The sales of product is revenue. Any other sale, for instance a computer, is not revenue. MRIB's presentation seems to lump the two together and can be confusing. Only the sale of product is revenue.
Receivables Net are all the monies owed less what is anticipated not to be paid (bad debt). i.e. receivables less bad debt = receivables net.
Receivables can be all monies owed from sale of product plus any other sales. Ie the business may sell a car which is an asset but not sales of product.
Goods in transit usually means inventory purchased but not received. i.e.. FOB means freight on board. Meaning the sellers ownership ends once the product is shipped and then becomes the buyers responsibility.
MRIB long.
MRIB is for real! Get in now, avoid the rush! No scam. Just a great product and super management team that stays positive and works hard to get their product to market.
MRIB long!
MRIB is selling for less then a half a cent and I'm reading post after post that this is a lousy company. Oh no! How can that be! It owes money. Really - why didn't someone say that sooner. Please don't tell me their issuing more shares to pay for their operation. I can't take it. Oh, well. I'm sticking with them anyways. After all, someone has too.
MRIB long.
Convertible debt is MRIB's salvation. For a cash loan, MRIB will either pay it back in cash or give equivalent company shares. No one would lent a sinking ship for the possibility of getting useless shares. The lenders are not fools and probably took a good look at MRIB's situation before opening their pocket books. Now MRIB has working capital although they might sacrifice a part of the company.
MRIB long!
Agree. If anyone had done their DD they would have concluded sales would still be low after the 2nd quarter. It's from here on that MRIB must take off. The noted convertable debt is a good sign which indicates some high rollers have faith in the future of MRIB.
However, I understand why some would sour on this company. It definitely is high risk and right now it's only showing promise.
Still. MRIB long!
Not many longs left on this board. Wonder what happened to them. Most of the posts I read of late seem speculative at best and not very flattering of MRIB. I, on the other hand remain upbeat about MRIB. However, they still have a ways to go and its' PPS IMO is influenced by so many factors it is difficult to gauge their progress. Anyways MRIB long.
Just think for a sec. If Marani sells 1 billion shares tomorrow at an average price of 1 cent they will have 10 million dollars. To do that they need a mere 1000 investors to pay a mere $10,000.00(1000x10000 = 10,000,000). That's nothing. I might grab another million shares myself.
However, if Marani can generate good solid news then maybe they will raise the PPS to 2 cents or more and then release the shares.
I'm sticking with this company.
MRIB long!
Right on! This is a gutsy crew that has learned from their past and seemingly has put this company on the right course for success. There will be some bumps in the road but I believe in the near future MRIB ail be up 1000%.
MRIB long!
I only have opinion and in fact read most post trying to get a better take. The co. needs money. It's carrying a big debt. They are also trying to develop a solid business. All that takes dough. Note that all the float are second hand stocks. Whatever benefit MRIB received from their IPO is long gone and they reap nothing from you and I buying and selling. So what do you do? Sell more stock but IMO they would only sell about half so as to retain majority holding.
That said what they can sell and what they will sell and on what schedule is another thing.
Lastly, I think if all this comes to past it is exactly what one would expect had they been honest with themselves doing their DD. The revenue they get from startup is not enough to pay for more product to sell so they can get more product to sell etc. What is a realistic gross margin? 10 % 15%
MRIB will have its ups and downs for a while until revenue is sufficient to cover all its' expenses.
MRIB long!
P.S. I'm gone for the night. Have a good night.
WOW! Circle the wagons. No over reaction here. There is no dilution but it seems the A/S has increased. It's no secret this company was carrying a large debt. Now they have potentially a way to deal with it. Time will tell but I'm sticking long. MRIB has done way to0 much in the past year to fold overnight and I don't buy the scam theory. Look at the licenses, Cosco, other distributors, contracts and ads. It may take another year but I think success will be theirs. This is 2014 not 2008.
I'm not worried for MRIB. They're doing great! The stock is another story. IMHO MRIB stock is played with too many ways. All the good news is rapidly offset with a bit of bad news. That said, I'm impressed the stock is down just a little today, considering.
MRIB is not a scam. It's a business working hard to make a go of it. If they were misleading the investors as much as some would say they are they could be liable for prosecution.
MRIB long!
Mr. Berg. What you are suggesting is MRIB, an American based company, with a very visible location, a pubic company with many investors is a fraud or IMO so it seems. This would make the MRIB participants eligible for the "Big House." I will grant you that there is no sure thing about that as OJ will testify but to be sure their "lavish lifestyle" could be in jeopardy. You might be right but I doubt it. Right now I'll claim their claims are real so as the saying goes, time will tell.
MRIB long! and goodnight.
MAybe. MAybe not. My big concern is not the MRIB management team but other investors. IMHO this stock is played with in more ways then my knowledge allows me to understand. You might be right but right now I see a penny stock trying to make a go of it with a good product. The PPS of this stock is a penny. It's a big risk. Expecting perfection is IMHO nutty. MRIB long!
I agree, not. Licenses, contracts, retail sales, ads.,national distribution etc. IMO MRIB has just begun. I base that on all the facts not just selecting data to support my point of view. MRIB long!!!!
The history lesson has to do with change. If you didn't like the past, learn from it and change or you will repeat it. That's what MRIB did. Success is theirs. MRIB long.
I agree. Just having some fun! MRIB long!!!!!
I'm not that interested in history. What's your call today?
I don't recall anyone from MRIB saying Brazil is a dead issue (although several comments on this hub claim that). Wait and see.
MRIB long
MRIB is real. Yes it has recently dropped from about 5 cents a share to where it is now but that was after it rose from about .0001 a share. Hang in there MRIB longs. The results of their efforts are coming and IMO they will be great. States don't easily hand out liquer licenses. Costco doesn't need a co. with problems. And an ad campaign will start soon. Etc, Etc. This is 2014 not 2009.
MRIB long
Correct!!!! Wait till we get reports on the results of their efforts over the past year. If good, and IMO they will be, this stock will soar.
Now there's some great info that will be twisted into a cup half empty analysis. Mrib is doing just fine. I'm staying long even though this stock is being played more ways then I can imagine. Sooner or latter their efforts will come to fruition and leave behind all the shorters and flippers etc. Anyways, I can't see myself cheering for a company (or people) to do badly. It's just not me. If I thought a stock sucked I would go find another stock.
Go MRIB!
I really don't think MRIB is going to fold in the near future. IMO the best is yet to come. Costco has reordered and double the stores it will be available in. A national ad campaign is about to begin. The PPS right now sucks but it will reverse. This company needs a constant infusion of good news to pump it up. That being absent investors lose confidence and flippers and shorters take advantage. Sooner or later we will get results of MRIB's efforts. Until then I'm not selling. MRIB long!
MRIB circus is coming to town soon! It's coming in on a money train. All longs get ready. Shorts????
MRIB long.
There appears to be no shortage of buyers for MRIB. I think I'll hold and wait for some results from all they have done in the past six months. I have a feeling I will be rewarded in the near future.
P.S. Has anyone ever read the power of negative thinking? Stay focused on the positive - MRIB has plenty of it. Go MRIB!
Despite MRIB being frustrating and even boring, I'm sticking with it. If shares are being diluted to cancel old debt I view that as a positive. IMO those accepting shares as payment do so with reasoning that those shares will increase in value in the future. It's an investment.
I don't think this is a scam - too many parties are involved. I just feel it takes time to develop a company, especially one that has rose from the ashes. And if I'm wrong I'll move on knowing a stock selling for less then 2 cents is super risky.
In the meantime, everyone, be calm. IMHO the best is yet to come and anyways it ain't over till the fat lady sings.
This stock will move up or down significantly when we see results in dollars. Good results will move it up. I'll be patient till then.
Go MRIB!
MRIB long! My take is MRIB has reflected on its past and made some changes to try and have success in the future - like branding their product, licenses, Costco, Brazil, D.R., Mexico, developing a varied product line etc, etc. MRIB's lousy past is indisputable which is why they changed. You don't need to be Einstein to understand change is what distances us from a bad history.
MRIB long!!!
Does that say it all, or what! Great job!!!
Go MRIB!!!!
Go MRIB! Thanks for all your info and upbeat messages. Investing is not a game of luck but of intelligent analysis - knowing the difference between facts and nonsense.
That's it! The company has done all it could to get their product out there and seems to be continuing the effort. However, you can put the product in every store in America but if no one buys it you are doomed. I'm gambling this product will catch on so I'm staying with it. And I doubt if I'm alone. This stock is being watched closely and if any good news comes along it will zoom. MRIB long.
After reading this assessment and the others you made I decided to buy more MRIB on Monday.
MRIB management is the greatest! New licenses, Brazil, Mexico, D.R., Costco. etc., etc. And more to come. I'm contacting the Pope for sainthood consideration. Go MRIB Management.
Anyone else see it that way?
Well said! If this company fails it's not for want of trying. Right now, IMO, many are sitting on the sidelines with a wait and see attitude. When fruits of their labor start showing, and it will, this stock will take off.
Go MRIB!
MRIB is up almost 100% since March. Great investment opportunity for those who can see the big picture and not get sidetracked by meaningless conjecture.
MRIB long!
Manipulation, can be for or against is true but either way it is unethical and sometimes illegal. Letting the market decide is the way the market was designed. Anyone interfering for their own gain is not really classy, IMO, but when there is money on the line I guess we often find the worst in humans. Don't you agree?
I like this buy back theory more then the dilution theory although neither seems to have much support in reality. But think. If I was diluting I would like to do so when the PPS is high, not low. If I'm buying back I would like to see PPS at a low. And if the buy back is correct I would think, in my opinion, that those buying back are anticipating a big gain in the future.
Good post!
Agree. Something is just not right. Despite some red flags this company seems to be putting it all together but if the pps is an indicator, it is to no avail. There is no scam here so I'm scratching my head for an answer.
MRIB, as a company, is moving along just fine. It's branding its name and distributing its product. At the same time it's making the right adjustments to increase its sales potential. PPS will increase when sales figures become known (and there will be sales). Till then, I'm holding. It's easy to conjecture on what they could do or should do but knowing business is difficult under any circumstance I'm impressed with what their doing and at the rate their doing it. HOLDING.
Thanks for keeping me up to date on the past.
