"Either way is all the same to you right." Whatever that means, I guess it is. When your optimism of SFIV taking off becomes reality, we'll have something in common. 'Til then, not so much. Good luck!
Happy you have the capacity to wait four yrs. or more for a return on your money. Or, you have none of your money in this and time is all you have. Good luck.
I respect that. Curious if you have your money in this and how much you have loaded up with to be ready to cash in on the vaunted potential. My bet is Trump's four yrs. will have come and gone quicker than this realizes diddle. Keep believin' tho', bro. I hope you're right.
When was the last time you were in a bar and ordered a Stella and the bartender accepted payment in potential earnings? W/ 18 months of price slipping and a split, "potential" should already be turning to reality. It isn't.
It's gone from $7 + to 36 cents in a yr. and a half. That's pretty interesting. How much more interesting, if tanking is the definition of interesting, can it get?
Has anyone holding stock in this made any money? Any idea if/when you will? If holding, is it time to bail and sell and at least get something? It never moves, except when someone sells some. Thoughts? It's been 18 mos.
Valid point. Yrs. ago it was suggested to me two peters are better than one any time......... How prescient.
Any thoughts on why a two dollar stock just sits? No action but a hundred here and a hundred shares there sold.
Thanks. I didn't think the licensing thing worked just for stuff Hop on literally made and paid for, but as long as stuff brought in is legit, that's the main thing, I guess.
Now I am confused. Are you stating and confirming he is bringing in grey market, perceived as illegal, products? Since I don't want to be associated w/ anything illegal, would you please site specifics for me that the products are "grey" or illegal? It will really help me disassociate from anything illegal. I really need your help and direction on the legality. Looking forward to your help clarifying. Thanks.
Okay. What's the point? Like Sam's or Costco adds a proprietary value. What is is it? Shelf space? They're still selling private label Grey Goose, at their expense and profiting. They slap their own label on and now it Catholic for them and not for someone other application? Pls. explain the difference. Thanks.
Really think the CEO would risk messing with the feds after what he's experienced? Dumb, if he does. I sure wouldn't risk it. But, who knows? Stranger things have happened over the years, I sense.
Thanks for posting that. Here's what I read, from a major brokerage house...
US Markets, Monday, October 13, 2014.
This is a federal/bank holiday in observance of Columbus Day. Although this is a trading day, it is not a settlement day. Some Mutual Funds will not be trading on Monday, October 13, 2014.
The Bond Market will be closed. Fixed Income orders placed after 5 p.m. EST Friday October 10, 2014 will be entered for the next business day, Tuesday, October 14, 2014.
Global Markets..The Canadian markets are closed on Monday, October 13, 2014 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday in Canada.
GTC Canadian equity orders placed after the close of the US Market on Friday, October 10, 2014, will route to the Canadian exchanges on Tuesday, October 14, 2014. Day orders for Canadian listed securities placed after the close of business on October 10, 2014, for October 13, 2014, will be cancelled out at the end of the day on October 13, 2014. Dually listed Canadian stocks that trade in the U.S. markets will trade during U.S. market hours on October 13, 2014.
Additionally, option orders placed on Friday, October 10, 2014 will settle Tuesday, October 14, 2014.
Use caution when placing Mutual Fund trade orders. Although most funds will trade on Monday, October 13, 2014, some fund companies will not be open to accept purchases or redemptions. In this instance, your trade order will be executed at the next calculated price.
And, there ya go. Hop on likely will be static, but who knows what the future holds? No one.
GLTA
That likely would be a positive step. Too much dangling
on the dongle, imo, unless something like that happens. That'd likely add some confidence to folks hanging on.
The firm has a booth. Heck, it could be in the cocktail lounge. Who cares? The net is Hop on has confirmed exposure, in a global exhibition. That's a credible move, imo. Set aside perceptions of ineptitude, at least it is exposed to prospects and trying to do something positive. Better than sitting in Irvine blowing smoke.
That distills the setting well,imo.
Say what you will, which is your right. But, an individual (even the company "face" and CEO) saying they are attending is saying they are attending. No more. No less.
Many opinion sharers here combine Michaels and the company. In my opinion, just because Michaels says "he's" attending, doesn't necessarily mean the company is exhibiting. Many company owners and staff attend shows, but their firms don't have a formal exhibit. That's fact.
Did the rep of Hop on say the firm had a booth? Was exhibiting? I didn't read that in the feed. The president said he was attending. Heck, anyone can attend. If he doesn't walk in to view exhibitors, than your statement is valid. Not having a booth or exhibiting doesn't mean he won't attend.
I feel there are enough positive things going for the co. that a rs will not happen.
My friends on Linkedin say Michaels is well connected.
A post elsewhere said PM Skyped and he's in China. Said it's mid-morning there. We'll see if contracts follow. That would sure help.
Really, 15 years old info? It's Hop on related, but is something any of us did 15 yrs. ago, w/o legal penalty, still relevant? I don't remember that "bust" coming to any legal consequence. Could be wrong. Just don't see it germane to today, IMO.
I respect you can post what you want. But, the referenced post was a yr. and half ago. To me, that was then, this is now. What happens in today's world is what will impact the stock, imo. HPPN may be the same old same old, but I think the HPNN world has changed. Just my opinon.
My imagination or is the number of posts/posters dropped off? I came here at biz day end and it seems pretty quiet. The pro's and cons of Hop on's stock were always batted around pretty actively. Seems the price drop has leveled, but the close was painted, with what, an $8 trade. Maybe a lot of folks just gave up.
Hey,Pogie. It's been ages. Welcome back to the board.Gotta be years.
Same ol', same ol' HPNN....up, down and all around. 'Least there's been some spirited discussion.
To use an old Army phrase, "Roger that."
But, to give the stock a legit goose, you'd have to have one heckuva contract/announcement/deal to overcome the A/S and sell off to get traction. Can it happen? I have no insight, but to do it, there's gotta be some real, verifiable news, with attribution to a legit company, imo. Do I think that's that's gonna happen? Who the heck knows?
Plus one on your Merrill Edge suggestion. Last HPNN sells went through w/o a hitch. Think you need to be w/ them for some months, tho'
Hop on is
I sense you are a proponent, but why push for pr's? That's a tack of pump and dump, ride it and leave. If you really feel this is a hold and will go somewhere, it's gotta produce something. A release from a buying/contracted customer is the only way there will be credibility gained and stock price increase, imo.
Self-promoting pr's will only convey there's no real substance or real revenue production happening, just hopes. Not damning you and it's only my opinion, but I see streaming pr's, w/o tangible facts, a road to continued sideways stock prices/trading.
Just my two cents, which doesn't get ya much in today's world, come to think about it.....
Did some Nevada SOS digging. I know Hop on had been inactive and now is current or active. Weren't there some posts recently saying the bus. operating license for Hop-on Wireless was "permanently revoked" and nothing could be run through that company or something like that?
On the SOS site, almost right below the Hop on listing showing active, is Hop-on Wireless. It shows active. It would appear it's alive and active, not revoked, to my thinking. Not sure where the Wireless is fitting into things here or even whether it is. But, at least something tied to Hop on is not revoked.
Here's the link to the SOS site I came up with....
https://www.nvsilverflume.gov/businessSearch;jsessionid=PzcCTgpcJ3GdttyTG2yc9QSynnxN0Cd2nRHh2QP2vwV0nt2G1vdp!-403823349!1251302568
I typed in Hop-on Wireless in the business name box and all the info came up.
Gotta think this is a positive.
Trust is a must. If you don't like (Hop on and its risks,)take a hike. You pays your dough and you takes your chances.
Good luck to both the true believers, as well as the the non-believers. Welcome to pennyland.
Maybe they didn't. But, when it's Microsoft, why would it care? If the relationship potentially can add revenue to MSFT, I would guess MSFT's "give a darn index" is pretty low. The net? If the Hop on contract brings moola to MSFT, such is life. if it bombs, what's the loss to MSFT? That's my take.
Catch, ol' poster and long time truster/believer in this flier.
I get one post per day, so I'm unloading. Having perturbed the powers that be, I have been banned. I have been trashed by others, for my I opinions, but welcome to IHUB.
We've stood behind this, named by many as a POS, for some time. I have posted distractions and negatives; I have posted positives, for which I have be vilified. The net is everyone has to cast their dye.
This is not IBM. Hop on is a risk investment. But, I really feel there is solid opportunity for risk takers to make money. The net question is, isn't that why we are here?
Updated web site. Looked after seeing packages site you gave. The herbal patch part is listed in it. Good looking site. Here's the link. http://www.hop-on.com/Companies.aspx
Peter Michaels is a wonderful human being. He will lead many, via his astute leadership, to the financial promised land....
+1
What'd I miss? What's this Thursday?
You asked...."A delusional Peter.. I love it... but wait.. is there any other kind of Peter." Yes. Salt.
And, the answer is?
I will not say it is and I will not say it is not. Sincerely, K. Sebelius
