The stock market finally had a good day. Perhaps the broad market sell-off is finally wrapping up? The bottom for the cannabis sector must be real close now, if it's not already here.
Meanwhile, according to Bloomberg, the legalization front is looking good regardless of the election outcome:
"Dana Rohrabacher, a conservative Republican from California who has said he uses medical marijuana to treat arthritis pain, told Fox Business recently that President Donald Trump was committed to legalizing medical marijuana after the midterm election, while leaving the question of recreational pot to the states. Attorney General Jeff Sessions has been a outspoken opponent of legalization, though reports suggest he may depart after the elections."

"If the Democrats take the House and Sessions departs, U.S.-focused pot stocks are likely to see a short-term surge, analysts say. Clarity on banking rules could help close the valuation gap between the U.S. stocks and their Canadian counterparts."

Really? Since when does 1.2% of shares held constitute "dumping" or "a bunch"??
Wow, looking oversold now for sure. Lot of support at this level too.

There's a ton of pro-cannabis investment articles in the news lately. I suspect there will be a massive run up prior to the November elections. Anyone have any thoughts on when that might start?

Investment In Marijuana Industry Has Grown 600 Percent so Far in 2018
"So much for concerns about a federal government crackdown. Viridian Capital President Scott Greiper spoke with Benzinga about data in the new report. There were 65 capital raises in the first five weeks of 2018, with an average size of about $19 million. Nine of them raised more than $50 million. The majority of the investments went to cultivation and retail operations. It’s happening in Canada, as well. Last year, companies anticipating the nationwide legalization of cannabis raised $2 billion. The country expects to make recreational marijuana legal this summer."

I call bullcrap on that 500M+ wall of asks. It doesn't add up. This has MM accumulation written all over it. Someone must know something to keep it down artificially like this for so long.
