Abattis Enters Into US$5 Million Standby Equity Purchase Agreement with Kodiak Capital Group, LLC
http://online.wsj.com/article/PR-CO-20140805-908732.html
"We're very excited to be partners with Kodiak and welcome their knowledge and investment with great prospects to capitalize on acquisition opportunities as they arise. We now have additional financial security to add value to the company on an as needed basis. We felt this type of financing was a good way to go as it defers dilution." commented Michael Withrow, Chief Executive Officer, of Abattis"
"He went on to say, "Kodiak recognizes that our business model offers best practices for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and wellness industries and our GDERS (grow, dry, extract, refine, sell) strategy spanning the entire industry supply chain from Sciences to Sales(TM) meets and exceeds industry standards for consistent quality, safety, and efficacy.""
"Ben Esque, a member of Kodiak's advisory board, said, "We look forward to assisting Abattis with their expansion throughout North America and making them a part of our sprouting portfolio of cannabis-related businesses.""

Starting to look like legalization is going to happen faster than we imagined.
Federal marijuana bill would legalize some cannabis strains
"A bill being introduced Monday in the U.S. House of Representatives could be Cox's ticket home. The three-page bill would amend the Controlled Substances Act -- the federal law that criminalizes marijuana -- to exempt plants with an extremely low percentage of THC, the chemical that makes users high."

Awesome. This is big news. Makes me wonder if Obama will use the legalization of marijuana as the "October surprise" this fall to influence the congressional elections.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/October_surprise
Either way, the end of marijuana prohibition is clearly coming. I just need to find a way to free up some cash to buy more CBDS shares before the sector really starts taking off. I guarantee you the sector wide spike from Colorado and Washington earlier this year is going to look like a pathetic whimper compared to what happens once prohibition ends. History in the making!

ALLOTCBB is currently listing CBGI as a "strong buy." Five Stars!
http://www.allotcbb.com/quote.php?symbol=cbgi
Great, the cheaper CBDS gets, the more I buy. But it will never see $2.00 again. In fact, if it closes below $5 in the next 6 months, I promise to never post here again.
Not sure when we'll here from Johnson again (hopefully soon!), but when we do, I suspect, given his storied career of making things happen, it will be with the kind of news that makes this $8 price look like a frickin steal!
Look, Gary Johnson is clearly presidential material:
http://www.ora.tv/larrykingnow/governor-gary-johnson-2-0_6fgx78az
CBDS couldn't be in better hands. Everyone just needs to relax, buy aggressively on the dips, and we can all get rich together. Before you know it we'll all be partying together in the CBDS mansion on the beach.
Big news: House votes to allow marijuana-related banking
http://news.yahoo.com/house-votes-allow-marijuana-related-banking-202956886--politics.html
This, in my opinion, is Congress getting ready for the big shift to legalization. The second half of 2014 is going to be huge for the whole sector. Don't get caught without your shares!

Gary Johnson Named To Medical Cannabis Payment Solutions Advisory Board
http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20140715005492/en
“Gary Johnson’s presence on our Advisory Board is a major addition to our company,” said Medical Cannabis Payment Solutions CEO Jeremy Roberts. “His formidable success and experience in both government and the private sector will provide an invaluable resource as we work with regulators, policymakers, and dispensaries to provide sensible and innovative solutions for the medical cannabis market.”
CBDS is quickly on its way to becoming the best connected stock in the sector (if it isn't already!).
Go CBDS! Go REFG!
Yeah, I saw that too. I'm thinking he must of meant, cannot be shorted easily. Because of the reduced liquidity on OTC.
Check out the new research report on CBDS:
http://smallcaptraders.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/CBDS-FR-BB-SCT.pdf
Very balanced. Identifies some great points and areas of focus. And makes me damn happy to be in on this early. Massive upside potential here with CBDS!
First off, that's not an "analysis." It's just the opinion of a short seller who is trying to make money by scaring people out of their shares, so he can buy them cheap.
Second, it seems his best argument against CBDS amounts to "ooo...somebody has a lot of shares....ooo...they could sell some at any moment...ooo...soo scary." If that's the best he's got against CBDS he better rethink his investment strategy and his career as an "analyst."
Finally, holding Steve Kubby's arrest as a negative holds about as much logic as holding the arrests of Martin Luther King as a negative against him.
Steve Kubby is a courageous leader who is fighting the good fight and his experience makes him a major asset to this team.
Do your homework before you come on this board with that crap:

Yet another great new interview with Governor Gary Johnson, new President of Cannabis Sativa (CBDS):
Gary Johnson: I’ve espoused legalizing marijuana since 1999
Jul. 09, 2014 - 5:10 - Cannabis Sativa CEO Gary Johnson on the legalization of marijuana and another potential run for President.
http://video.foxbusiness.com/v/3667071922001/gary-johnson-ive-espoused-legalizing-marijuana-since-1999/#sp=show-clips
Clearly, Johnson is now the guy to talk to on air about the marijuana sector. And as the 2016 presidential election gets closer and closer, Johnson will be the guy that reporters will want to get an alternative perspective from--all of which will bring NEW investors to CBDS and the sector!

And right NOW is the perfect time to get in--while it's CHEAP!
Long CBDS$$$
There was a RATIONAL reason for the increase: Gary Johnson as CEO is a game changer. This drop is irrational and, therefore, will not last. It's just shorting and panic selling. It is a great time to buy, however, for those who missed the run.
I can't believe all these weak hands selling. They're just giving their money away. Very ignorant, in my opinion. This will bounce before the end of the day. Mark my words! No one is getting my shares! CBDS will break its 52 week high before the end of summer.
Gary Johnson, the Presidency, and Cannabis
"Mr. Johnson has indicated that he would remove marijuana from Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act and issue an executive order pardoning non-violent marijuana offenders if elected President of the United States."
http://www.cannabisfn.com/gary-johnson-the-presidency-and-cannabis/
“The key to making money in stocks is not to get scared out of them.”
– Peter Lynch
This is just the beginning for CBDS.
I couldn't agree with you more. CBDS is just getting started. Technical analysis has its place, but what is happening here has very little to do with normal trading patterns. Seriously, anyone that Google's "Gary Johnson" in the news for the last few days and walks away thinking that the charts can still tell you when to sell doesn't understand how the rules of technical analysis were created in the first place. CBDS is an outlier.
"The stock market depends about as much on stock market analysts as the weather does on weather forecasters."
This will climb dramatically next week, and more steadily over the coming months. This is a very SOLID play at least until 2016.
CBDS is still on the rise. Today was not as remarkable as the last two days, but it's only because of profit taking, in my opinion. A lot of people have been holding this for a long time, faithfully averaging down with many of these dips. And I know many who just needed a little, well-deserved relief. I fully expect this to continue to rise over the coming weeks and months. Though I suspect next week is going to be particularly strong, as some people need a little more time to process what Johnson as CEO really means for CBDS and, frankly, for the sector. As a successful two-term Republican governor, he brings--for many people--a whole new level of legitimacy to this movement. I believe Tobias and the CBDS team has come up with a unique product, an ideal leader, and a solid leadership team with a wealth of diverse experience of their own. There's been a lot of focus on Johnson, and rightly so, but let's not forget all that Steve Kubby brings to the table here either. He's developed a unique strain of marijuana that will, I believe, help to set the CBDS line of edibles in a class by itself. Kubby also brings a wealth of political experience to the table (his Wikipedia entry is a very interesting read). And, of course, Kubby is the brain behind the patent that is still a possibility--and makes this a stock you'll want to be holding in advance, if (or when?) that comes through.
Anyway, those are my thoughts for the moment. There's a lot more to say about why I think CBDS is still significantly undervalued, which I will continue to share over the coming days and weeks.
Good luck to all. And happy 4th of July, Sativas!

Man, CBDS is going to go to the freakin moon!!
Yeah, totally. Definitely inspires confidence here. That's another thing that has been clear about CBDS from the beginning. This isn't about the money for these guys. It's about, as Johnson said, "changing the planet for the better."
Very good call. I figured there would be another end of the day run, but not quite so strong. I'm guessing this could easily run for a few more days before leveling off. Unless, of course, Johnson and Kubby start sharing their plans or, better yet, have one or two opening moves. We now know the media will be all over it, whatever they have to say.
Man, I sure hope an uplisting to NASDAQ is in the cards here. Not sure what all that requires or if it's even on the table, but that would be an epic win for CBDS.
Which is one of the lowest in the sector, another excellent reason to own CBDS.
Still raging:
USA Today:
Investors light up Cannabis Sativa
http://americasmarkets.usatoday.com/2014/07/02/investors-light-up-on-cannabis-sativa/
"Johnson, a two-term governor and former construction company owner, hopes to grow Cannabis Sativa into a major marijuana company as more states consider legalizing the drug."
Yeah, good point, that's exactly why I first got in and have been buying on every single dip. I think CBDS will be much safer given the background and expertise of these guys (not just Johnson either). Have you read about Kubby and the Kush team? Tobias knew exactly what he was doing when he put this together. This is easily the best play in the sector (though there are several other great companies too. In fact, Johnson is on the board of MDCN which I think will prove to be another great play).
