to do about non medical use? Maybe a schedule III status and a decriminalization law that respects the states decision to proceed has they see fit is the way to go? Whatever they decide is going to be ground breaking news for trtc and the industry as a whole.
imo exemption and full legalization!

just thinking out loud...
good info. sounds like we could have mj for sale and clones to grow immediately.
He doesn't care...
I think he is out their campaigning looking to raise money for the Senate elections. Sen Mark Udall is next up on the "chopping block" for re-election. He's in Washington campaigning and Obama is in Colorado campaigning. I wonder why they are hitting these areas so hard?

That's no lie..
I read an article that said $20+ a gram in Washington. That's just crazy. I smoked a lot back in the day (pre-mtv) and we hardly ever had to pay anything; benefit of growing up in the country on the edge of a small town, but when we did it was cheap. Something like 20 bucks a handful - cheap, good though, I can't imagine the quality today being that much better, there's just no way.
I too moved on, started having trouble with advanced mathematics in college. I could grasp the concepts easier, but took much longer to "crunch" the numbers. Could have been the weed or more likely the ridiculous amount of BS that was going on in my life at the time.
I can't believe it's still illegal. It's amazing how much people will lie to themselves and try to force their morally bankrupt beliefs on others.
Full Legalization is the only answer.
Senate needs to stop stalling and vote yes on the defunding bill so Obama can take a break from campaigning and sign it and trtc can get down to business. Has anybody heard if trtc has "mother plants" somewhere or are we going to buy clones or start from seed. It would make a difference in time to first harvest. I know DP said we could be growing in 48 hours. So probably buy popular strain clones from someone and grow out our own "mothers" and clone are own. Depending on the strain were looking at around 12 weeks +/- to first harvest then another 2 weeks +/- to process and package.
patience is a virtue
long-n-strong
Tomato and strawberry plants are huge producers once they get going. They might have to hire twice as many pickers.
You seem to have more knowledge than most about trtc, have they ever considered aquaculture? Adding fish to the mix could cut fertilizer costs a little plus the fish could prove to be a lucrative revenue stream. I bet the Casino's in Vegas would pay a premium for a steady supply of fresh fish.
yeah, they have other partners in FL but off the top of my head I can't remember their names either. I do remember sunshine growers has being the only partnership close to the 30 year restriction. There is an article out there about groups working to loosen restrictions and gaining support. Lets wish them luck.
trtc in Florida...
The Florida regulations require a nursery with 30 years growing experience among other things.
http://www.bizjournals.com/jacksonville/blog/morning-edition/2014/07/florida-rolls-out-its-plan-for-high-stakes.html
One of trtc partners is with Sunshine Growers in Lakeland, Fl. They have been growing since August '86 so that's almost 28 years.
http://www.sunshinegrowersinc.com/
that's 2 years shy of the currant requirement. I read an article the other day about groups working to "loosen" the restrictions. I'll see if I can find it later when I get time.
A recent poll showed 97% in favor of legalizing. In order for the amendment to pass at least 60% must vote to legalize.
http://www.inquisitr.com/1267640/florida-marijuana-legalization-poll-legal-weed-november/
If voter turnout is high amendment 2 will pass easily.
