I agree that dr. Hoff has some great results with his trials with cell in the box.
Very nice job finding that article. Looks like the diabetes trials will be happening much sooner then most people realize. I see now why so many important people are joining the pharmacyte team.
Jd I totally agree with you. Great post.
One thing I don't understand. Why are people bashing this stock or any stock if they have no interest in it ?
Let's not forget that in the first study by td2. The study started Aug 20 and news came out about that study was done Nov 19. I believe we will hear great news soon. But if we use same time frame, news will come in do time. I am a long and I don't plan on selling anytime soon. So be patient and when the results become public others will see what a new delivery system that can treat so many different types of solid tumors pmcb has.
I appreciate you sharing that information.
I agree with you that pmcb is not a sure thing. But for this price and the what if,it does work, it could be huge. But key word could. Only time will tell. Good luck to you and your choices.
If cell in the box did not show promise Dr. Hoff would not be doing a more detailed study. A doctor will not promote a product unless he has all the science and facts to put down on his final report.
How can you say the science has failed? After Dr. Hoff clinical trials are completed and his report says his findings then we will know. I work in the medical field and can tell you alot of people are watching this stock, but they are waiting for some concrete news. Like Dr.Hoffs report then they will decide.
It's not a drug it's a delivery system for approved drug.
I agree that pharmacyte has alot of potential. If Dr. Hoff first preclinical did not show promising results they would not move on to do another more detailed preclinical trial. If investors were encouraged about a possible new that treatment for pancreatic cancer. They should be thrilled about the fact this study being preformed by Dr. Hoff includes abdominal cancers. The money outlook ahead will be far greater then just pancreatic cancer alone. If people can't see that to bad more shares for me. Don't get me wrong every stock has risk. But if you want a stock that will be a Hugh boom or bust this is it. And I did not even mention diabetes.
Great post.
No one really knows what is going on with the company. But name change, reissuing shares, more pre clincal trials. But once pharmacyte received orphan drug status from the fda.,Things changed in the company. Sometimes in the medical field if results look far better then expected you need to double check your work before you come out with results. It might very well be that pharmacyte is more concerned with a treatment for abdominal cancers and ascites fluid. Which would include pancreatic treatment. Dr Hoff has ties to the fda which gave pharmacyte orphan drug status very fast. If people choose not to see that as a positive then so be it. But we will all know what direction the company is going good or bad in the near future. Longs and shorts have to agree we will know something within the next few months.
Same with my td account.
My average price is .12 and I have a good number of shares. You either believe in the cell in the box concept or you dont. Nuvilex is using a know drug that has been on the market for years (isosfamide) because of the cell in the box nuvilex will be using 1/3 the dose of a drug that is in the market already. If Dr. Hoff gives a food report about preclinical study this stock will fly. I am here to I hear what the report on the study is and take it from there. This is my risk stock that I am betting on. But it's also money I can afford to lose.
How can you call yourself a long. If you been following this stock you know everything has lead to what's about to happen within the next few months. Dr Hoff will have his report out about preclinical study. And phase 2 starting in a few months. A real long would be very excited about what is coming up in 2015. If you want to make quick money nuvilex is not the stock.
Plus lets not forget, nuvilex will be using a drug that has been in the market for years.(isosfamide) But only using 1/3 the dose without the side effects. So if results are just as good as other chemo drugs without the side effects that's big. If nuvilex shows greater survival rate plus no side effects that's a game changer for the way chemo will be delivered. 2015 should be a fun year.
I believe nuvilex is for real more then someone going onto a stock board to bash a penny stock that they say they have no interest in the stock..
Great news today from the fda. Its now on alot of people's radar. After Dr. Von Hoff comes out and gives the results of the pre clincal study look out it will really start moving up and getting everyone's attention. 2015 is going to be a fun ride. I don't post often but I always enjoyed alot of the information that people on here provided. Thank you to all longs. Have a great holiday season.
Going coastal, it's great to read a post from someone that is right on target about the importance about the pre trials being done in the United states.
Nice post piletwo, I am in nuvilex long term also and feel the same way as you do about this technology. Cell encapsulation can be used for so many different things. And as you said other companies have wanted to produce this type of delivery system but nuvilex is different because the body does not reject the cell encapsulation.
Most companies do not have prove that there technology works like cell in the box has proven. Also it's not like nuvilex is making a new drug. It's a delivery system with a proven drug for fighting cancer.
Otsy, would you know what would happen if nuvilex sold there rights to cell encapsulation for cancer (buyout) but they kept there rights for diabetes. How would that work out?. Thanks.
Great post, I totally agree with you that all the pieces are coming together for diabetes, and we should be hearing news soon.
Agree with you that something big is in the works. Nuvilex wanted to have resignations come out first, before the big news starts coming out. If you can read between the lines you can see news is coming very soon.
Thank you for that good information on previous animal trial.
No one but a basher would sell nvlx at this time. Nvlx in my view has everything lined up now. Everything is about to fall into place. First preclinical is weeks away from startng. Then 1Q 2015 clinical trials will start. And lets not forget I believe big news on diabetes will be coming in the near future. I have had this stock for 1.5 years just waiting for this time. Yes I have held this stock, but soon the price will rise up to were I wont be able to buy as many shares as I have now at these low prices. As others have said on this board, its a bio stock you just need to have patients and lets hope huge rewards await us all, and also for all the cancer and diabetic patients will have hope.
Fluid in the Abdomen or Ascites
..
.
If DR.Hoff and TD2 show good results in preclinical trails and clinical trials, nvlx will be treating way more then just pancreatic cancer. They will be treating about 6-7 different type of ascites caused by cancer. In my opinion its a great strategic move to test cell in the box on a wide range of cancers in one trial.
Ascites is the buildup of fluid in the abdominal cavity. Ascites caused by cancer is called malignant ascites and accounts for 10% of people with ascites. Malignant ascites appears most often in people with breast, colon, gastrointestinal tract (stomach and intestines), ovarian, pancreatic, and uterine cancers.
Relieving side effects, also called symptom management, palliative care, or supportive care, is an important part of cancer care and treatment. Talk with your health care team about any symptoms of ascites that you experience, including any new symptoms or a change in symptoms.
Point I really liked was how they will be using more cycles then the previous two cycles they used in other trial. They may use more than three cycles spaced 21 days apart. I would image they will see how many cycles patients can handle. More cycles greater chance of tumor shrinkage and with that longer survival time.
Does anyone have information about how many cycles nvlx will be using on phase 2 study. I know in previous study they used two cycles of ifosfamide. I would think three cycles would increase the results of the study. Just wondering if anyone has read anything. Thanks.
