Anybody follow this board? Alkermes is my favorite company and I think it could be nice to get a discussion going. I have a large options position and am thinking about buying some stock as well.
I don't know unfortunately not really my area of expertise but if I had to guess I'd say any it would have been more important to have been holding when the funds were frozen rather than now but if there is a repayment it will probably be pennies on the dollar unfortunately.
No way I sold long ago I just follow the company news sometimes so I know when to show up for their day in court should be soon next year maybe.
I'd wait until an up day then sell. You never know when the next leg up will be unfortunately. It will be up and down and eventually zero so just try to catch it on the upper end of the range.
Neither. Either the authorities will close the doors for good after they are found guilty or it will exist indefinitely as a non operating shell company and the stock will approach .0001. They don't really have much of a defense here since the evidence is so obvious.
Terra tech what a great investment hahaha
Thank you for the very kind words. Back in the day there were other critics as well and we all supported each other with complimentary research. Don't forget to read the posts about the promoters on this board who disguised themselves as regular investors and purposely tried to get people to trust in them so they could then stab them right in the back. The SEC knows. I had a couple of long conversations on the phone with their lawyers about what I found in my research. I'm looking forward to their trial so they know what I look like I know they read this message board.
Re-posting this post from August as requested. Update: FSPM is still a scam. Just like most penny stock companies.
Laughable. 100% of Fusion Pharm's "sales" were to themselves as of the last detailed annual report and this was not disclosed to the SEC (the financials misrepresented these as external sales which made their numbers look better than they actually were). Investors invested based on the belief that Fusion Pharm had revenue and customers. Even if they gained customers since the 2012 report, they still got investors based on incorrect numbers. This is called securities fraud and it is not a "minor charge" as you say. It is theft and there are victims (the victims being shareholders, competitors, and the integrity of the financial system). I don't know why some people are saying we don't know what the evidence is. We might not know everything but there is publicly available evidence about one thing. The evidence is in the 2012 report and May 2014 press release. They told investors they had lots of revenue and customers when in reality they set up companies that they ran, they "sold" products to these companies, and they told investors that Fusion Pharm had all these sales. They did not disclose that these companies were actually run by related parties ("related parties" being Fusion Pharm management). Since Sears (perhaps accidentally?) refers to Fusion Pharm as "we" in the recent article about the Seattle event, I think it's safe to say he is part of Fusion Pharm.
It's actually 19.8% and this is a sad number. Retail investors aka dumb money are 59.5%. Sorry.
Either they have no sales, they are lazy (aka bad management), or they don't care about shareholders. Maybe all 3. Or maybe their pr isn't lazy and is working hard on these message boards to encourage retail investors to buy since they can't seem to trick institutions into buying.

Well I think it's safe to say he said this before the insider selling, the dilution, and most importantly, the insider selling right before the dilution.
This strategy might work for some stocks but he certainly wasn't referring to speculative biotech's with red flags such as insider selling on the day before dilution. The guy pretending to want the stock to go down so he can buy cheap shares is pretending to be confident and it makes him look scared. He is worried about lack of contract news just like everyone else (and he also realizes that if a contract exists that is worth anything we wouldn't be seeing dilution and insider selling).
Why do you think there will be news tomorrow?
Hahaha what a scam I haven't checked this board in months I can't believe I'm seeing the same BS. I can't wait till the SEC gets the promoters here. I feel bad for those people naive enough to invest in this we need a better SEC to protect less sophisticated investors that invest in this type of scheme.
Ha well that makes me feel a lot better and certainly proves that all is well. Just ignore the curious timing of the sales and have faith in people and in a plan in which I know no details. Nice strategy we will be rich soon using this sort of investing strategy.
Please explain how this is legal. They sold the day before the company released news which would harm the share price. Either they were not aware of the upcoming news (which is unbelievable) or they traded based on material nonpublic information. Or was it just a coincidence that they decided to sell shares the day before this news of dilution?
You are giving horrible investment advice. New news today that insiders were selling the day before they released the news of dilution. They seemed to have sold shares with the knowledge of the impending news that would cause a reduction of the share price. This is blatantly illegal imo and I wouldn't be surprised if there was an SEC investigation. Insiders are allowed to sell shares but not based on nonpublic knowledge of material information.
I agree this stock chart has been horrendous. But the valuation here is incredible. I don't know when oil prices will stabilize. However I am certain that this stock is worth much more than a dollar a share.
No unfortunately I haven't heard or seen anything. Investigations can take time it could be awhile until charges are filed. Don't worry I was originally duped as well. Lesson learned no more OTC stocks.
How are the insider trading numbers anything but negative? They do nothing but sell their shares. If they were aware of impending big contracts I suspect we would see a different trend. Why do you want retail investors to buy from insiders who don't seem to have much faith in their own company?
The institutional holdings numbers are better than I thought but still bad. Most shareholders are retail investors who think the idea is cool and who think they found a goldmine but don't realize that they seem to be donating to a research institution rather than investing in a company who plans to return value to shareholders anytime soon.
In the meantime please let me know if there is reason to believe that any pharmaceutical company is interested in these liver tissues because I have seen no evidence whatsoever.
This company should not be traded on the Nasdaq it doesn't seem to be anything but a research organization all I see is pr's about presentations and collaboration with academia.
Increasing institutional holders? Last I saw this was almost entirely retail. Is there information I'm missing? I could be wrong but I have seen very little interest in this stock from institutions.
Overall I've been following this stock for about a year and I've been invested for much of that time. I spend a lot of my free time researching the company and the technology. And unfortunately I think it's time to sell. I wish it wasn't so but I don't use hope as an investment strategy.
I want to own the stock more than anything. I want to believe in the story. Unfortunately reality might be different. This company has not demonstrated any potential for significant returns until far in the future. As far as I can tell the only hope for significant returns is when they can create organs and this won't happen for many years.
When the company demonstrates that it is more than just a research organization I will own the stock again. If there are customers for their liver tissues then they need to tell investors who have been investing in the company in hopes of returns. Unfortunately I have seen no evidence of significant demand for these tissues. I have seen misleading statements of how great their tissues are in an effort to keep retail investors interested in order fund their research program. Perhaps the reason that we don't hear about any sales or interest in these tissues is because companies really don't see the benefit of using these tissues for testing liver toxicity?
Not a good day for GWPH.
Where did you hear this about Kerrisdale?
Where did you hear this?
I sold at 77 as well I think there will be retracement but I'll buy in again in the low 70's where we have resistance from October and November.
Why is GWPH up so much today?
What news is this?
Ok look at my posts from a few months ago I was pessimistic about HERO. However I think we could be nearing buy time. First of all I see HERO as a takeover target due to its low book value. Historically when oil prices fall there is consolidation of the industry. Big oil companies looking to buy shallow water rigs might see HERO's fleet as a good deal. Also I like the 1 year chart RSI entering oversold. Soon weak hands who are afraid of OPEC will be gone and we'll see the bargain buyers who recognize that oil prices will one day return to normal. Just my opinion. I see problems as well such as a breakout from recent descending triangle and an aging fleet. Anybody have any opinions I'd appreciate your thoughts.
He does have an influence over short term stock movements but we can't blame him for everything it makes longs look weak. If Globalstar has what they say they have they will make a rediculous amount of money no matter what the critics say. If they don't they will be bankrupt (not management of course). It's that simple don't worry so much about critics actually we should encourage critics to identify issues with companies to help keep them honest as long as they do so ethically.
How did he email you did the FBI return the computers that were taken as part of their criminal investigation of Fusion Pharm for suspected fraud?
Hello. I have a question about dividends. I really appreciate the help.
I understand that on an ex-dividend date a stock price will generally be lower by the price of the upcoming dividend. Since this is the general rule (though I know it doesn't always work this way), what is the point of even investing in dividend stocks if any gain from the dividend will be canceled by the stock movement lower?
The press release about the ExVive3D commercial release includes the following sentence:
"Initially, clients will be able to access the technology through Organovo's contract research services program."
The term "clients" seems to imply to me that there are already paying customers for these liver tissues. Does anybody have any educated guess or information about who the clients might be? I know ONVO has worked with companies such as Roche and Janssen R&D in the past (as well as NIH) but I am not aware of any information about a current paying client for these tissues. Anybody have any thoughts or information?
Also what evidence is there that companies actually want these tissues (other than Organovo information that the companies could save money by testing early drugs on these tissues)?
Does anyone here know a timeframe for the fcc decision?
Yes I see there are companies in 3d bioprinting but I can't find any companies that are selling tissues for drug testing (not saying they don't exist but I haven't found any). What about the patents? Do they protect us from competition in any way? We have several that I can find.
Yes but what about competitors that aren't publicly traded companies.
Does anybody know if there are other companies that are selling a similar product? I know there are others doing research but I'm wondering if there are other companies with 3d printed tissue on sale. Also what do ONVO's patents actually protect relative to the competition? I can find several patents on the USPTO site but as a non scientist I don't really understand what is protected. Thanks to anybody that can help with these answers. I own some options but am thinking about increasing my stake in light of the recent news.
It is a scam you obviously know they are going nowhere. The people who took our money will go to jail. All of the scam artists on this board are also in more than a little bit of trouble. Sorry but that's what you get when you scam strangers. There will be people like me who won't go away and will continue pressing the sec and fbi until there is justice. Scammers the authorities are after you better enjoy our money while you can. If you commited a crime you will be caught this is not the wild west we live in a civilized society and there are consequences for your actions.
It's been awhile since we've heard anything. Do the stock promoters (and company personnel) who post information on this board without properly disclosing their company affiliation have any new information that you'd like to share?
How exactly would we get the money back? I also fell for this scam early on until I realized what was going on. I have heard of investors getting some money back in scams (pennies on the dollar often) but I don't know the mechanics about how this happens.
