Apparently nobody read through the recent filing in detail. One of the the items up for vote is the disbursement of 12M shares of stock options to the Directors (including Li) at an average strike price of .16. And these option MUST be exercised within 60 days of April 16, 2021. Meaning by June 16th, they need to be exercised.
Stop and think about that. This would only be done if there is going to be some sizable share price movement in the near future. Otherwise, who would want to exercise a stock option at .16 when the current price is .09 and not expected to rise? And this is up for vote, so clearly they all will exercise these stick options immediately upon approval. This is a VERY bullish sign for this stock.
I would expect some type of announcement to be made at this Annual Shareholder Meeting. We all know how Li acts be now and he didn't hold past Annual Meetings because there was no news. He is now holding a meeting and to think this meeting is going to be "going through the motions" is naive. There is something positive coming soon.
No there was one when he first took over. Nothing since. Definitely means something has changed for the company. Very bullish sign.
NOTICE OF 2021 ANNUAL MEETING OF STOCKHOLDERS
TO BE HELD ON JUNE 10, 2021
_________________________________
April 30, 2021
To the Stockholders of Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc.:
You are cordially invited to attend the annual meeting of stockholders of Liquidmetal Technologies, Inc. (the ?Company?), which will be held via a live webcast at www.virtualshareholdermeeting.com/LQMT2021, on June 10, 2021 at 9:00 A.M. local time, for the following purposes:
1.
To elect as directors the five nominees named in the accompanying proxy statement to serve until the 2022 annual meeting of stockholders and until their successors are duly elected and qualified;
2.
To hold an advisory vote on the compensation of our named executive officers as disclosed in the accompanying proxy statement;
3.
To hold an advisory vote on the frequency of holding future advisory votes on the compensation of our named executive officers;
4.To ratify the appointment of SingerLewak LLP as our independent registered public accountants for the year ending December 31, 2021; and 5.To transact such other business as may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment thereof.
This plan states that within the next twelve months, Eontec will be making a major investment (>50% of net assets or >30% of total assets of their entire company) overseas. And there will be an expected profit from this investment to be returned to shareholders in the plan.
Can’t imagine that investment being anywhere other than the US. As BB already stated we will have expanded production capabilities here in the US in 2021.
This is starting to make sense now.
Well that's actually some good news. Due to increased BMG demands, they are skipping right over the R&D Center (initially called Phase 1) and going right to large scale expansion of BMG production facilities (Phase 2). They must have customers in order to be making this investment.

Scratches easily formed on the stainless steel airtags plates. SMH. Where the hell are you Mr. Li??? Perfect application for BMG. Supposed to be cheaper than ss, especially in small large volume situations.
Another opportunity for BMG...what you got Mr. Li?

Yes, any legal action taken by the company (paid for) would need to be recorded. Costs could be hidden if so chosen, but there must be a narrative about any legal activities. Our auditor sends letters out to every attorney we work with annually and provides a narrative of all activities for the year in our YE financials. The only caveat might be the NDA as we do not know the requirements of that. But I think it is safe to say that Apple handled that whole situation. However remember, that cost to them is like pennies. So it's not a big deal to them to protect a brand they still are considering to use.
Yes I am an investor (not a trader). But it's time to start building the customer base. We seem to have everything in place...
"If Liquidmetal For its RF Transparency is so essential why haven’t any of the whales (Samsung, Apple, Huawei) used it yet for their 5g phones? "
There is no diversified supply chain yet for the whales to get multiple quotes. And no, Huawei is only using for hinges at the moment.
There is countless potential for this material, but no diversified supply chain. Same issue last leadership had. Li has had 5 years and 128 patents and has produced nothing. Time for him to step up and start producing for multiple smaller customers to generate revenue in order to expand supply chain. Work your way up to the whales.

LG-Magna joint venture 'very near' to win Apple EV project
Tesla is not a good comparison because their CEO has been hyping that company for years. He shouts from every rooftop about the company's potential. Our CEO is the opposite. Thereby making it difficult to move the share price without revenue.
Great, so LQMT "West" is ready to start selling. Expect to start seeing revenues the rest of the year.
Although I would say your "bullish " revenue projections were not overly bullish. It didn't look like you factored in any fruit revenue this year.
Yes, it is the company that takes the base machine from LK Machinery and transforms it into a BMG molding machine.
So Li is now part owner of this company too - right?
"The Company is to be established with Liquid Metal Co., Ltd. and Anke Co., Ltd. jointly to form Shenzhen Li'an Liquid Metal Equipment Co."
So Li now has a stake in Shenzhen Li'an Liquid Metal Equipment Co.- the company that makes the liquidmetal molding machines?

Yi'an Technology ( 300328)
May I ask the major shareholders to give up the acquisition of Yiyi Metal 40%, what is the strategic significance of listed companies?
Hello! Thank you for your interest in the company. The 16% equity stake in liquid metals is conducive to the integration of the intellectual property advantages of the United States Liquid Metals Corporation (LQMT) and the industrialization resources of yiyi metals, the realization of research and development and industrialization docking, the improvement of the scientific and technological content and added value of yiyi metals liquid metal products, the continuous expansion of the liquid metal products market, accelerate the process of liquid metal industrialization, in line with the development strategy of listed companies. A stable technology is particularly optimistic about the development prospects of the liquid metal industry, so it was allowed to take an 8% stake in Yi'an Metals, one of the existing shareholders of Yi'an Materials, which is conducive to strengthening the deep binding between the existing shareholders of Yi'an Materials and Yi'an Metal. Thank you!
Apple can use Liquidmetal in its watches, this has already been settled.
Omega already has a watch out that bonds Liquidmetal and sapphire. I do not understand what is taking Apple so long with this. We know it can be done and is being done.
"Alternatively, the protective case 100 may be formed using a double-shot molding process such that the body portion 102 of the protective case 100 is formed from a first material in a first shot, and the gasket 108, integrally formed with the body portion 102, may be formed from a second material in a second shot."
From patent.
Your statement was that CCP has some form of control over LQMT - which is completely false. And now you slither away from that statement when proven false and try to move to another negative statement. Same ole same ole. The truth - yeah right....
Wow, complete lack of understanding there.
PLA has nothing to do with company ownership. It has to do with sharing technology. CCP has an ownership stake in Eontec, not LQMT. There is no ownership correlation between either Eon or CCP and LQMT. This is basic knowledge.

It will need something strong and bendable to go with it.
Apple Watch Patent with flexible or rollable display:
https://www.tomsguide.com/news/radical-apple-watch-redesign-makes-the-samsung-galaxy-watch-look-boring
"A display module and system applications including a display module are described. The display module may include a display substrate including a front surface, a back surface, and a display area on the front surface. A plurality of interconnects extend through the display substrate from the front surface to the back surface. An array of light emitting diodes (LEDs) are in the display area and electrically connected with the plurality of interconnects, and one or more driver circuits are on the back surface of the display substrate. Exemplary system applications include wearable, rollable, and foldable displays. "
This is a very good reminder. If I could pin it I would. This clearly is BMG for the LG rollable. Hopefully this is part of LQMT's "limited" CE use.

"Foxconn, the world's largest contract electronics manufacturer, has begun making servers and other 5G networking gear for a handful of clients, including Cisco, at its manufacturing complex in the U.S. state of Wisconsin"
https://asia.nikkei.com/Business/Companies/Foxconn-starts-US-production-of-servers-and-network-gear
Could this be our US manufacturer?
Josh, the Trademark you reference belongs to Crucible, not LQMT....
https://tsdr.uspto.gov/documentviewer?caseId=sn88862995&docId=ALW20200929010656#docIndex=10&page=1
Here is another on the same filing date that has different uses:
https://uspto.report/TM/88863010/APP20200410083800/
So I get that they have now included cell phones (CE), and medical, and auto in the Trademark. But it still belongs to Crucible. So I am not sure how this benefits LQMT as they do not own the Trademark.
It's now rumored to be in April.
So you believe the PLA territories extends to the magnesium bone nail sales as well? That would certainly be a nice added revenue source if so.
Hopefully LQMT will announce who their US BMG manufacturer is soon (to accompany Yihao).
Also, FYI, Foxconn may be using the Wisconsin site for EV's.

“ from reading the 10k, it looks like LQMT is planning to issue more stock. “
Please point out exactly where this is stated? There are unexercised options that could be exercised (as there have always been). But I see nothing about their “planning to issue more stock. “. So please point this out.
What he said was they pulled nearly all their money out of cash (liquidity) and put it into debt securities. They do have enough free cash to sustain the current revenue amounts. So it implies an expectation of increased revenues over current.
Again, small cap is defined as $1B-$5B. Half of those shares are locked up. Once the company is sustainably profitable, which means an additional $3M in revenue (peanuts), it will easily be over a dollar.
Thanks Josh, looking for some good news in the near future...
There were no expectations for revenues. Expenses have been drastically reduced down to a total cash burn of $2.6M. That is just one contract away from profitability. So Li has made all the right moves to date. Just need to have a couple contracts come in now. From the January PR, it sounds like that will happen this year.
Could you tell me if you supply Huawei matex2?
Hello! Thank you for your interest in the company. The company for the largest mobile phone terminal customers to provide several generations of products of liquid metal hinges. Due to the non-disclosure agreement with the customer, the company is not convenient to reply to customer specific information, please understand. Thank you!
How many companies have multiple generations of folding phones?
All you do is sling mud here, it’s pretty shameful.
No, the Joint Development Period noted in the PLA expires this month.
Li was not allowed to buy the entire company. It was not random that entered the picture, he was brought in by a third party to try to commercialize this material. He seems to be on his way to doing this.

"In some embodiments, the oxide coatings are applied to substrates composed of metals other than titanium or titanium alloys, such aluminum, aluminum alloy, steel, magnesium, magnesium alloys, zirconium, or zirconium alloys."
LQMT Blog: "Coating amorphous metal parts is similar to coating most other metal components. Some processes work better than others, but overall, conventional methods work well. One coating that the Liquidmetal team recently examined is both cosmetic and functional: mixed oxide finish. The process creates a very thin native layer of the native metal alloy atoms in their oxidized states, making the material scratch resistant and colored."
"There are no sales figures per se but the company is overly satisfied and is now contemplating a global launch of the phone. Markets are not disclosed, but early 2021 is the tentative timeline when it should trickle out of China."

Their three office are located in China, California and Europe. So when they say they are launching it worldwide, it certainly includes the US and EU.

This statement would not be made if they were going for dental devices.
