This sucks. Oh well. Ride 'em cowboy! Lol
I'll make more money on other plays...hopefully.
Lol...well you can imagine that beaucoup is pretty popular down here in NOLA...as well as many other Cajun French sayings. We don't have boom boom, but I get what it's knocking at, lol
And whatchoo know about beaucoup? Lol
What about lagniappe? We need some serious lagniappe with this investment!
That reminds me of that old 80s song "Mamase Mamasa Mamakusa" lol
Roger that. I plan on being in that number!
I agree, as well. We'll make good money here. Patience will pay off.
OOH-F**KING-RAH! 'Merica!
In the long run, Mierto, I think this will all work out fine for NBG - and all longs. If only we could play the volatility. This stock has been so hard to read, but I'm sure a few investors have made a killing here...not me, though. Lol
We'll see a rebound, but how low will it go? I'm waiting a few more days on another play. Whether it does or doesn't work out and this goes lower, I'll be shifting that money to NBG to average down. If we go up from here, I'll hold what I have.
That would be great - keeping the lion's share, that is.
I was thinking about that last night. The articles I have read have all said NBG will be divesting in Finns Bank. I wondered if that meant they would only be selling some of their stake. Why sell the whole cow when you can just sell some milk?
If they have 50B in assets, why will they only sell it for 3.4B? Are they only selling a portion?
I know it, but we have a lot more to lose; and our gov't is spearheading their exodus. "Rules for Radicals" is playing out before us and we cannot seem to stop it. It feels like WWIII is brewing!
Bawhaahahaha...yeah, no shit...mine too. If I die, my wife will be rich by the time she thinks to check on my stocks.
That's what I'm thinking. Even if we see $.50, I'll 2-4K shares. I screwed my average up last time I sold. I just want to have a better chance of at least breaking even within the next 2-3 months and maybe actually making some good money by 2017.
I bet we see .40s again, but I'm too scared to sell my shares now! I'll try to average down.
Or worse with the Syrian immigrants coming in
At least Bush seemed as if he actually loved his country. I can't wait for a turnaround in America. At least the bs in Greece makes our situation look like a walk in the park.
Where's the very good part?? Lol
It's ALL an issue! We've stuck with it this long. What's it matter now?? Lol. Average down, and ride it out.
Held pretty good into the close yesterday, but it looks like we're going down pretty good this morning. What gives, now?
Bawhaha! That's right
So, why halt trading just for that??
That's what happens when you get yourself in a financial jam. You lose out on the better opportunities.
My thoughts too
Just what I needed.
4 or 6 slice? Chrome or white?
One thing is for sure...We'll find out soon enough! Lol
Looks like we're about to get screwed
Down 15% in Greece! So much for a green week.
Oh wow. Nice!
Ah, good idea. I'll have to get alerts on them.
Thanks. I just saw it. I might take a small position for the heck of it.
I posted an article about it on Sunday. I haven't even checked them out yet. Is there an ADR?
It would be sticking the finger to the rest of us. That's not good for business, but then again, the Greeks haven't been doing what's good for business for quite some time now. In either event, I'll be here.
So, completely different pps relative to number of shares and current value of the company...?
If an ADR is a representation of the foreign shares and a company issues a set amount of shares, are the shares split between the ADR or is there a double float - one on each side of the pond. If there is a double float, does the company get twice the money for half of the shares (so to say)? If there is dilution, is it split between the foreign equity and the ADR floats or issued doubly?
That's above my pay grade. What ticker symbol would it be under if not in the same float? How can they issue common shares in anything other than the aggregate? If they can, that'd be great. I just don't understand how they could.
Seems to me that it will be appx. 1 billion new shares added to the float to cover a portion of the debt, but what of the remaining debt? Concerning dilution: We don't know how much downside is built into the current pps. Can they pull the pps up before diluting? They still have to bring it above a dollar for the ADR to stay on the NYSE.
Maybe the pps isn't diving yet because everyone else is asking themselves the same questions and nobody knows for sure.
I'm interested to hear some more educated/in the know answers on this as well.
When you think about it, 13 is a good number. A lot of things associated with the birth of America revolved around 13... Ex. 13 original colonies. I don't remember the other stuff off the top of my head, lol, but there was plenty. Also, if NBG hit $13...well...I'd be cutting backflips. Anyway, glad to help.
