How does this company keep the lights on? No news? No revenue? You would think they would have some plan to start drilling again. What price does oil have to reach?
nice of you to post...but this is not specific to DWOG...can't understand why we haven't heard anything...been so long
What does that mean? Last time?
This is harder to watch than the Hoffmans on Gold Rush
I don't understand. They shut down a production well because oil prices were too low. So they want to drill 7 more? Is there some economies of scale I'm missing?
Poor, poor Horst. He really never had a chance...did he? A boy among men.
If only he had started production a couple of years earlier...would have had a good shot at being bought out. Oil prices to remain low for decades. Oh well...time to move on.
Given the significant price drop, I'm guessing its very bad news. What a waste of time and money
I bet they stop pumping soon.
1. Pan Orient lost $600k
2. Youyou not exercising his options to buy more
3. Oil probably going lower...maybe $30/bar
All bad news for us
Oil price will really dive once Iran sanctions are lifted and they flood the market. Horst waited way too long. No one is going to want this crappy sandy oil
This lack of news is killing me. Someone drop Hapless Horst an email
Can we expect to hear anything soon?
So what will June bring us?
Alot of excitement for a 3 cent move.
So Q is pretty bad news.
Rev down and net loss up. I guess that can be blamed on oil prices going down by 50%.
No plans on second well. Burning through cash pretty fast too.
Next Q report should be out in a couple of weeks. What's everyone thinking? Any chance for positive earnings?
You can still buy shares. I just did through my etrade account. Don't know why none of sites are monitoring activity. Something must be going on...hopefully a merger or take-over
Why isn't it trading today? Good news? Buy-Out?
Why the 'N/A' this morning. A little unusual.
I might see Horst tomorrow at happy hour. I'll see what's up.
The real question is expenses. With one well DWOG will never be able to cover $0.5 mil a quarter. I wouldn't get too excited over an extra barrel here and there.
That's like $270K a quarter (revenue). I've seen pizza shops bring in more money. Expenses running half a mil too...so negative earnings
I can't find all the details on the G&A expenses...but it seems the directors have some sweet stock option plans. But low sell at an inflated premium? Who knows? Its a penny stock and I should have know better.
Don't think Horst will have anything insightful to say IMHO. I previously noted that DWOG has quarterly G&A expenses of $600K. This seems like a ton of money for a company that only sits around waiting for a check to get mailed. Would like to know how all that money is getting spent.
So...
Rev = 244 bpd x 90 days x $41 x 25% = $225K
G&A Exp = $600k
Loss of $375 per quarter
Am I missing something?
I just wanted to know why they stopped. Where is this info? When did they disclose production costs? How do you know so much? Please, by all means, enlighten me.
Why are the rigs idled?
Barry will veto it...guaranteed.
What then? Another 6 months for a press release?
Yep. It's pretty much all over. Opportunity to make $ is gone. Oil is low and will be for a while. Can't see DWOG being bought out with all these other companies closing shop. Horst couldn't make a nickel when oil was over $100. Certainly can't do it at $40.
I don't think anyone would blame Horst for the low price of oil. However, I would argue that when the price was at $150 DWOG should have been doing something. Opportunity missed. Now more excuses.
9 weeks and counting. I know, I know...Be patient...It's a long play...we're almost there just a few more weeks...why are you so negative...all the insiders are buying...these things take a while...Rome wasn't built in a day...Horst doesn't control the flow of information...
Tomorrow is officially 8 weeks. What can be taking so long?
7 weeks and counting.
Big News Day?
So DWOG said on Sept. 16 that it would annouce production results in four to six weeks. Today represents the end of six weeks. Any bets? I say we hear nothing for another week and then it's more BS like...we need more time to anaylize results. SMH
I guess there's not much oil being pumped. If there was word would have leaked and the price would be going up.
...another six to eight weeks. By then winter and more excuses.
what needs to be explained? Its been three months
I think it's odd that there isn't any reports of oil.
Anyone read this? very disheartening

Because I have $ invested. Would like to see more progress. Not alone in my frustration from what I've read on this message board.
