The really weird thing too is Mr. Rifici just tweeted a pick from the Ottaw mag. yesterday.
I wish Linton would be a little bit more clear as to the change here. Chuck being the largest shareholder of the company, definitely has an at least, short term impact on the stock. I know in the long run if Tweed becomes profitable that this will have no effect on the value of the company.
As we all know the the market only cares about the bottom line. However in the short term.
how about a little more detail than just a one sentence PR?
Am I missing something? The web site says shipping in the Fall of 2014.
Why are you saying September as fall runs through December? TIA
WTF?
http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=63806368&xref=newsalert
I just emailed TWeed to ask for a follow up as to why Chuck is resigning from the board.
I'm shaking my head right now. WTF, how bout an explanation, sheesh.
Exactly, The man has no shame! Stick a fork in it. This company is toast without any MMJ!
We should be getting a PR in the next week or two, stating that the lab is completed. This will be a good thing for TWEED. Saving money on every test at 100.00 a pop.
This baby's on the NASDAQ! going over 5 so the big boys can get on board! Then BOOM!
Biometrics are going to be the future! Smart wallet is going to be HUGE IMO! This socket is gonna rocket!
jon_
Cannabis is stored in air tight containers. What in the hell do you mean "shelf"?
I think your BED purchase has got you saying some semi bashing like comments about tweed!
Maybe you should hang out more on the Bed board or at least stop saying dumb stuff like, better hurry and buy the product before it spoils. You say you are in both competing companies, however
you got an axe to grind with TWEED not giving you their patient count, and I think, maybe best to drop your moderating position on the TWEED board if you are going to continue to play that card!
I would assume if The US and Mexico goes full recreation so will Canada. That's a no brainer.
Could you imagine what would happen along the border if CA did not after the lower 48 approves?
Be real girl!
I backed up my statement with a news article. What do you have to back up yours S-girl?
Never hurts to diversify. That said, I would rather keep every share of my Tweed than to split it up to Buy BED or OGI. The fact that TWEED has two licensed facilities that could produce up to 60 million grams in 2015, is the company where my money is riding. To say that size is not an issue is absurd!
As Linton said, Theres this little thing called the federal election in 2015. With the Libs way out front
in the recent polls for the 2015 election, SIZE will matter! IMO Good luck with BED.

Please people ignore Awesome! He is not worth a reply. If you really want to see him gone, do Not respond!
My take on the gram prices. If they are selling at the higher price than by all means, keep selling! Linton said that the average gram price will be around seven dollars. At some
point that will probably happen with better growing margins and as competition begins to play a factor.
It's all about how many grams per year these LPs can produce and then sell. If one LP has the potential (because of facility size and license limit) to grow 60 million grams in 2015, as apposed to 20-30 Million. The company growing the 60 will be the leader. Pretty simple math!
No not desperate at all. I got my bet on the only LP with TWO licenses, who are gaining customers everyday, and ramping up production daily. I think SPRWF is a good bet, but the MMRP are not handing out any new license. So why not put your money in a company that is the leader of the pack?
Just saying! GLTA I hope Supreme gets their license soon! The more the merrier!
Full Legalization only a matter of time IMO!

Sillylung is a moderator on the SPRWF board. Who is here only to bash Tweed. SPRWF is another company waiting and hoping for a license. These companies' share holders are getting real desperate as they wait for a license. Meanwhile the companies themselves, I would assume are running low on cash. Probably means more dilution!
So thankful, TWEED has two licenses!!!
Lots of money being spent with no license! Must suck being an investor in a pipe dream!
Sillylung another worthless basher on IGNORE!
You are on drugs! The Midas letter was an INTERVIEW with the CEO! Get a clue!
http://www.midasletter.com/2014/04/tweed-marijuana-inc-tsx-vtwd-sell-15000-kg-marijuana-per-year/
"opinion pieces."
WHAT? It's an interview! WOW! Go back under the rock dude!
This article is from a consulting group who's mission is to help those looking for an LP license.
This is not from Health Canada and should not be counted on to explain how many new licenses
will be approved in the near term. IMO the article is meaningless.
Now they are gone. Must have been his lunch break, park job. Figured that he would stop any momentum with all that crazy buying volume while he took a lunch break! Yea right!
The specialist running this stock is a little strange He's got an ask with 51k shares. largest I have seen yet to date. With only 12k shares traded today. C'mon man!
Great post as usual Carp! Like everyone else long Tweed, I too would like to see a steady increase in
share value. That said, This is a brand new company in a brand new industry. Tweed is making all the right moves and will be the largest public producer in 2015. Only one thing to do as an INVESTOR,
ride it! Surfergrl needs to move on IMO> As far as the awesome dude. I put him on ignore in April.
I'm am still surprised to read people here still respond to him. If everyone ignored him, he would go away!
Man they can sure bring this down on very little volume. Buyers are not here today,
No biggy One would think with the scarcity of licenses that Tweed with 2 would be worth a lot more money. WTF is the supply and demand theory at with being a licensed producer? Weird!
I will take three days closing above the 50 DMA! good sign of things to come!
Closed above the 50 DMA! First time since June. Pretty decent volume. Looking good.
Looking for the move above 3.00! Go Tweed!
Bruce Linton: In Smiths Falls, Tweed’s original location, it’s up to 15 million grams. And that hasn’t changed. What we’ve licensed in Niagara-on-the-Lake, the facility is about twice as big as the one in Smiths Falls – it’s about 360,000 square feet of greenhouse. And so we put the security control around the whole premise, and a portion of it, we have licensed for production for this year, and we’ll expand to the whole site for next year, which – we don’t have a final number, but I would expect it to be double the number we’re permitted to grow in Smiths Falls, maybe more like triple. And so you could be talking somewhere in the range of 45 million to 60 million [grams] as a potential range of approved volume. That’s not a quota – that’s a maximum allowable limit. If you produce a gram more, you’re in excess of your allowable permit.
There’s this little thing called the Federal Election!
Linton is in the know! Why do you think he mentioned the ramp up to 60 MILLION grams next year!
People are really not getting the fact that Niagra Green house can and will grow three times the capacity of the Smith Falls facility. (a lot cheaper too!, duh hardly any electric bill! () 360 THOUSAND square feet! How is this still under 3.00 per share! Its like they have 4 facilities with that amount of growing space! He said the fence and security is in an all the need to do is fill out paperwork and next year NOTL could produce possible 45 MILLION GRAMS!!!!!!!! Wake up people!
http://www.midasletter.com/2014/09/tweed-marijuana-inc-ceo-bruce-linton-q2-expanded-production-growing-sales/
Audio of the interview: Plus for those who missed it yesterday! Might be why the stocks moving up on nice above average volume! That 45 million grams looks pretty darn sweet!
It's been a tough six months for any one holding and accumulating TWEED. Since April iI personally went from an average in the 3.40s to a lot more shares at a solid 2.77! So in the long run I'm glad the sector corrected and TWEED consolidated. I think the days of being under 3.00 will soon be a thing of the past. For those of us that have been posting here since the beginning, all we really did is to become true believers in this great little gem! Now with the solid conviction we all have, we can watch
this unfold into the Dynamo it will become. I'm not cheerleading. I'm just a very happy investor!
In a week or two when I'm in the Green, I'm sure it will feel better, but hardly enough to get excited about. The excitement will happen when the share price is 17 and higher and we will look back at these first six months and smile and say to each other, way to go man! Oh and you too surfer girl!
Like I said wait till we cross 2.66 in the next day or so! Then the next test will be 3.09 the recent 3 month high. After that it will be 3.19 the even further high. And then after that it will be blue skys!
yep I'm talking new highs! Again I will predict that by November first this stock is above 5.00,
However, if it is not, I won't even care. I'm here for at least seven years. GL to all!
tomorrow should be fun!
Someone is scooping up that ask pretty hard. Going to be an interesting close!
After holding for six months i would like to see some upward movement. I was not counting on it.
I personally think in all due time it's a real winner. However, these last few days are encouraging.
If this bust through the 2.66 resistance, no telling how far it might move. Might be some behind the scenes events taking place, maybe a hot new CEO, institutions scooping all for sale to establish a position, or the accredited investors from the reverse merger finally sold out. I don't know, but I feel a big move coming real soon! IMO
Looking good on the chart! MACD is now up, the RSI is now turned up! A little bit more volume and a close above 2.66 Canadian and things will start to get real interesting! I feel it coming any day now from the West down to the East! Our times coming longs! Get ready! IMO
I think it bodes well for Tweed that there are now other Canadian MMJ companies that are public, with a couple more coming public soon. Now investors and institutions can do their DD like most of us already have, and see that, clearly, with the two licenses and 2 facilities, Tweed will be the leader in this space. Linton mad a direct reference to the 2015 election in the article that was published yesterday. Also in that article he stated that possibly next year they would have the potential to produce 60 million grams!
A couple of excerpts from Yesterday's interview with the CEO, Linton:
Bruce Linton: In Smiths Falls, Tweed’s original location, it’s up to 15 million grams. And that hasn’t changed. What we’ve licensed in Niagara-on-the-Lake, the facility is about twice as big as the one in Smiths Falls – it’s about 360,000 square feet of greenhouse. If you produce a gram more, you’re in excess of your allowable permit.
James West: Okay that’s pretty substantial. Do you see the demand currently, with the current patient base licensed by MMPR across Canada, that could consume that much in a year?
Bruce Linton: Oh absolutely not at this time. Our business remains in one way consistent, which is a pretty simple business. We need to have high quality product that’s always available. It has to have a low and decreasing cost per gram. And to the market part, we have to educate physicians, so we’re the preferred choice. And so we’ve been investing in that for many months with what you might call ‘Pharma reps’ – they’re parties going to educate doctors, as to why ours is the preferred source, and marijuana is a preferred alternate to many of the painkillers and other medicines, and I think we’re doing a good job there, so I think we should get a disproportionate allocation of the future market. But it won’t, in the near term, meet all of that supply. However next year, there’s this little thing called the Federal Election, and who knows what happens ther
Thanks for checking! We all know what we own here. I'v been long since the first week of trading. I see a lot of the same posters here and we are a great bunch of longs! This is probably one of best boards I follow. Anyhow, Tweed is a great company. We know what we own and we also know that there are plenty of haters and we know that they hate because they too know deep down that TWEED is the best PUBLICLY owned in the Canadian MMJ space.
Wow what crazy manipulation, TWEED was up all day on above average volume and lithely in the last minute of trading on a few hundred shares they closed it dow 2 cents on the TSX! Can't wait till this get the same manipulation to the upside!
Did you read what Linton had to say about capacity? 15 million at the Smithfalls max and up to 3 times that at the NOTL green house. that is 60 million grams per year just by Tweed alone! If and when Tweed will have the demand that is 60 million grams times 7 per gram = $420 million per year in revenue at max production! Truly unbelievable. Most of the other LP's are around 5 to 10 million
grams per year maxed out! TWEED is so far ahead of the other LP's let alone all the pink sheet want to bees! GO TWEED!
A couple of Highlights from today's released interview with TWEED's CEO, Linton fro Sept. 3, 2014
Tweed Marijuana Inc. (TWD.V) CEO Bruce Linton On Q2, Expanded Production, Growing Sales
Tweed Marijuana Inc. (TSX.V:TWD)(OTCMKTS:TWMJF) CEO Bruce Linton returns to Midas Letter to talk about Tweed’s expansion in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, where an additional 500,000 square feed has been added to Tweed’s Smiths Falls operations. Tweed was the first medical marijuana company to become publicly traded in Canada – an honour now shared with Bedrocan Cannabis Corp (TSX.V:BED) and OrganiGram Holdings Inc. (TSX.V:OGI)
According to Linton, that will raise Tweed’s growing capacity to somewhere north of 45 million grams per year, which, at an average sale price of $7 per gram, means potential maximum annual yield of $315 million gross worth of Canada’s most valuable cash crop
And so you could be talking somewhere in the range of 45 million to 60 million [grams] as a potential range of approved volume. That’s not a quota – that’s a maximum allowable limit. If you produce a gram more, you’re in excess of your allowable permit.
When this breaks out over the 50 day MA which is at 2.67 today! Look out! I think the word is getting out who has the best potential in the MMJ space, and the word is TWEED! Up to 60 million grams in the next year or so! All I can say is WOW! $ I agree with Green, $17.00 in a years or two max is very doable!
