Is this a margin call?
CGC needs to get off the kid's table and lose the V.
The $17 number actually came from Omen.
hahah
Apologies if I come off rude but it is impossible for you to know if sick people have been using Marijuana for thousands of years without complications. Statements like that are uninformed and dangerous. Please do not consider public office or any position for that matter where you are empowered to make decisions for other people. You may be able to inform yourself to the contrary however, by reading some research that has been published by smart people (seems as far back as 1983 and possible further), such as the following. Once doing so, I will gladly retract my previous statement and we can hi-5 on our mutual enrichment:
"Microbiological contaminants of marijuana"

"Too Many Mouldy Joints – Marijuana and Chronic Pulmonary Aspergillosis:"

Fact is...my back yard bathtub ginnery has the best bathtub gin for sale out there. And i know bathtub gin.
Saying otherwise just proves you don't know what you're talking about...
Tanqueray's master distiller was distilling Vodka in Scotland when he got the job at Tanqueray.
I would love for Tanqueray to compete at my next bathtub gin / turkey shoot cup but they cannot. Stuck with heavy-always-changing-HC-regulations-meant-to kill-AB'S- market.
Fact is...Tanqueray is freaking out right now, just as all other AB's concerned.
My free happy hour take-a-dip-and-a-sip cards jammed in the printer so they're about to stop.
College of Medecine (hey that's my made-up association name, no tradesies!) not happy about customers having to pay 20$ to get a bottle with an actual UPC on the side that you can trace if it gives you jake-leg.
That will be Tanqueray's last stand!
Cannabinoid Chart:
Hey does anyone have a link to a chart showing the known pros **and cons** of the various cannabinoids (not just cannabis as a whole)? I can only seem to find ones that are all pro, like these ones:

THC can cause fatigue for exmaple.
Thx,
Looks like they're due in court this afternoon. Federal Court, 3:00 pm, courtroom 702.
Nice work. I had 504 for Q4. Hoping not so, but this probably already worked into the stock price. Nice to see them meeting expectations and fingers crossed on the court decision.
They get 60 days to do the interim ones and 120 days to do the audited yearly ones.
It must have gone stale because it sat on the shelf too long. Probably somebody kept reaching behind the old stuff to get to the new stuff at the back.
Could you please clarify how much product is on these shelves, and for how long it is staying there? Also how deep are these shelves and how high?
Some word definitions come to mind while reading your post that you may want to consider:
1) Ecommerce: commercial transactions conducted electronically on the Internet. The icons on the website might looks like shelves, but they're just pictures on a website.
and
2)Inventory turnover: a measure of the number of times inventory is sold or used in a time period. Unless you've been inside the tweed building staring at the shelves every day, they may be almost completely empty almost all the time. If you have been, please let us know asap!
and
3)Economic equilibrium (a bit more complicated, but suffice it to say this is a good thing): a state where economic forces such as supply and demand are balanced and in the absence of external influences the (equilibrium) values of economic variables will not change.
Thanks for the investing advice. You should start a blog.
I think you're assumption is good. Q4 should be around $500k total.
So assumming all of the $504k first 9 mo's was MMJ that makes $123 avg order size, 4095 orders Q4 = $503,385 rev, 59% rev growth Q/Q.
Hey anybody know why the COGS went up so much last Q over previous?
Thanks eh
Can someone with an account please place an order on the 31st of Dec so that we can estimate this Q volume based on order # lapse and average order size? Pretty please :)
There is some good information on the landing page on how this works. Link also here: http://research.scottrade.com/KnowledgeCenter/Public/Help/Article?docId=37010be1721740e0879fb4b3510db8ed
Great company. Research it, buy some shares and tell your friends! I'll sell you mine for $20ea if you want some.
At current COGS they need to sell a little over $6m/q to break even. If they sell their whole license amount next year and drop that COGS a bit (pretty much guaranteed), I think they'll be in fine shape. Cash positive is probably Q2 or Q3 next year. Even with 0 sales they have enough $ to make it though till then.
Info's probably a few months old by now.
Took HC long enough to update that one.
On the last conference call I believe Chairman said they were looking for a CEO with TSX experience and wanted to have that person in place by end of this year / beginning of next. Last night probably gathered some attention for that kind of person.

Question to the board. Does anyone know of a cheap and good investment research/analysis company for US/Global equities that also lacks conflicts of interest? Similar to 5i Research in Canada. If not can anyone recommend anything close to it?
Source of the question basically comes form the subtext of this guy's letter to the CCPPP
http://www.bankofcanada.ca/2014/11/legacy-financial-crisis/
jerks
You think they're still finishing those rooms? I was thinking that the greenhouse score would have changed the growth plan given the lower COGS in that space. (I'm assuming also that capacity growth in the greenhouse has a much lower capital outlay than the Hershey factory). i.e. hold off everything in the hershey factory except the test lab until the greenhouse is 100% capacity.
The statement that the license is up for renewal is valid (I believe it is renewed at the end of January).
The reference that I was making wat that the subject of the article was a company that had a recall. Therefore a company that had a recall can renew their license and those that did not should not have any trouble with their license. Therefore the implied argument in the statement is invalid and is akin to saying "BOEING EVERETT FACTORY HEALTH AND SAFETY YEARLY INSPECTION UP FOR RENEWAL! Wonder if Boeing will pass the bar? Gee whiz I wouldn't want to be holding the bag if those fire extinguishers come back past their inspection date!"
Were you paid by someone to write that? I'm curious what the going rate is for that sort of thing if so.
It would be valuable for readers to note that the link you provided was about Peace Naturals, which is 1 of only 3 producers (others being Greenleaf Medicinals and Whistler Medical Marijuana Corp.) that have issued a Health Canada recall for their product.
My pessimistic-realistic-optimistic for FY14 is 4-6-8.
Totally. The sun is super expensive and sucks at that.
There are too many idiots. The simple idiots need to see simple things. Sales, sales growth, profit, profit growth - They will eventually.
I wish I could compete in a market with only 12 other players all of which were smaller than me and had less money than me. It's like starting Monopoly while the banker is in the kitchen getting a lemonade and switching your stack with his.
I'm going to be richer than Warren Buffet once I finish inventing a time machine.
Because of emotionally disturbed stock traders with no idea how business works IMO.
reminds me of this pic from dutch passion:
"Many greenhouse growers have grown single plants that have filled small greenhouses and produced several hundred grams of top quality weed per plant. Some greenhouses have windows that will open and let the plants grow out, but a safer option is to use cord to try to ‘tie down’ the plants if they do start growing massively. The photo below shows what can happen when a prolific strain starts to turn into a large bush that wants to grow as high as a small tree."

Last day of sales before the quarter ends.
last weekend before q3 end. can we send out a blitz on social media? maybe some misinformation like "hey is it true Tweed is about to completely sell out?" "wow, better stock up", etc etc. is that illegal?
