I just got in at 30.16, around a 5 year low. I think that the institutional investors dumped this today, and that is why we saw such a huge drop in PPS. When you look at the balance sheet and the strong market position of this company it seems silly to think that we would fall much more. I'm hoping to ride the recovery up, and potentially hold for a long time to collect the lucrative dividend.
This stock is pure garbage. I've lost such a large percentage already that I'm just going to keep the shares forever as a reminder for why I don't buy penny stocks. Fortunately it was speculative and my gamble was small.
Well, I'm in with a decent starting position at .08. Excited to see what the future holds. This definitely seems like an excellent time to be jumping in to this one.
Well, I finally sold my entire position while it was still in the green. Over 50% pps gone. I genuinely had my hopes for this company. Everything looked right for a good speculative play. Unfortunately, we were supposed to have revenue by this time. First quarter is what we were told and now it's almost april. Who knows, maybe things will turn for the better and I can get in again. In the mean time.......this was a waste of 6 months.
Welcome! I've been holding this for about 6 months now and have nothing but high hopes for this. So much potential here. This is not a short-term gain play, but a long-term growth stock. We are sitting at the bottom
Thank you haters LOL. Just gives me and others more of an opportunity to increase my position while the PPS is low. I've done my research and even called the company myself. While it is a speculative play, it is by no means a "scam" as one of the most vocal shorters on this board claims. The recent acquisition announcement falls right into line with the future goals, which are to produce the minerals from brine, for use in the development of battery backup systems and other uses, which represents a virtually limitless market in the long run. I find it pretty funny that this board was silent for weeks and then as soon as prices began to rise, the haters arrived in force. If this company is a "scam" and a waste of time and capital, why do you even bother watching this board? Why do you care if I am wasting my money? If you are so good at predicting and investing in quality companies, go do it! Posting multiple times a day on a "scam" is just a waste of your time, so go away.
What a piece of crap this stock is. I regret ever buying in. Nothing but sharp moves in either direction as the ones holding for a revaluation fight against the shorters that see that this company will probably go nowhere. I stupidly bought believing the hype that this company was undervauled, thinking it was a done deal. Now, I cant make heads or tails out of the way that this company moves. It's illogical. I guess I'll go buy more MXG minerals and hope for better luck. At least their pps isnt fluctuating double digit percentages due to shorters.
The performance of this stock over the last few days makes me f@#$%^g hate stocks. Seriously, I got in at 20 and it seemed a sure thing that a revaluation was occurring. I ended up selling into the his before I started losing money.......seriously, I never would have thought we would see .20 again once we started breaking .50. Obviously there is dilution and manipulation taking place here and I'm sick of it!
Remember MGX just received an 8 million dollar federal grant to progress the technology. Obviously there is some trust in the tech and the management team within the Canadian government.
I would like to know the motivations of the person who created the previous post. There are several highly unusual things about the poster that undermines credibility and makes one suspicious of the source. For one, the account name IMPORTANT_WARNING was created same day as the post, and is now showing as banned on Ihub. There has been no other activity, previous or since on Ihub. Additionally, the exact same post was also made on other forums including yahoo finance under the same title, so I would assume that it is the same person. If one follows the link and reads the alleged source it refers to a completely different company, and not MGX Minerals. In fact, there was no mention anywhere in the source to MGX Minerals. Additionally, Rico investigations themselves do not imply any wrongdoing whatsoever. Alleged cases are created and dismissed all the time and unless we see something more than some court administrative documents they hold little bearing. This is what corporate executives do. They build their business and protect and defend it from attacks, wherever they originate. They are the representatives of the company and Marc Bruner has an excellent reputation that spans decades. From my DD, I see no reason not to trust his judgement.
Yesterday I called the corporate office in Vancouver to ask them if they had heard of Rico charges against Marc or anyone else in the MGX team. She was shocked, explaining that she has heard of no such charges and that she would pass the message up to senior management. She also stated that she is unable to monitor every forum for inaccurate information from those would attempt to manipulate the stock price for their own benefit. If I had to guess, I would assume that the poster of this unexplained, out of the blue information has an agenda. They want PPS to fall, maybe because the know of a breakthrough and want to find a lower entry point?
As for me, I don't get into the panic selling. Unless there is something legitimately affecting the valuation of our market capitalization, etc, I have no intention of selling my stake. We have held roughly around .70 for months now which at least shows some stability for an OTC stock. We should have multiple operating commercial projects bringing in revenues in 2018.
Oh Wow, this is seriously undervalued if the numbers presented accurately represent assets. I'm definitely jumping in this first thing in the morning if I can get a good price before liftoff!
Another green day. Holding this one for the long run in the hopes of a home run. The future market for lithium is seemingly endless and the ability to extract it from a waste product is a potential huge win for sure. Anyone else loading up?
Just bought 5500 shares worth at .70 to hold for the long term. I don't need the money, it's in my IRA. I believe that long-term this company may have some serious potential to patten their process, become commonplace in the oil industry and rack up earnings enough to be uplisted and beyond.
Just a heads up for anyone holding this stock for the long run. Get ready to lose 40 or 50% after the Fed raises interest rates. If you can short this stock, I would highly recommend it.
I second your post. I only wish that I had some more funds cleared to buy more .06 shares.
Well, to each his own. Maybe you can buy more at bottom to average your holdings down. Either way, the chunk that you bought today was a poor decision in my opinion. Look at a 20 year chart of major averages (DJIA, S&P, etc) then look at a 20 year chart of UNP. We are in a major fed induced bubble in all major markets. We have NOT reached a bottom.....not by a long shot. Here's to hoping that I am wrong though. Dont trust me though.....I only work for this company and see its management errors on a DAILY BASIS.
To all of you thinking that we should be looking for a bottom, I disagree. Today and for the next few weeks is an excellent time to SHORT UNP as the entire stock is overbought due to Fed policy and low interest rates. Short it until PPS hits at least $65 PPS, then start looking for a bottom. Trust me, I am a 10 year employee of Union Pacific. Our management sucks and the entire huge appreciation was purely Federal Reserve monetary polity. The run up in Union Pacific stock was not based on merit or wise management decisions. $65 OR LESS IS THE BOTTOM. DONT LOOK FOR IT HERE.
BEAUTIFUL! Good days are coming for all of us holding on long. My only wish is that I could have gotten in at bottom .01 cent per share rather than .06 Either way, it wont matter, only up from here. Honestly, the share structure here is the key to why this has so much appreciation potential. So glad the merger proposal was killed. With the potential size of this market and the tiny float PPS long term is insane.......honestly hundreds of $ per share. My bet is that eventually....probably a year or two when our market takes off around the world, there will be a split of at least 10-1 to keep the PPS low enough to appeal to small investors. No small investor would buy GTRQ if shares were 100 dollars a piece. Also, when real revenues come in, I can see a dividend in our future. Either way, I'm not selling any time soon.
Holding long and strong. A couple of years from now, these prices will be laughable. This will be the kind of company that will be paying dividends in a 401K with a $20 or so PPS rather than OTC. Anyone that is observing from the sidelines....you had better lock in your position now. Otherwise, I'm seeing some alcoholism in your future as you drown your sorrow on what may have been your retirement.
Patiently waiting for the big breakout. I know that its coming soon and I'm in it for the long run. Go GTRQ!!!
Volume is really picking up. I'm locked and loaded and ready for the ride to the top!
So the Indigogo beta devices have shipped? I ordered in March and I am still showing pending to receive in August. Has anyone on here received theirs already?
There are lots and lots of us that are watching and holding for the long term. Just because we don't post on here every day doesn't mean that we are not here. Always great to see new faces on here though. I'm in with about 100,000 shares at varied prices between .06 and .10. Definitely in it for the long term. Not worried at all about it in the slightest. I only wish that I had more and that I had gotten in at below .01 like some of you lucky guys.
This Federal Reserve bubble is coming down. Everything in the market is overbought due to low interest rates creating more demand for goods upon the same supply. When this comes down, its going to be legendary. I know exactly where to place the blame too: The Federal Reserve System and their unaccountable paper money system.
Its really is sad that anyone would feel the need to bash or sell with purchase orders equalling a huge percentage of the market cap last month. How do we not have any exposure or interest? It defies logic
Yep, it was
Quiet day around here. Oh well, I just hit the ask again. Cant get enough of this. The valuation is microscopic with the current share structure and we all know that all of our shares are being held tight. Just a waiting game now. One day we will be rewarded for our patience.
It'll be a good day for all of us who have been in for a while. Its starting. Just the start though....anyone want to bet what the pps will be this time next year?
Speaking of the SEC, anyone that claims that GTRQ is a pump and dump should be given zero credibility whatsoever. It would be kind of difficult to run a pump and dump scheme when the GTRQ office shares the same building as the SEC. No shit. Has anyone forgotten tho beautiful little detail? Dont give that guy any credibility.
Typos are easy to make. I love how automatically someone points out spelling or grammatical errors because they have nothing productive to add to the conversation.
The important concept for longs to remember is that emotional crap has no place in stock investing. While nothing is "safe" in the world of investing, this company has not given us any reason to think that it would be insolvent or untrustworthy. In fact, "safe" stocks such as major blue chips found on the DOW are in my opinion junk investments. Interest rates are artificially low and the entire "safe" market is overbought. Therefore, I look toward penny stocks with potential and solid, variable management in lieu of speclatory "safe" plays. As long as one does not need the money now, at hand in their checking account to pay bills, investors should seek out plays such as GTRQ if they have any intention of preserving wealth in a world of degrading inflation. Ask this question: Where will GTRQ be in one year's time? Will it be higher than today? If I leave my money to sit in a checking account it will inevitably be worth less this time next year as inflation (contrary to fed statements) is atrocious right now. Where was GTRQ one year ago? Overall, I see this as a pretty solid long term investment (though a bit speculatory) and I'll be damned if I let my savings be eroded by the Federal Reserve's inflation. The short term chart readers need to get a life.
Oh boy....The crash of '15 will be of biblical proportions. One of these days the Ponzi scheme of low interest rates and fiat currency will either implode itself through hyperinflation and a collapse of the dollar OR through actions of the FED drastically increasing interest rates to the point that the bubble pops and returns us to non-fed inflated, market equilibrium....somewhere at around 4000 on the DOW. I just wish that people would pay attention to these trends and market manipulations. Instead I'm hearing about how great the economy is doing and how wonderful our president is.....if there wasn't so much at stake it would be completely laughable. Mark my words, our economy is sickly. The world economy is sickly, and its all being held together by an overpriced, overvalued, overtaxed dollar that is enjoying a final party before the game is up. The cancer is malignant and one of these days these "record highs" will be replaced with the inevitable crash. I don't claim to know what the results of this crash will be, I can only try to use history as a barometer. America's great depression by Murray N. Rothbard is a good start for research though. Either way, there will not be a "next recovery" after the fall. After the next fall, America will not resemble our once great nation. I'm thinking Roman Empire status. The Roman empire still exists.....its just divided into dozens of smaller nations after it destroyed its currency and grew too large to control its empire. We as individuals will recover. We will learn our lesson and go back to free markets eventually......but the American Empire will not. Wars, Wars, Debt, Wars, currency debasement, debt, wars, wars, wars....... those were the primary causes of the fall of Rome. The similarities are staggering.
There is definitely not any doubt for me on the long term run we will inevitably see.....this kind of price fluctuation is enough to make anyone get nervous and question. Instead I look back on all we know of this company and read back on some of the existing information that made me buy in to begin with......yeah.....i want more...just with I had the cash on hand. Its a bargain.
This whole manufactured selloff is such a farce, and yet our pps has lost 40% in 2 days. What the hell happened?
Why anyone would be selling right now is just simply baffling.
WOW! Awesome news release! This is going to be huge! I especially like the bit about already being in discussion with fortune 500 companies. Here we have the product, the cost, and an implementation plan.....any bets on when we will see the first institutional investment?
3 pm eastern time?
30000 shares in for the long run here. I've been watching and admiring the potential for GTRQ for about six months now and I agree, the opportunity for cheap shares is basically over and I will not sell until we soar way into the dollars. Maybe we'll see a buyout next year?
Well, I've been in the background for a long time holding what I have and watching anxiously. I just went ahead and bought another 10,000 at .1501. Figured that it couldn't hurt any
It seems as though ammx and this whole board has caught Ebola. I waiting on the sidelines to buy back in when it can be determined that the host will not be killed by the virus
