Actually! I’m in a pretty good spot. Risk has rewards. You’ve probably seen me post this before. I sold 8k cgc and then bought all in to acrgf. I reinvested my cgc bonus to acreage shares holders, back into acrgf. When cgc pulls the trigger on the deal I will end up with over 12k cgc. My original buy-in on cgc was about $2.25 US. You do the math for me, no let me, that means my avg cost on my 12k shares is about, $1.70 I believe. Check my math and keep up the stunning dd you have relied on :)
“Constellation Brands gained 38% ownership and received warrants that if exercised would raise that stake to above 50%.“ https://www.marketwatch.com/amp/story/guid/B036C4DD-1F7F-40B5-9E54-FD1A7AC109AD
And yet there has been squishyness all along about that number. Later in the Same article! “The slight negative is that the deal now caps Constellation's ownership at 50%, she said”
We should suffer for this so Christ will return or something, right? I mean we are dealing in the devils lettuce, right? Lol
“Constellation received a majority of four seats on Canopy’s board of directors, effectively taking control of the company while only owning a minority position.” https://www.freedomleaf.com/canopy-growth-ousts-bruce-linton/
Oh yeah without question. All good, but 5 is better than 10. More room for later :)
The shelf was for a hundred mill I believe. So share price dependent.
Weed earnings season!

100% right. “He said, with a small giddy inside :)”
Yup. The sliding time adjustment scale. I’ve become more comfortable with my July 2025 full retirement date. It’ll fly by and really 6 years here might turn in to less. Cgc still a baby monster.
I’m all acrgf. No one rents it :(
My retirement is July, 2025. I’m riding till I see a top or I can’t wait any longer. Nice to have options :)
Wow. Thanks for that rant! lol informative.
“when you can take this stock from my hand...” :)
Countless boomers retirement plans hinge on US weed being de scheduled:)
Cgc futures are happy atm.
That’s the drill. It’s your faith in the eventual price of cgc. .5818 shares of cgc will be worth more than $20 :)
Unless you want to sell and retire your only concern is the cgc price at the time the deal is triggered. It’s all about how many acreage shares you have and at what price is cgc when you get your .5818 cgc shares per acreage. Soooo, the higher the cgc price is when you convert....the mo money you will have. My strategy was to plow my cgc bonus back into acrgf as well as having moved all my cgc over to acreage. My 8000 cgc shares will become 12,487 cgc shares if the deal goes through. Just times that 12,487 by the cgc price at the time of the deal. That will be my arbitrage.
I will repost this from yesterday. The q will not be good as we were told in advance by the company.
All any of this costs is time imo the end result will be the same. A massively profitable global corporation. From their last financials. But we'll see how surprised the market is of this already 'known' info and how markets react. pic.twitter.com/uYw0XF9dyp

I like Martha. A gentle soft spoken woman who would eviscerate my enemies :) Mom lol

I believe that this is good for vff. https://mjbizdaily.com/mexico-seeks-public-input-as-marijuana-legalization-draws-closer/
Got them shorts right where we want em :)
From all the news that has been published recently. The last most encouraging one was the republican chair of the senate finance committee voicing support for cannabis banking. Being able to move the money across borders is more important than being able to move cannabis across borders.
Imo medmen is trash and Bruce would not.
You’re pretty close to R day:)
Wing suit sector :)
Gotta make sure your skivvies are tight in this business:)
WSJ no less. One of Murdoch’s rags.
There def has been a rise in good or at least not bad reviews on line. I think the shots they sent out last week turned some heads. I had a activist crew going for awhile on twitter with it :)
“In recent months: Canopy Growth bought German medical cannabis firm C3, Spanish weed producer Cafina, and British skincare and wellness outfit This Works;” https://fortune.com/2019/07/19/europe-cannabis-canada/
Ah yup. Scammer.
The bell has not rung but I haven’t seen vff hold on to gains like this for some time.
Worth a repost. This is our ticket to ride people. https://www.wikileaf.com/thestash/gop-chair-end-marijuana-banking-restrictions/
Please baby baby please! https://www.wikileaf.com/thestash/gop-chair-end-marijuana-banking-restrictions/
You go ahead and bet on that.
The .5818 canopy shares per acreage share should be lucrative!
