No question BMG can be used for heat shielding. But still looking for the patent from Li. He had invented a BMG system that circulated some type of material that transferred the heat away from the source.

Yes, Li developed a BMG heat sink device foe CE products a year or so ago. I have to go back and check my records as I don't recall if it was a patent or just an article about it. I think Josh may have posted it originally.

Larger size with better machines means not only phones, but now also IPads can be made with BMG's. 700g is plenty large enough for an IPad shell. No other machine in the world can do this. Advantage Li/LQMT.
Read the article and learn, this is NOT an injection molding machine (ie. Engel). This is Eon’s better machine. Down to .3mm thickness BMG. This thickness is a noted improvement in the latest LM Design Guide. Along with the larger (700 g) part capability.

This is specific to LM106C and the hot crucible molding technique. No other BMG can get down to 0.3 mm thickness. So this is clearly a patent aimed at LQMT. I also am not sure about "LM107". I am thinking it is a typo since the patent states "LM 107" and "LM 105" and LM105 is no longer in our design guide. So they must have meant 106C instead of 107 as all the further patent details match 106C.

Finally Xiaomi announces release date for their foldable phone of Q2 next year. This will have liquid metal hinges and lower price point than the Mate X. This should see much higher sales volume.
This is only for 5G telecommunications equipment (antennas, base stations etc.), not for phones. Further, it is only for private telecoms using federal funds.

So setting up your own entity with a nearly identical name as CIP and then cross referencing CIP's patents is not illegal? Well perhaps, I'm not an attorney. Common sense would tell me there must be something illegal there. Regardless, it is something the company had to have acted upon as it clearly is an act to infringe on the IP.
Yes, I posted this some months ago and suggested this was the straw that provoked them to file a lawsuit against him. If you recall, you told me this had nothing to do with LQMT, but I pointed out the it cross references multiple CIP (actual CIP, not "Cornerstone ") patents which seemed clearly illegal to me at the time. I think the lawsuit against him was filled soon after the publishing of this.

This is the main body of the camera module. This camera configuration allows Asus more room inside the phone which is used for battery space. Hence the reason this phone is one of the best for battery life.

They may or may not advertise its use when they use the material. But they want (and IMO have) the right to be able to advertise it if they choose. I think it would be a sensational marketing item for them. But in the end it is their decision. But as I said before, there are no other logical reasons for the clearly deliberate lack of advertising by LQMT of their product.
My apologies, let me clarify. I think you would agree that currently only a small percentage of the US population is even aware of this material. Apple wants it this way so if they decide to us it (as they still have the trademark rights to Liquidmetal), they will introduce it as a "new" material that they have worked on for years. In fact, I would be surprised if there isn't some type of agreement in place to keep LQMT from actively promoting this material. Apple always wants all the credit. And they are the whale, so they get what they want.

Actually, the quarterly statements are unaudited, so this is likely the reason for the non-disclosure. It will need to be reported in the year end audited financials.
I will respectfully disagree as a business CEO who hires a third party auditor annually, they are legally obligated to note any legal proceedings during that period regardless of risk factor. Just because there is minimal risk in this lawsuit doesn’t give the auditor the right not to disclose it. Something is not right with that. Perhaps the actual legal proceedings did not start until after the end of the quarter. Or perhaps they being fully represented by another company (this may possibly allow the non-disclosure, but am not sure on that). Otherwise it should be disclosed.
The only logical reason they don’t actively promote this material in the US and don’t conduct press releases (which reach the media versus the blog that only reach followers) is because they are deliberately keeping a low profile about their product.
Now just think about that for a minute...why would they do this?
There is only one logical reason why...and it has to do with “fruit”.
