8 weeks ago I sold my 340,000 shares at 23 pps. Cost basis was 92 cents because I leveraged down over the past 5 years. Then I bought back 300,000 shares 31 days later at .30 cents. This was done to counter any capital gains I might have. Hope this strategy works. My plan is too sell half the shares for 3 dollars and hold the rest until brilicidin's full potential is realized.
Does anybody know when top line results are projected to come out?
I have good news for all the longs out there.
About 10 days ago I sold all my shares in IPIX after holding them for 5 years. I did this so that I could create a capital loss to offset some capital gains I have. Seems like a logical move but with my pattern in the stock market it seems like every decision I have made has been a bad one. I'm sure many know that one has to wait 30 days to reinvest in the stock so that the tax credit is legitimate. So I fully expect the Stock to rise tremendously before my ability to reinvest comes. My cost basis was 0.92 and I fully expect it to be above that before August 10th.lol
Well I think this may be good news for all the longs out there. I sold all my shares about 9 days ago so I could use the capital loss to offset some capital gains I have.i have to wait a total of 30 days to reinvest in ipix so that I can claim the deduction. Seems like every decision I've made in the market has been wrong so in keeping with this pattern I would not be surprised if something happens before August 9th my day 30 date where I can't buy in at the same low price as before. My cost basis was 0.92 so expect it to be above that soon.
I cant seem to understand why a country like India with the unprecedented Covid crisis going on has not tried to get IPIX to do a study in India.
I should they would foot the bill.
They have multiple research facilities. Surely the research community knows about Briliciden.
I would think that the study would be fast tracked instead of this constipated pace we are going through in the US. Totally baffling to me.
I am a long timer for the last 5 years and have not sold one share of stock to this point.
I strongly believe in the science, being a retired physician, but I've come to learn there are other forces that defy the scientific reality.
Can anyone give me their objective opinion on the odds of this stock succeding to the point where we hope it goes (40,50,70 pps) factoring in all the issues As well as the science?
starting to look like immunity is going to be short lived which will decrease the interest in a vaccine. B becomes more important for a fast, effective treatment with no significant side effects.

At 42 cents I just reached a milestone of a 50% loss since my cost basis is 0.94. Hoping in the weeks to come to soar ahead. I'm a long for 5 years.
Soon you will be posting "brick wall stuck at 2"
Nice to see todays action. My cost basis is 0.99 so I am down about now almost 90%. I wonder after these 5 years of holding the stock if I will ever see a profit.
If he and IPIX are still in business at that time would you promise to leave this blog?
If you watched the youtube video of Alex Trabecs interview (that I referenced in yesterday's post) you would hear him talking about sores in his mouth limiting his effectiveness. This is a common side effect from certain types of chemotherapy and radiation treatment for cancers.
It is called oral mucositis and is painful and debilitating. There is no effective treatment for it. Yet brilicidin appears to give great relief and possibly resolution to this problem. If somehow his physician could be made aware of this treatment I dont doubt that he could get access to it. What a story for IPIX that would be>
This reminds me, as a retired ophthalmologist, of the negative attitude towards intraocular implants for cataract surgery in the 1970's. Implants had been tried in England in the 1950's with disastrous results and many felt the same fate awaited patients who would receive implants 20 years later. The mood started to shift in a more positive way towards using implants after actor Robert Young (Father knows Best) testified before an FDA subcommittee in January, 1980 about how implants made it possible for him to continue and prolong his career. After his testimony the FDA recommended to take a more liberal approach in selecting cataract patients for implants.
I can see the potential of positive PR if Alex Trabec's doctor was contacted and notified of the existence of Brilicidin and treated him with it. It's no secret how personal stories of well known people can influence the attitude of something.
What a timely email about brilicidin from Dr. Bertolino.
Listen to and watch the youtube interview of Alex Trabec, Jeopardy's long time host. He says that he will continue to work the show as long as his body doesn't deteriorate to the point where he cant perform at a high level and that is already happening because of "SORES IN HIS MOUTH"(ie. oral mucositis) due to the chemotherapy treating his pancreatic cancer. I wonder if brilicidin was used for his problem if he would be with us longer.
I am a retired physician and believed (still do) that brilicidin has the potential for treatment in many different areas such as GI, staph resistant infections, ophthalmic applications for dry eyes and blepharitis and fungal infections. I was naive in not factoring in the reality of the business and economic challenges of a small biopharma
Startup.
My cost basis is 1.41 with about $310,000 invested. Holder for 4 years I have stayed longer with this disappointing stock than any other negative investment from the past because the science was good.
I am permitting myself to have a little hope that this nightmare is beginning to end.
please educate me
What are the reasons behind the nauseating pattern uf one run up and an immediate run down ? Is it just the shorts and/or MMs. Are these people making money on this or is there something else underneath all of this.
I am tired after 4 years of being long and and having a huge investment in this. I believe in the science but there must be some other alternative reality going on. Any thoughts?
Why did IPIX stop talking about brilicidin as a potent and new mechanism antibiotic with litte chance of resistance?

Wow. I just passed the 50% loss on investment.
I have been a long for almost 3 years. As I retired physician the science has justified a substantial investment. Unfortunately I was naive to the short culture and how they could manipulate stocks on OTC.
Now I find myself looking to become more liquid but I will not sell one share until significant rise in value. Just want to this for me this is frustrating and somewhat painful.
I wish I knew how long this tunnel will last.
I just bought 48000 shares. I plan to wait and let the science take its course over the next 3 or so years.
