Forgot about those, thanks. That was Visser, right?
Oh, no doubt in my mind. I was just commenting on the millions of CE parts in that old marketing piece.
Honestly, I don’t care what the next quarterly shows. It’s all about the PR “stickied” above. I’ve spent years in global advanced manufacturing R&D and know a little about TRL’s and the challenges. Sustained commercialization is a huge deal. Combined with the material properties we have, IMHO, this should be trading much higher just on the potential. It’s a 30+ billion market and we are essentially the only viable player.
And the millions of products to CE - sim ejectors?
Geez, that post was from a year ago. You really had to dig to haul that one up. Things change, opinions change. Willows bend with the wind and keep on growing.
Thanks for sharing B2F.
Good video, and thanks for posting. I am interested to see the iPhone Pro Plus - if they go 5G mmWave and 120hz, LiquidMetal might be in the mix.
Also “... along with providing market participants with needed benchmarks on the advantages of our technology.”
Small contracts don’t require production benchmarks. There’s big stuff waiting in the pipeline. Proof of concept will open the valve.
Accumulation tactics?
The next 8 weeks are going to be interesting for sure.
Lol. Well, I am glad that somebody is keeping up with Kang’s antics.
Less than 1% of manufacturing is 3D printing (Additive Manufacturing). We are the world leader in BMG production. So take about 1% of our current revenue stream and you will quickly see that this is another SBIR waste of money.
That comes from corporate but believe it to be sorely needed.
I made a few updates to the information box above. If anybody else has any additional edits please let me know.
Thanks for posting this. Prof. Li is most certainly an expert in BMGs, manufacturing, and he is our CEO. I feel lucky.
This all makes sense. Thanks for the upbeat post.
Nice find!
Okay, let me respond.
Sure I believe it. I think Yamasushi had a great post earlier summarizing everything that has been done to date and our resources. He really stated the obvious, and to be honest, that obvious statement was something that I hadn't realized in a conscious way. He asked a simple question, "What other penny stock is so well positioned?" When you consider Apple's $100 million plus investment in production technologies, our large patent portfolio, our huge capacity with our partners, tens of millions in the bank, and the $30 billion plus potential market, this is a rare opportunity.
Taking a discovery material to full production capability takes time and a lot of engineering. Luckily we have an engineer/entrepreneur that understood the properties and potential of LiquidMetal. I won't forget that he sold controlling interest in his own successful company in order to realize the potential of our company.
There was no bump in the share price prior to the event, so that would seem to indicate that there was no expectation. There was no post-event slump, either, so my guess is that investors are holding on and/or slowly accumulating. People that have followed this stock for years understand the meaning of the "stickied" post above and impact that we have reached the commercialization phase of this material, and that we are the only viable game in town. This $30 billion plus potential market is just starting to turn in our direction and the upside is a given. How much and when is still the guess but there is plenty of evidence that it is a lot and soon, very soon.
That’s right. This is going to be a fun ride once investors find out we exist.
With the Apple event tomorrow, we usually see some kind of bump just before. I guess this means no soup for us.
It’s equivalent to “What time is it?” From the board, one could assume that LiquidMetal is about to be launched in all non-edible products.
All we know is that we have moved from “discovery” to “commercialization”, and that given the material properties and production technologies developed for it, the potential is huge. Just hang on and enjoy the ride.
Glad to do it and any help would be appreciated. I can’t get to it until Sunday or so as I’m on a biz trip. If another mod can do it, great.
I need to print this and start a notebook with these tips. This is really good stuff to know. Thanks for sharing.
Maybe that humor was just a tad too dry. Anyway, I did not expect it to go down. It seems we have some new MM players in the mix, so I blame them, lol.
There must be news because of the press release above. They have already declared they have begun manufacturing something for somebody on a regular basis. The only questions are how much and for whom.
I just logged in. Jeez, what happened? I was expecting sixty cents a share with all the news over the weekend. Bummer.
It’s strange to me that there is absolutely no mention of Apple. So they poured 100 million or more into LiquidMetal R&D and there is absolutely zero mention? They are not doing one thing with Apple? Mmmhmmm.
Thanks for posting. LiquidMetal’s partner manufacturers are working hard! A year from now I might look back and wonder why I didn’t sell the farm to buy more shares. 3QTR20!
Preach! We have reached commercialization. I remember somebody writing some time ago that this stock could reach $30-35 a share down the road. In that context, it seems rather plausible.
Holy cow, that’s a huge jump. Let’s hope some of that is going to LiquidMetal and we see that November rain of cash.
I don’t think Apple would launch multiple products with LiquidMetal. That’s a lot of risk. On the flip side, Apple has put a lot of bucks into production R&D, so I expect them to use the material at some point. It’s anybody’s guess, but the iPhone Pro argument makes sense. Also, they could bring 5G to the Watch at some point, two years maybe(?). It would make sense there, too.
Ummm, yeah.
I could do without the snark, but a lot of good info is posted here.
Thanks, same to you!! I think we are past the luck phase now. See the post up top - we entered the production phase. I believe it’s all good news ahead.
The patent portfolio, partly developed with Apple in the cooperative venture Crucible, cash on hand and assets, sales and marketing agreements, and a potential 30 billion dollar market is a good first place to start for you DD. LiquidMetal is the market leader by far in production technologies and partnerships, and our CEO is a proven manufacturing entrepreneur and engineer.
I think it’s going to be a long time before I sell. I read a great story of a couple who believed in Apple early on, stuck with it for years, kept adding, and just retired multi-millionaires. With this huge market potential, we might see the same here. I think that we will know soon where this is headed, and now is not the time to jump out, IMHO.
Lol!! If only Canada would let us in!!! I have vacationed and done business in your country a lot.
Yes, I have renewed interest in watching this daily. News could break on any day. It’s exciting.
I know, but it looks like voodoo to me, lol!! Thanks for the suggestions. I just took a quick look - wow, great resource.
Still, that PR was great news... it just wasn’t enough. As was pointed out, we know there is regular production from the PR and we are now a commercial enterprise, but no numbers, no customer(s) names. This was just a wonderful hopium injection, right? I am now very confident in my investment, but we need that high profile customer touting our miracle material to draw investors.
So, the game is to keep aggressively pumping hard until you can get your cash back out. Then poof... until the next time. Jeez, I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night. In my mind, it’s equivalent to selling snake oil.
