No, it doesn't include any of the parent company's subsidiaries. VSLR is only Vivint Solar and truthfully it's only a portion of the entire company. A good size portion of Vivint Solar is still private.
Pre split value of 9.9 cents...I'll be honest I would have been buying then. Company is selling at a discount IMO
I don't mind seeing my accounts green, when most of the major indices are down. Green is green
Will they be trading derivatives on SLTD?
Long and strong baby!
TD posted! wahoo!
I agree with that, many people will sell off at least some of their position. Take their gains. Not all are in for the long run.
reorg fee is $38 unless you have 100k in the account or are somehow already an APEX client.
I know TD Ameritrade charges non APEX clients $38. Most firms have what they call a reorganization fee. It varies per firm. (because it is a firm charge, not FINRA or SEC.)
Yeah, well last week it was in the .158 range. They should have known that it wouldn't last long.
Wow, I just looked at the TOS chart, what the freak happened? I'd love to buy this at .01. That's insane! Someone got taken.
Yeah what happened to 2/18? I wasn't reading yesterday and now can't see anything. I hope I didn't miss any information.
I don't understand this addiction to news for some investors in SLTD. Every newsletter (and there's been quite a few this month already) that comes out it's solidifies my belief that this company cares about the future, not the NOW. They are building an infrastructure that compares to strong mid cap companies. Great investments take time, and while having the people in place this company will no longer be a small player in this enormous industry.
IMO if you want SLTD to act like a majority of "penny stocks" then you're in the wrong place. This is going up over time with no expected collapse.
I don't know if it matters to the SLTD investors, but I want you to know that VLSR Vivint Solar is only 25% public. The majority share is still private. I'm not sure if that affects your calculations when comparing solar companies, but it's probably something worth noting.
I agree with you Tim. That's the way this stock has worked in the past, why would today be any different?
Exactly, this is not a for sure. They are using it as a possibility, in circumstances such as this a reverse split is really a positive note. Many times these type of splits are used to stay on exchange. That is probably one to avoid.
I'm in Ft Worth, come on by party bus.
All those that are already in contract will be cutting the fat. Many won't start opening new contracts until a stabilization and increase of oil occurs. It's true that many locations in Texas and similar states can make money at 45/barrel. However, many up north are more expensive to mine, not to mention are highly leveraged. Many locations up there are already losing money with each barrel. Their happy break even is 60/barrel. All locations will be cutting the fat to produce and hopefully make similar profits.
It's not easy losing a family member, but a mother is void that can never be filled. My thoughts are with you and loved ones.
SLTD- Even though good news is coming more often than before, it's painful waiting for the next exciting letter sent out.
That's an awesome dream! It might not go that smoothly, however, I think you'll still be able to do it.
When insiders are not dropping shares, that's a pretty good sign that a penny stock isn't really a penny stock at all. Bullish Bullish Bullish. When prices hit all time highs and insiders aren't selling, that tells you something. Even Zuckerberg sold off when FB started flying.
Sell if you're going to sell, buy if you're going to buy. We are here to discuss the company. If you aren't interested in SLTD don't read a message board dedicated to the company. I love technology, I feel though giving people a faceless voice with no accountability to their words has ruined decency and intellectual discussions.
In Jim I trust, Long SLTD!
Thanks for the update, also TimWJ congrats. Having a baby is life changing. It makes you look for the long-term. I'm coining the phrase Ultra Long, that's what I am for SLTD. This company has so much going for it, the financials and charts don't scare me. If people want to sell it down to .15 I'll take it. It'll allow me to lower my cost basis even more. I had to sell earlier this year for something but the last couple months have accrued it back.
My wife just had her baby on Tuesday. I was happy with my account Monday, I looked today and I've lost quite a bit from my gains. Why is everyone selling SLTD? Jim is still in charge right? :)
It's a brilliant plan, buy successful distribution and sales companies and then release an industry changing product.
To my fellow Jim supporters, it was another good day. Not really a surprise to us that we received great news with high potential of growth in the next couple years.
In Jim we trust.
That would be surprising considering SCTY is their sister company. But TSLA does share their patents to further encourage development. Anything is possible.
Congrats on the baby Tim! My wife is expecting anytime now. Let's hope it's as good of news as yours.
Moonshine, is that a sunworks panel in your pic?
Good, those end of the day sell offs are annoying.
Welcome to the clan of believers. In Jim we Trust!
Chiinkwia, the great thing about IRA Required minimum distribution is you can transfer stock out instead of cash. The transfer itself becomes a taxable event. Don't sell if you don't want to.
I'm in this to win. I've been reading your posts and buying a little here and there. Nothing to the level some of you, and unfortunately I didn't know about this company until January. I'll have to see the company value go way up to see the profits you will. But I guess it's better to get in now that not at all. SLTD 4 life!
