I agree! I'm not selling my shares.
Perhaps this:
"Cannabis Sativa, Inc. (OTCQB: CBDS) closed up over 15% on Monday at $5.8908 by the market close. Cannabis Sativa. Inc. announced in late April that the Company has developed a "hi" branded infused honey product (hi honey) which is made from rich African honey and infused with CBD or THC. CBDS President David Tobias said that, "the hi honey flavor is rich, dark and unique." Mr. Tobias went on to express his belief that, "superfood honey contains powerful compounds including probiotics and polyphenols, which could help fight inflammation and protect cells from damage."
CBDS bought a 49% interest in a 7 acre farm used to grow hemp right in LA. Can Ecuador Sativa be far behind?
In case you missed the opportunity to buy CBDS below 5 Thursday, it will probably be back on Friday as the shorts are active after the close trying to bring the price down. So now when you get in, you can help blow the shorts out of the water! Onward and Upward!
The long awaited patent has been awarded! This is like only the third marijuana patent to be issued. This company just moved to the head of the line and I am loading up on an incredible opportunity below $5 per share!
Dr. Margaret Gedde, MD, PhD in support of medical marijuana
"A wealth of research shows marijuana does indeed have outstanding promise as a medicinal plant, largely due to its cannabidiol (CBD) content. Cannabinoids interact with your body by way of naturally occurring cannabinoid receptors embedded in cell membranes throughout your body.
There are cannabinoid receptors in your brain, lungs, liver, kidneys, immune system, and more. Both the therapeutic and psychoactive properties of marijuana occur when a cannabinoid activates a cannabinoid receptor."

Dr, Mercola supports medical marijuana. "Medical Cannabis—Another Option for Pain Relief
Certain forms of cannabis are potent medicine with few or no psychoactive effects. Even the US Surgeon General Vivek Murthy has spoken out about its potential benefits, saying: "We have some preliminary data showing that for certain medical conditions and symptoms, marijuana can be helpful." His statement echoes a growing sentiment in the medical and scientific communities that the health benefits of marijuana should no longer be ignored. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has also given strong support for research and development as well as a "review of policies promoting research on the medical use of these compounds."
At present, 23 states have legalized medical marijuana.23 Another 11 states have pending legislation for 2015.24 On a federal level, however, the herb is still considered a Schedule 1 controlled substance (other Schedule 1 drugs include heroin, LSD, ecstasy, methaqualone, and peyote). Ironically, oxycodone, fentanyl, and meperidine (Demerol), which are among the most commonly abused opioids and leading causes of opioid overdose deaths, are Schedule II drugs, meaning they should technically be less dangerous than marijuana. Meanwhile, until recently certain opioid prescription drugs such as Vicodin were classified as Schedule III substances, which are defined as "drugs with a moderate to low potential for physical and psychological dependence."

Research is still ongoing on just how extensive their impact is on our health, but to date it's known that cannabinoid receptors play an important role in many body processes, including metabolic regulation, cravings, pain, anxiety, bone growth, and immune function. To learn more about the legal parameters of using medical cannabis in your state, check out ProCon.org's website.25 I also recommend listening to my interview with Dr. Allan Frankel, a board-certified internist in California, who has treated patients with medical cannabis for the past eight years."
CBDS product now legal in all 50 states. Check out the latest 8-K. They have entered a joint venture with Centuria Natural Foods, Inc. whereby Cannabis Sativa will market Centuria’s proprietary CBD (Cannabidiol) Rich Hemp Oil products. " Centuria CBD hemp Oil is extracted from high-grade, non-psychoactive hemp plants as an extract, not as a synthetic compound or isolate, as is the case with other CBD products on the market. It offers the exact beneficial Cannabidiol molecule found in the cannabis plant, but in a form that is legal for purchase and consumption in all fifty states by consumers of any age."
Jeff Holmes, Greg Holmes and Kevin Ashe are just the team to make this (listing on the NASDQ) happen. Adding them will take this stock to the next level and probably within 2 months.
Year end tax selling equals Jan. pop.
People may be selling for tax reasons and they'll get back in after the start of the new year. Translation: NOW IS A GREAT TIME TO BUY!
Check out the Forbes article. CBDS is one of the top 8 stocks in the sector.

Here comes the money!
Obviously there are a lot of believers and insiders appear to be hanging on to their shares. If you have a better plan, go for it and stay away from this stock. I'll be buying more.
A quote from the CEO Gary... "Johnson confirmed the company's plans to market marijuana products for recreational use as well. Sublingual products, including lozenges manufactured by Cannabis Sativa, have medical uses and can even replace some prescription pain relievers that Johnson said cause 100,000 deaths per year in the United States." From "This marijuana stock is 900% higher and still smoking"

There are a lot of products being developed. You can buy the stock now at $10 or you can wait for the products to hit the bottom line and pay $50 to $100 a share. You choose.

More from NYT: 37 states plus the District of Columbia have liberalized marijuana laws: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/07/27/opinion/sunday/high-time-let-states-decide-on-marijuana.html?emc=edit_th_20140727&nl=todaysheadlines&nlid=41721355
NYT comes out in support of legalizing marijuana: "There are no perfect answers to people’s legitimate concerns about marijuana use. But neither are there such answers about tobacco or alcohol, and we believe that on every level — health effects, the impact on society and law-and-order issues — the balance falls squarely on the side of national legalization."

If Borislav Tonev is trying to imply that Steve Kubby is an untrustworthy criminal, he should read the Wikipedia entry which says in part: " Although various media reports have described him as a "felon" and "fugitive", Kubby's legal status was resolved on July 3, 2008, when California Superior Court Judge, David Nelson, dismissed all charges against Kubby, clearing his name and record of any criminal activity." It seems pretty obvious that he was targeted for political reasons and his support for medical marijuana which was so critical to his health. It would be like arresting "Charlie" of Charlette's web fame and her parents for trying to make the cannabis oil which has been so important to controlling her seizures.
I suspect the price would have continued to rise today if the trading session wasn't shortened for the holiday. Oh well, now we can look forward to Monday.
ExGov. Johnson works for $1 plus stock impresses me. Shows that he believes this company is going to make it big. That's putting your money where your mouth is!
I'm long, long, long!
Great article reference RationalOptimist! I have been concerned about people biting off more than they can chew with marijuana edibles, but the lozenges seem to really address the issues (and I love coconut oil). From the article: "Inventor Steve Kubby says the chemical make up of coconut oil, a medium chain triglyceride, allows the skin in the mouth to rapidly take up the psychoactive components of the sublingual edible.
Once a connoisseur uses a sublingual edible, the effects are very similar to that of smoking. Within five to fifteen minutes, the psychoactive elements of the cannabis create an effect.
It’s this rapid uptake through the blood-brain barrier that helps users decide how much is enough.
“It’s very pleasant,” said former Governor of New Mexico and CEO of CBDS, Gary Johnson, “You have to determine your own level of comfort.”
Merger with Kush is what we've been waiting for. Now that the details have been worked out CBDS is going to really take off. With the expertise of the new managers (Johnson and Kubby) investors in this sector will be drawn to a sure winner! Way to go David Tobias! Back up the truck and BUY, BUY, BUY!
