I haven't seen this here yet but if it has been posted, my apologies in advance for the duplicate. Might explain today's price drop.
CytoDyn, Humanigen, and Tiziana Life Sciences: Ticking Time Bombs, Impending Results Likely to Fail
https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2021-01-24/cytodyn-humanigen-and-tiziana-life-sciences-ticking-time-bombs-impending-results
I have simply been watching this stock and don't own any ..... yet. I do anticipate getting into this as soon as I can.
BB :)
My wife got into this with a few shares as we both work at home. Recently sold a house and have been in the process of a refi both using this product which worked quite well. I don't recall any issues.
The pandemic which has cause so many to work from home where feasible has shown that it is not a business death knell to have folks working remotely. DOCU might "flatten" out for a spell as this notion of remote working for many more sinks in. Once the commercial real estate market craps out, you'll see a ton more use of products like this one.
I have to agree with this post: "once you are thinking of an entry point this will be over $200 , you are thinking to much".
The race starts.............when?
Hilarious, we have a P&D person and two new aliases from today. One says "BUY" and the others are complaining. The entertainment value of this board is worth coming out of the dog house for. :)
IMO, you missed the apparent sarcasm in his post. I completely agree with your assessment on someone putting up a lot of money lately and somehow I don't think that was done for nothing.
Kiz, good points made and is why I am not currently in BICX. The focus of what they were trying to do kept shifting. I too made money on this play but I only keep an eye on it these days.
HA - it's Friday. :)
HA!
I don't know for certain and I think other criteria come into play also. I'm not surprised by this but one of these days that clock will start ticking towards an up listing.
IMO, it won't be summer... "sell in May, go away" (or whatever it is) tends to come to mind. More likely sometime after Labor Day and the market tries to move to the end of year.
New maff..... I'm telling you, it's wonderful.
I think you meant maff.
I'm excited, might be a decent re-entry point.
$5.75 and climbing - as the recovery continues!!
So as the stock price of company BICX continues to rise off the recent floor, what is it that you didn't understand?
Price rising into EOD.
A total disaster for shorts coming soon!
$5.75 high of the day.
How much further will it climb today?
How about next week?
Above $6.00?
Above $7.00?
This is looking better every day.
OUCH, price climbing, someone knows something. Shorts taking it you know where.
Agree, I may have sold out for the moment (I'll always watch it) but the entertainment value is worth my time. :)
We'll, I'm out with a small win. I do wish the longs good fortune here.
And some waaaaaayyyyy longer than two years.
IMO, it looks like Mr. Market doesn't care about this investment into the company.
Fortunately I unloaded during the last run up to .30, something I stated in the past. I did take a minor gambling position for the grant news and while I did not expect another run to .30, I should have easily made a double which was all I was hoping for. Yes, we all knew about the potential for the RS but I have also admitted that I was caught way off guard when it came with the grant news. Yuk. I'm looking for the exit door.
"...DO NOT get caught napping" YAWN, things are happening so fast here the only thing one can do is take a nap.
Willy, I have to come out of the dog house on this one. That was good!
Because it is not happening this week?
I did try selling but the MMs sat on my orders. Now I'll just wait it out a while and see what comes of it. I will be looking for the door though.
Over the long term (back to the CEYY days) I'm still in the green even if this dabble back in goes completely south.
Only disgusted at myself for being dumb enough to get back into this mess.
"Not invented here" is alive and well.
So true, but playing the pennies are fun and over many years I've done OK. Nothing spectacular but green. There was a time when I thought that this might be that spectacular one, that rare gem that rises every once in a while. Guess not.
I've played this to a winner over the years, and one of my better ones stating on this board when I was finally out. Regrettably I recently made a foray back into this, not in a big way but back in. While I was certainly aware of the RS, I did make a blunder in not even giving it a thought that the grant award AND the RS would be on the same day. I surely felt that the grant would come and I'd be out before the RS. So here I sit waiting to a decent exit that may never come. Even if I lose my meager position here, I will still be ahead as far as BICXD is concerned.
That's for sure. :( It's so exciting here I can barely keep up.
Ask that to any company that has been fined for PII hacks. I believe I read somewhere that Uber was fined $148 million. Did anyone in their IT department lose their job? I have no idea as these kinds of things tend to not get a ton of public attention.
At some point in time these companies and governments are going to have to look beyond existing "best practices" that appear to not be the best the marketplace has to offer. I am of the notion that with Gorgal's effort there is a company somewhere that will just tell their current IT department that you have not provided a complete solution and we cannot risk a hack and they will try VP as an option.
Yes, an optimistic outlook and one that after the Nov 2017 PR, I believe will force companies to evaluate VP. And my background tells me that can take a long period of time.
I have explained this before, it's called "Not Invented Here".
Considering that Gorgal's PR is the first indication that it actually works, the length of time since then until now or when a first potential commercial use becomes known is really not that long.
Entrenched CIOs or CTOs and their departments are NOT going to just let some outside vendor, no matter how good the product is, into their domain easily because that is an admission of their failure. It could mean their jobs and that would affect the entire department. A decision as large as letting VP into their domain is not going to be made in a short period of time.
And in my years and years of IT, I've seen this play out several times.
Back to the doghouse.
Wow, gets better by the day. :(
Small volume, but not good to see. Where's the big boys now that this is > $5?
I was always under the impression that testing was supposed to find failures. Gorgal's Nov 2017 PR appears to indicate that whatever failures may have happened in the past have been corrected.
I'm going back to the doghouse.
So, that company that thought .20 was such a great idea believes that this is going to $20? I'm just curious here.
Is there anything going on here now that the grant and RS have been accomplished that is going to move this mess to $30? Don't laugh, this reached .30 twice in recent memory but I cannot for the life of me see it heading to $30 until they actually have this product in commercial use.
