Both the BP and Exxon events created tremendous buy-back opportunities for the companies, which they adeptly took advantage of. Nearly all cash on hand, after clean-up costs and fines not covered by their insurance coverages, was reinvested in company stock. Cash flows were substaintial enough that capital was not a concern. Those companies won.
A comparison of FITX to BP and Exxon, on a company endures bad news basis, is absurd. The only similarity to those scenarios and what is now happening in Canada is that FITX is the oil slick and no one has the ability (or desire) to clean it up. Never had any cashflows, aren't interested in buying back company stock... This thing is the sludge that sank to the bottom.
We all are taking turns.
You get next Thursday.
Plan for some big PR, will ya?
Just received my first email from a law firm.....
This is going to get good and we'll all end up owning a portion of a pole barn! Let's wait 'til Spring, tap a keg or two, and and have a hoedown.
This is EXACTLY what we needed to see happen.
It's been abundantly clear that the two sides of our business need clarity of purpose, separation of financials, and focus of leadership.
I'm more than willing to take a short term hit for the long term benefit that this recent announcement presents.
Stem Cell Research and Now Ebola!
I heard we were working to secure a Ukranian patent for the cannibus panacea and are in talks with the World Health Organization to see if they couldn't help us with our community outreach program and zoning issues.
If Bill hadn't been distracted by all these off-critical-path tasks and world travel requirements, we might have been uplisted by now, or have audited financials, or been growing at our heavily fortified Lakeshore facility, or researching new uses for our product at Site 2, or constructing additional grow buildings using hempcrete, or having to run multiple shifts to handle our GNC supply contract, or....
Criminy.
Bill needs to use the PR firm. Publishing releases like this, with numerous grammatical or spelling errors, is a true sign of an amateur company.
Reference to town leaders, by name, is also of GREAT concern. If Bill included that information in the release without their permission, he just lost any support from those folks (if he even had it in the first place).
Being the bully in town politics only works if you are in Chicago. This latest release reeks of a leader who is half mad, half whining, and half reactionary.
I realize that my prior statement is actually 3 halfs; until I'm audited, I can use any numbers that suit me.
This may be the most insane action I've ever seen taken by a CEO of a publicly traded company.
I've just realized that I've seen the last of my profits from FITX. It was a good ride while it lasted, but there's some sort of social responsibility entrusted to every company. Clearly that's not even in the back of the mind of our CEO.
I know some have called Bill a liar, some have questioned his transparency, some think he's pump and dump king -- all of that no longer matters. Bill proved to all that he is irresponsible.
I'm out.
I've been on vacation for the last week......
And haven't once checked iHUB for any late-breaking news on FITX.
Started my day today -- just trying to get caught up on all the exciting happenings -- and see that ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAS CHANGED.
Just so I know, can you guys respond to the following:
1) Have we seen our golden ticket from Health Canada?
2) Do we have zoning issues at either or both sites?
3) How many unrestricted shares should I expect to be dumped on the market this week or later this month?
4) With all the new members on the board of directors, have we found a single person that knows how to proof-read Bill's announcements?
5) What was everyone's opinion about the audited financials?
6) Are we still trading in the pinks or did the uplist occur?
Thanks in advance for bringing up to speed....simply YES or NO answers ('cept for #3) will suffice. For #3, please round to the nearest billion shares.
Do I hear Mama Cass singing?
It was 125,000 trials, each with two participants. One participant gets the placebo and survives; the other not so lucky.
I'm holding freebies after riding the wave to .11 (what now seems like years ago), but am starting to see some patterns with Bill's management style that makes me feel uneasy.
Bill is as transparent as a 2-way mirror; flipping on the light every so often so you know that he is there, then secreting off again until he needs more face time. Posting pictures of him at conferences (what's with the thumbs up in half the pictures?) and using facebook posts just when he feels the natives are getting restless (or PPS is dropping too far).
While I don't know that you can technically say that he has lied or mislead investors or prospective investors, but it is clear that he isn't always forthcoming and works the "half-truth" remarks like he invented them.
For him to relay that Health Canada called him with a request to expedite the build out of site 1 and how we all now see that Health Canada isn't beating a path to the site for inspection just doesn't wash. For whatever reason, it bodes poorly for FITX. Either Bill's statement on the HC request to hurry up was bogus OR Health Canada has done their investigation and isn't as enamored with Bill and his team as they once were.
At some point in time, the truth will be known. The key isn't patience as the CEO bluntly posted; it's integrity.
Off my soapbox and still long FITX.
Just saw this from the CEN Biotech website.....I realize that we aren't now operable (come on license approval!), but found the working of the first paragraph to be difficult to follow. "Vow to take an oath"? What is that all about? Is this where someone raises their right hand and places their left hand on a copy of High Times and states "Dude, I got your back, uh, I mean...Dude, I will promise to get your back."?
I forgot all about the grammar in the first paragraph, though, when reading the second paragraph. "Subsidized programming" of weed by CEN Biotech....if you can't afford it, we'll help you out -- just put it on your tab! First one is free...
Do you suppose the hit to income has been figured into the business plan?
Don't kid yourself (okay, go ahead) but don't spew stuff like this at the rest of us.
So you heard we got approval as well?
Wow. Just wow. I can't believe that bold-faced, point-blank sarcasm can be misconstrued by so many. It makes me wonder about the intellectual depth of my FITX investor brethren.
But, then again, all it takes is belief.
I've played this ticker as a day trader over the last 6 months; have been rewarded handsomely; sitting on a little over 1.1M shares and will ride this thing into the $$$. Can't hurt given the freebies!
GLTA!
Approved!
*Or so my speculative sources have told me, third-party and off the record. Can someone take pictures of the HC approval document stapled next to the building permit and zoning request documents at the site and post it here?
NEWS FLASH: George Michael announces he's given up pot.
I guess we'll test resistance at .04 today then. Just another WHAM to our plans.
Thanks for the hard facts.
PHoT news out this morning is what we need more of. PR with substance that indicates a clear line of sight to business objectives that support a unified mission.
I'm long FITX with just a little under 2MM shares, but Bill's shotgun approach is growing wearisome.

Enough of the history lessons! Regurgitating the same (and non-substantial) information in a press release shows that there is very little left on the future vision front.
Why not a press release saying "CEN Biotech Set to Seek Final Approval April 1, 2014" or "CEN Biotech Changes Transfer Agent" or "CEN Biotech Names Cheech Marin as Vice President of Community Relations"?
If there is no news, fine. Things like this do nothing but support the notion that many have that this is a pure pump and dump operation.
What PPS is eTrade making that offer for? !!!
Two early tests at .094 and up we go!
What does L2 look like now?
Can someone post Bill's FB announcement here?
What's pretty here is that the bounce wasn't really a bounce -- clearly a test of resistance, followed by a SUSTAINED reaction to knowing that resistance was tested successfully. Damn chart looks like a boomerang today!
I doubled up with today's dip (but still averaged up since I've been riding freebies).
Keep coming baby.....fill that .05 order!
Early view at L2 today? Can anyone share?
Gap, yes. MAJOR gap, no.
Nice numbers from the MDXG boys in Marietta this morning....
The minimum bid price for a stock to be listed on NASDAQ is $4.00. I think that anyone's assertion that FITX will (or potentially even could) uplist to NASDAQ in May is simply false, misinformed, and totally misleading. Additionally, firms listed on NASDAQ must have audited financial statements...
FITX is NOT a NASDAQ eligible stock at this point and will NOT be a NASDAQ eligible stock in May, just in share price alone. The ONLY way for that to happen is an extensive reverse split. An action which Bill has said will not occur.
If the "quote" attributed to Bill about being in talks with the SEC is actually from Bill -- then Bill is talking out of the wrong orifice.
After supposedly hiring a top-notch PR firm, I am disappointed that we've chosen not to use them. The sub-standard video from the shareholder event illustrates the lack of crisp professionalism that a PR firm would bring. I realize that there are costs associated with those type of services, but FITX is now is a company in transition from small-time to big-time. Managing the image, brand, and communications during this period is extremely important.
The day of updating shareholders, existing and prospective, via Bill's Facebook posts is over (or certainly should be). Full use of an "Investor Relations" section on the Creative Edge Nutrition website is in order; as is use of a similar section (for press releases and other verifiable company information) on the CEN Biotech site.
Just my two cents (on my 1MM shares)....
Was expecting to see a couple of pictures of the meet and greet posted by now....did Bill not show up?
Link?
Wish that the video updates were available on a platform other than FaceBook. Can someone push them to YouTube?
TIA
