Please explain the recent top line data and what it means. Why did Nasrat state that he was hoping for better and decisive results? I'm not up on the science and could use some tutoring on this. Thanks in advance.
Does the FDA typically waive 2.33 million dollars for the application fee of drugs they don't see potential in? Wouldn't the correct reading here be that the FDA is making it easier for Elite to bring this drug to market to help solve the odious epidemic our country faces?
Absolutemente! Nasrat knows what he's doing.
well said snup!
Thanks that is good news
Just a question. Do the componets have the same weight? Can they be sorted by weight in any way? I'm sure they've thought of this but its been a question in my mind. I am long on ELTP and hope this isn't an issue.
Barchart opinion for elite pharma shows 100% buy. I haven't seen that before.
A hasty generalization and opinion only.
I believe in ELTP. It's a gut feeling based on a review of the technology, that remains unmatched in its utility and elegant efficacy. Unlike many of you I bought at the wrong time and hold approx 400K shares and my losses are not insignificant. However, no one has yet to offer any data to contradict elite's proven opiod delivery system (based on HAL studies etc.). I am in a position where I have to wait but do so with anticipation and hope.
Just voted my 247,000 shares for yes. Trusting in Couch et al.
Please fellows, with all due respect, can we dispense with the "LOL's." I don't think the intent of LOL is to demean. Please share your wisdom without it.
I feel better already!
I Bought in just before the push to .97. 247K shares average PPS of .76. This really hurts. I have no choice but to hold and remain hopeful that she will bounce back based on the science and its promises. Could use some advice/encouragement from all you longs. Do you have any idea when we will approach previous levels? I know its anybody's guess but if anything it may help me deal with this.
True. I hope there's something to that. Thus far, I haven't found anything to corroborate Mambo's assertions.
Center for Biologics Evaluations and Research. I suppose Mambo is smart enough to know that. I didn't until I found it. Maybe Mambo is smarter than I gave him credit for? LoL
Please excuse my ignorance, but what is CBER?
Yahoo posters discredit Mambo. Wondering how mambo would have such news? Believe me as heavily invested as I am, I'm hoping its true but have doubts with regard to BT status being disclosed at that time and how mambo is able to ascertain such info.
I really appreciate the fact that the company released this news at 7:30 in the am, allowing me and others to participate in this ride. My hats off to the leadership in this regard.
Numbers are up though.
That's exactly what I plan on doing. My only problem is that I'm traveling to S. Africa this Friday for a week and need to figure out how to keep an eye on everything.
Goes to show you that one needs to be careful who one listens to. I bought eltp this am based in large part your opinion of it. I'm glad I listened.
Interesting that that point wasn't presented in the article. Just a convenient omission? Thanks for clearing that up Lasers!
I suppose I wanted to believe the one that said buy it will make you rich, because I owned quite a bit. I still think that like eltp this stock could be huge. I still own quite a bit and believe in it, but I think we tend to listen to what we want to hear. I see your point though.
We've been up of late, wondering if good news is anticipated in the very near future?
Hopefully JMasdoc will let us know if we made the NEJM soon.
I don't know about y'all but I'm buying 200K shares this morning. I have been following people like Lasers and I'm impressed.
By now the patient has spoken. I wonder what he/she said?
Let's see, as someone else noted our patient friend is to speak from 7:15-7:30 am. It sure would be nice if somehow we could know what he/she has to say 1;30 minutes before the market opens. Does anyone have a friend in Yorkshire?
Any word from across the pond?
The "two-pronged" approach also indicates that this company, has a plan of action and is implementing it. Too much time, research, sweat and blood has been expended to neglect collecting a paycheck. The paycheck of, at the very least, slowing the progression of this insidious disease or completely stopping it and quite possibly reversing the destruction it causes. This is NOTa company spiraling out of control. It has a plan and is implementing it. The difficult thing is the waiting to see it come to fruition. I sincerely believe it will. As they say, "Patience is a virtue." I'm trying to be virtuious but it ain't easy.
Back from helping my son with homework. Moving back to the "Lanzazoic Era" from the Mesozoic Era. It occurs to me that we really are moving into a paradigm changing era in medical treatment. Can you imagine where we will be in twenty years? I agree with your assessment of the brilliance in the development and orchestration of this two-pronged approach. Nothing is more powerful than testimonials coupled with highly regarded, peer reviewed research. I suppose one touches the heart while the other the intellect.
When the TLD is published in a peer reviewed journal, If I were in media relations for ACTC I would definitely have Dr. Oz's cell number on speed dial or know someone who does. For that matter, also the members of "The Doctors" show. Can you think of a more expedient way to get the word out? Perhaps we could all email these shows' producers.
The slides seem to be incontrovertible evidence of a physiological change in the eyes of these patients. The science speaks for itself and I have to believe that unlike the slides in some studies lately (acid dipped cells) that we are witnessing something truly extraordinary. I am troubled as to why based on this evidence alone we haven't seen more green here. Perhaps when a journal publishes the TLD the public and even Dr. Oz will take note.
Not to beat a dead horse and maybe this is a stretch, but if Dr. H mistakenly meant to say the Lancet but instead said NEJM, then maybe this upcoming news will be in the Lancet and not the NEJM. Perhaps we are looking for the release of this data in the wrong publication. I suppose it really doesn't matter one way or the other as they are both prestigious journals. On one hand, I tend to think publishing in the Lancet makes more sense as Dr. H already has a relationship with that journal. I believe its coming and will be attention getting. Many people refer to these two publications synonymously so maybe that's what happened here. I suppose if I had a vote, I would vote for the NEJM simply because of it being a US publication.
Should we be looking to the Lancet instead of the NEJM?
I'm confused by the reference to the second paper. I don't think there has yet been a first paper in the NEJM, so what exactly did he mean? Was he mistaken and referring to the prior publication in the Lancet? I didn't notice this before.
Apologies Lasers, I meant to refer to the discussion on March 5th in, I believe, Yorkshire and for some reason typed in a later date. Any idea if the patient's statements then would have a bearing on a possible publication date in the NEJM? It would seem to me that given the results in Korea and all the positive indications e.g., the 20/400 to 20/40 patient Dr. L referred to, that the timing would be right for publication next week.
I like the way you think.
Any way to find out online? My guess is that if it were in there we would have seen a spike in pps, but you never know? It seems as though if released this week it would have created even more interest for what the patient in England is about to release on 4/4.
However, maybe they are going to present it in conjunction.
Hey Doc any news in NEJM?
