Good afternoon Aaron....
Very nice call on CRIS, do you think the TRTN news will have a significant effect on their share price?

Good afternoon Biophans...
Krays...I've accumulated a share or two...the past week or so.
ole bub and the dawgs
Good morning ladies...
Anyone have any thoughts on ABMD's chart...I'm not a chart fella...but it looks damn tasty to me.
ole bub and the dawgs
Good afternoon Biophans...
We know our technology works, however I'm less convinced our management does...JMHO
Krays...the stent market is rapdily expanding and evolving eventually BIPH's licenses with BSX will begin to generate royalty revenues...the question is...will there be a company left to receive those revenues?
Note the new Extent drug eluting stent recently received the CE mark for Europe...a desperately needed stent and yet Extent's financial viability remains in doubt...sound familiar...JMHO
I maintain a core position however my faith in the competency of Biophan's management is waning...JMHO

Our thoughts and prayers reach out to the Portner family, as they grieve their loss.
Much obliged...Wald for sharing...

Welcome back Dr. Tet...kwit yur bellyakin...ya big baby...damn millionaire doctors cruising with the lil woman...what about us ole bald beady eyed fat pharts...take a number for the "give us some damn guidance" line...LOL

Here's an interesting link pholks may wish to bookmark and keep an eye on...specialty medical associations are an excellent source of useful and insightful information.
http://www.ctsnet.org/
The new product box on the right hand side is of particular interest.
I visit several of these sites and forums, seems few medical professionals are aware of Biophan or the MyoVad CSS...perhaps we should raise their awareness?

Good afternoon Otterman...
We all feel your pain, however as a shareholder of record we all have a responsibility to vote our shares.
Disillusioned shareholders of record who didn't vote are a major obstruction to a quorum for the company and the remaining shareholders.
It's your corporate shareholder duty to vote...please do so.

Damnit Tech...you feel like I look on a good hair day...LOL
ole bub and the dawgs
Good afternoon...Biophans
Not to worry, like other longs I'm hanging in there...that doesn't mean we like being kept in the dark...JMHO
Be careful what you wish for Krays...you may get a chance to vote those shares...in hindsight I suspect a new registration would have passed...especially if we had realistic guidance...JMHO
The mismanagement and absence of information does not instill shareholder confidence in our management...JMHO
If pholks use a self directed brokerage account...please make sure you are set up to vote electronically on proxy issues.

Good afternoon Biophans...
Howdy Kindo...better wear your shades if you visit here often.
Despite the absence of realistic guidance, the company appears to be making progress albeit slowly.
Yes...I am still long a significant amount of Biophan shares.

I agree Krays...
I've been long and an ardent supporter of Biophan over five years...however there is no reason management can not provide the guidance we all need to evaluate the positions we have.

Meanwhile countless shareholders suffer even greater losses of capital and credibility with friends and family in the company's absence of realistic guidance necessary to prudent investment decision making...JMHO

Nice work pholks, several months ago this link to a FDA protocol hearing for acute cardiac arrest trials surfaced, note that Biophan and Medtronic sponsored that hearing.
http://circ.ahajournals.org/cgi/content/full/118/15/1585
I think a joint development/distribution deal with MDT or perhaps a license is more apt to happen than a merger...don't forget MDT paid nearly a half million in consulting fees to BIPH last year, according to the latest 10Q...JMHO
Nice to have patent protection for the MyoVad, CSS...JMHO
ole bub and the dawgs
Christopher...
I believe link you are referring to is a video of Dr. Lowe of Duke Medical school discussing the MyoVad and how it saved the life of Bonnie Tukes. Miss Tukes, a teenager with a chronic infection of the myocardial tissue, under a humanitarian FDA exemption she was placed on the MyoVad while her heart was treated for the infection, after a week or so her heart was able to resume its normal function.
Bonnie Tukes survived and is a mother ...a most impressive and poignant case study.

Thank you Christopher, for your insightful and illuminating comments. I agree.
Welcome to the IHUB Biophan board, I look forward to your future posts.

Much Obliged...Jon...
I'll forward that article to my Mother...I could use some extra oxygenation myself.
ole bub and the dawgs
Good afternoon Biophans...
Much obliged Molecule...for pointing out an error in my earlier post...I should have said Biophan's technologies will improve, prolong and save lives...although Bonnie Tukes might argue with both of us.
My point is one of perspective...anyone in the Cath lab undergoing an angiogram understands the difference between a five foot guidewire catheter in their groin and a 15 minute MRI procedure...not to mention the cost differential...JMHO
ole bub and the dawgs
Good morning Biophans...
After five years of owning Biophan, watching it slide to one percent of its three year high, its no wonder I have both drug eluting and bare metal stents in my coronary arteries. To those belittling the BSX license...the promise of the BSX imaging license is huge to pholks with occluded stents.
My Mother is a candidate for a VAD, very soon...Biophan's technologies save and prolong lives...enough said.
In for a penny in for a stent or two...
ole bub and the dawgs
Good evening Biophans...
Nice work...Pal...Krays and Chuckie...thanks Tech for the attic link...who's that ugly bald beadyeyed dude in the cheerleader outfit...at least he has hair unlike MBDD...LOL
Oh Lord...please let there be one more Biophan boosh...sis boom bah
ole bub and the dawgs
Good afternoon Pal...
I seem to remember BIPH licensing two of the three imaging options to BSX, one of which involved the "architecture" of the the stent design to minimize Faraday issues which obscure imaging.
The new BSX "Element" DES specifically mentions it's architecture enhances visibility...sure sounds like BIPH pixie dust to me?
http://www.ptca.org/news/2009/0203_BSX.html
Note the second sentence of the third paragraph.
ole bub and the dawgs
Good morning Biophans...
Agreed Krays...I suspect many of the shareholders of record from July 25 have sold and taken their losses...and not apt to vote in the affirmative...especially with no guidance...JMHO
Thanks to Pal and Uphillride for clarifying the financials...let's not forget about the BSX licensing fees or the MDT consulting fees...too much sunlight can be blinding...JMHO
Seems one of our DES stent imaging licenses with BSX was based upon architecture designed to eliminate the Faraday effect, my memory is not what it used to be...any ideas?
ole bub and the dawgs
Good afternoon Biophans...
Much obliged Krays...for the update on the adjourned special meeting...
Anyone know why NNAN is up the past few days?

Pretty damn pathetic when we have to provide our own due diligence and guidance...JMHO
Opportunity cost...example if we had guidance...interested pholks could have bought PYTO last week for 2.5 cents and sold it today for 20 cents...much obliged to BIPH management for mismanaging guidance and information while helping us minimize our investment returns in these dreadful times...JMHO
ole bub and the dawgs
Good morning Biophans...
Agreed Wald...here's an interesting link to BSX's clinical trials for the "Element" stent platform...thanks to Terry for posting this link on IV.
Note the second sentence of the third paragraph...
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Boston-Scientific-Begins-prnews-14233943.html
Amazing how we continue to languish without news or guidance...and pholks wonder why our share price remains depressed. Today's economic business term is "opportunity cost"...the opportunities lost resulting from funds dedicated to a lessor performing asset...enough said.
Go Biophan...sis boom bah
ole bub and the dawgs
Good morning Biophans...
Agreed Molecule...hindsight is 20/20...and Monday morning quarter backing is always easier than standing in the belly of the beast. As Crazy Horse so aptly stated..."it's easy to brave from a distance".
I fault our co-opted milquetoast Board of Directors equally for their dereliction of duty and failure to provide oversight and counsel to senior management, especially given the Weinerman's obvious lack of business acumen...JMHO Regarding the egregious mistakes of Biophan's past...in the final analysis it's spilled milk...JMHO
Even a blind hawg finds an acorn now and then...the MyoVad CSS...looks like an acorn to me...perhaps it will grow into a live oak tree?
Best guess...JL is a competent engineer...however his business communicative skills appear dubious at best. We are a public company and entitled to accurate guidance...enough said...JMHO

Go Biophan...
ole bub and the dawgs
Good afternoon Biophans...
Agreed MBDD...pholks should call the company and voice their opinions.
Our diversified shareholder base has eroded significantly, many loyal Biophans have lost their life savings, homes, and retirement accounts, while incurring huge opportunity costs...meanwhile the company seems oblivious to our repeated requests for accurate guidance...enough is enough.
ole bub and the dawgs
Good morning Biophans...
Agreed Pal...TandemHeart is not the complete package but the implications are clear..."know your competition" and "if you snooze you lose"...both axioms of business management...JMHO
Several LVAD devices compete in one or two areas...but none offers the ability to be implanted on the battlefield or in the ambulance by trained EMT's...the ease and speed of implant by thorachotomy and the absence of blood contact are major competitive advantages. The stem cell therapeutic applications are significant also...JMHO
Perhaps Dr. Tet can weigh in on this discussion...
Go Biophan...
ole bub and the dawgs
Good morning Biophans...
Interesting post Dr. Tet...I've been watching ABMD and THOR for some time now...ABMD appears to be a better fit for a joint developmental partnership with Biophan...JMHO
The market seemed to like ABMD's angioplasty Impella simulator and presentation the other day. Neither company appears to have a VAD product which directly competes with the MyoVad CSS, for cardiac arrest, AR, or avoids blood contact...JMHO
Much obliged and major kudos to Krays for posting the ABMD simulator post and patent updates...nice to finally have some news we can use...JMHO
I watched the video you posted...life is too precious to waste on an adrenaline thrill...JMHO
Go Biophan...sis boom bah...

Thanks for asking Dr. Tet...howdy Chuck...
Knock on wood, I still have power, however its far from over...looks like folks in northern Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma got the worst of it so far...
Five years ago this month I began accumulating Biophan...my first purchase was 12,000 shares at a buck and a quarter more or less...those were the days...
If you see two southbound rottweilers driving ole bub's Tundra, send em back to pick me up...Sheba is a terrible driver...Rocky is even worse...LOL

Good morning Biophans...
One of those .0135 trades was me doing a little housekeeping...
Hopefully serious money for a serious joint development deal will bring in a new generation of "pholks" from our new developmental partner whose shareholders will likely pounce on our ridiculous share price...JMHO
Our once broad shareholder base has eroded to a fraction of its original diversity...thanks to the mismanagement of information and absence of substantive guidance...JMHO
ole bub and the dawgs
Agreed MBDD...death spiral mega dilution with a nano share price...naturally...we muffed it. At least Biophan got the Nanoset patent suite...which is some small consolation.
Go Biophan...
ole bub and the dawgs
Good afternoon Biophans...
Thanks for the update on CF...Tech...I'm so pleased to hear she is enjoying the ski slopes whilst my five thousand dollar investment in NNAN has disappeared in the death spiral of a toxic financing avalanche...JMHO
I remain long and optimistic about BIPH and dismally disgusted with NNAN...enuff said...JMHO
Go Steelers...Go Biophan...
ole bub and the dawgs
Good morning Pal...
Important to remember that Abbott has access to the BSX/Biophan license by virtue of their financing arrangement with BSX in the Guidant acquisition. In effect Biophan has two imaging licenses the primary exclusive with BSX and a co-operative license with Abbott. Important to note that Dr. Gregg Stone is the chief of clinical trials for the next generation of DES at BSX...JMHO
Not sure about that stem cell hot tub...however the Myo-Vad offers a modality of therapy for stem cells repair of damaged myocardial tissue...
