Trump Administration “Unlikely” to Go After Marijuana States, Says Press Secretary Sean Spicer

Or Option E: The majority of OTC traders are ridiculously impatient without the slightest inclination of what it takes to run a normal business, never mind running one in the midst of a hostile political environment.

CBDS is showing some nice buy signals: http://www.allotcbb.com/quote.php?symbol=cbds
High Times article mentions CBDS:
http://hightimes.com/business/cannabis-industry-wrestles-with-copyrights-and-trademarks/
And, from a few days ago, the LA Times (with a great, front-and-center photo): http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-marijuana-trademarks-20170104-story.html
Please. That's barely 1% of his holdings. It's nothing. Maybe he has some bills to pay or something. He's clearly still fully invested in this baby. Besides, it looks like plenty of the other insiders are buying.
I keep asking myself the same question. Five dollars? That's it!?
With one of the first high THC cannabis patents in the nation's history? With one of the most knowledgeable, experienced, well-connected teams in the entire industry? With the hi Benefits card? With, as Fortune put it, the best branding in the sector? Dispensaries? Wild Earth Naturals? Gravel? Tobias? Gray? Downing? How in the world is this thing not trading at five or ten times as much?
Answer IMHO: It will. We just need a bit more patience.
Long and strong $CBDS!
Yeah, I still can't believe this! I'm guessing after the New Year (next week!), we'll start seeing some major action here.
There is no relationship...at least that I'm aware of. Sometimes news referring to "Cannabis Sativa" the plant, extract, etc. will get incorrectly filed under the company (Cannabis Sativa, Inc.).
I'm back in. I think this is one of the rare few that has a chance of recovery. Loading up here could be a real game changer.
CBDS Awarded Cannabis Patent
Promise made. Promise kept.

Looks like a great entry point here. Anything around $5 is a steal in my opinion.
Time: 7 Reasons President Trump Is Unlikely to Fight Legal Marijuana
http://time.com/4594445/legal-marijuana-trump-sessions-policy/
Here's the number one reason why Trump/Sessions will never reverse legalization--and why the states will never let them:
International Business Times: Marijuana Legalization: California Looking At $1B Tax Bonanza From Legal Pot

"If you survey the American people, including Trump voters, they're...in favor, in large numbers, of decriminalizing marijuana," Obama said. "I do believe that treating this as a public-health issue, the same way we do with cigarettes or alcohol, is the much smarter way to deal with it."
http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/features/obama-on-his-legacy-trumps-win-and-the-path-forward-w452527
"The market for marijuana products is set to explode from about $2.7 billion in 2018 to $8 billion two years later, according to Arcview Market Research. That kind of growth is reminiscent of opportunities in the technology, biotech, or social media industries. The budding sector also presents risks as laws continue to change in response to the most significant social experiment since Prohibition. Wise investors will consider setting aside some risk capital to profit from the opportunities that will arise with America’s newest cash crop."

"Investor skittishness means than some marijuana-related stocks have been undervalued in comparison with their money-making potential. But that also makes them potential acquisition targets."

Jesse Ventura believes Trump will let states decide:
"Despite being a member of the Independent Party and holding onto frustration that Trump won the presidency while losing the popular vote, Ventura remains hopeful the president-elect won’t get in the way of legalization. 'He’s indicated that he wants to leave it up to states’ rights, which is fine,' said Ventura. 'Let each state decide whether they want marijuana legal or not, and I guarantee you eventually all 50 will do it because of the money.' Colorado, a state where recreational marijuana use is legal, saw $66 million in marijuana sales tax over the last year."

Legalized Marijuana Could Drive A New Tech Boom

What's next? Any ideas? The future of CBDS, in my opinion, looks exceedingly bright: "It is our ambition to brand and market the highest quality, legal cannabis products – and to innovate for tomorrow. We foresee a future where the hi Brand is synonymous with the highest quality and best value in the cannabis space; a vision we plan to support through aggressive marketing and strategic alliances."

Sessions is a pussycat. I doubt he'll even get confirmed. GOP will pushback and Trump will select someone more reasonable. Even if he does get confirmed, the GOP congress has already (twice now) removed funding for the Justice Dept. to go after marijuana businesses.
Trump to let states decide. Way too much potential tax revenue to turn back now. MJ legalization at the federal level will prove to be a major boost to the U.S. economy. Pro-MJ is pro-America.
RSI shows CBDS way oversold! Excellent buying opportunity here!

Pot legalization marches ahead; Trump calls it ‘state issue’
http://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/marijuana/pot-legalization-marches-ahead-trump-calls-it-state-issue/
It's the Brexit effect. Nothing but a temporary panic. It won't last. Excellent buying opportunity.
Only a fool would believe that President Trump is going to try and reverse all the states' new pot laws--only a damn fool.
Here's why:
1.) IT’S NOT HIS POSITION: He's already said that he will leave it up to the states.
2.) OTHER MUCH HIGHER PRIORITIES: He will have thousands of things to do and battles to fight once he's president, and there is nothing in his past or from his campaign to even remotely suggest that he wants to waste his political capital taking on the legislatures of multiple states to reverse marijuana policies in those states.
3.) HE’S HIS OWN MAN: Trump has given every possible indication that he is his own man and, therefore, the idea that a conservative AG (Giuliani, Christie, etc.) is going to push Trump to take on a battle that he has no interest in fighting is a nonstarter.
4.) ENOUGH GOP SUPPORT: Besides, even if he wasn’t his own man, there are scores of Republicans in Congress and in state legislatures across the country that support legalization and there is nothing to suggest that he would now all of a sudden want to reverse his position on pot to take on people in his own party.
5.) GLOBAL RESEARCH-BASED SUPPORT: This is not a U.S. phenomenon. With science effectively changing how humans understand cannabis, countries around the world are legalizing marijuana in record numbers. Again, Trump has shown no indication that he is interested in going against a global groundswell of support for something that he did not campaign on and cares little about.
6.) COULD CRIPPLE HIS PRESIDENCY: Finally, it’s extremely unlikely he could reverse it even if he tried. Marijuana legalization is long past some random Colorado-outlier status. To try to go back now, or to have some aggressive federal agency crack down on the states could just as easily lead to a movement for his own impeachment.*
*What is FAR more likely is that Obama will reschedule it before Trump takes office--maybe even SOON now that so many more millions of Americans have voted for legalization.
Overseas markets may be down, but the S&P, Dow, Nasdaq are all GREEN!
S&P, Dow, Nasdaq are all GREEN!
From the article you referenced:
"Despite this strong move higher in the past two months, it doesn't mean the U.S. cannabis stocks are overpriced. If California approves recreational marijuana, this one change will triple the size of the legal U.S. marijuana industry. (California Legalization Will Triple U.S. Cannabis Market) After all, California is the largest state economy. If California was a country, it would be the eighth largest in the world.(L.A. Times puts California eighth) If California was a country, it could qualify to join the G-8. (Washington Post says California Could Join the G-8) So if a correction starts, I don't think you have to worry the marijuana cycle is over. I think it will trigger a few weeks of profit taking after which markets will head higher again."
This whole sector is so freakin hot it's about to blow all previous barriers.
And here's some schmuck analyst trying to swoop in to stop one ticker...collateral damage:
Don’t let the Market Makers steal your shares. Any downward pressure in the next few days is nothing other than MMs attempting to accumulate as much as possible as cheaply as possible in anticipation of a tidal wave of investment in the sector.
Yes. Also, the Market Makers attempting to accumulate as many shares as possible in anticipation of the election. They have to have shares to sell in order to ‘make a market’ (and a profit). Most of the downward pressure in these last few days is simply the MMs trying to load up on the cheap in anticipation of a tidal wave of investment in the sector.
Hold on to your shares, folks! This is just the Market Makers attempting to accumulate as many shares as possible in anticipation of the election. You have to remember, the Market Makers are in control 95% of the time. And they have to have shares to sell in order to ‘make a market’ (and, of course, make money for themselves). Any downward pressure in these last few days is simply the MMs trying to load up on the cheap in anticipation of a tidal wave of investment in the sector.
I'm still 100% convinced we'll see $10 before election day--minimum. This is the big one, folks. Nov 8 is the tipping point for the end of prohibition. Lifetime opportunity. Buy on the dips. CBDS$ Long and Strong.

It's not so much about where these cannabis companies are now or what they've gone through in the last couple years to get here. It's far more about how well they're set up to take advantage of the changes immediately ahead. And on that score, CBDS is one of the best positioned companies in the sector.
