If an ADR is a representation of the foreign shares and a company issues a set amount of shares, are the shares split between the ADR or is there a double float - one on each side of the pond. If there is a double float, does the company get twice the money for half of the shares (so to say)? If there is dilution, is it split between the foreign equity and the ADR floats or issued doubly?
