Perhaps we can get congress to bail all the investors of rsmi, LOL, but when Brad and Ray and company finally have their day in court there will be little sympanthy from the jury after this shakes out.
Or perhaps everyone that has lost money in the market be allowed to write it all off during the time of loss rather than 3k per year which is BS.(tax laws need change to stimulate the market again.)
brad and ray = imo scum
JUST SAY NO!!!! Of course I know it will pass but let them know they need to be replaced!! I would like to see the voting results 51%, for 49% against!! Sending Ray and Brad a clear message.
typo they=the
I am sure they will not answer questions only want a positive vote for the 4 BILLION BS!!!!! But you can let they board know if he is wearing body armor while doing his presentation.
Who has let the price per share drop so low? Due to IMO lack of news about product testing NAMES of companies testing and results etc; have accomplished this.
Brad and Ray!!!
In light of the most recent two acquisitions which had cash on hand of approx 750k plus patent rights they must think RSMI has a tech of some value.
I know that the increase will pass as the board of directors would have not even brought this up had they thought otherwise.
I will still vote NO and urge others to send management the message stock holders are not happy as you have squandered the shares you had available!!!

We’re in a mini “quiet period” of sorts. Not an official one, like when we file a Registration Statement. But at this moment we are not supposed to make any additional comments about the preliminary proxy. We filed the preliminary proxy yesterday, and the SEC wants 10 days to review it. If they have no comments, then we will file the full proxy and can then answer questions and make comments about the proxy. If they do have comments, then we will need to deal those comments and refile a preliminary proxy until the SEC is satisfied.
Brad
Today is day 10 since Rim Semi filed the preliminary proxy. Hopefully we will get information, today, from the company about the proxy statement.
IMO ALL RSMI HAVE ARE QUIET PERIODS!!!
NO NEWS ABOUT TECH!!
NO NEWS ABOUT SALES!!
NO NEWS ABOUT CHIP PRODUCTION !!
NO NEWS ABOUT FIELD TRIALS !!
I KNOW THAT I WILL VOTE NO!! EVEN THOUGH IT WILL PASS AND I URGE OTHERS TO VOTE THE SAME. TO POSSIBLY SEND RAY AND BRAD A MESSAGE WE ARE FEED UP!!!!
4 Billion Shares = No way
Brad and Ray have not done a dam thing to increase share holder value!!! I wish I were making 250K per year as they are.
I will vote NO!!! On the split and hopefully if on the outside chance they really do have a great TECH over copper another company will buy RSMI to bring it to fruition.
IMO Brad and Ray need to step down. AS they have not brought any shareholders increased value. They should have been releasing NEWS on the tech and naming names of companies who were interested in it. Not this silence BS.
IMO I do believe they have a viable tech but we need NEW MANAGEMENT!!!!
Beech; well someone out there must believe that they have what they say to, Front them 750K. I have now where near that kind of cash. BUT I WOULD THINK THAT THOSE THAT DO WOULD NOT INVEST IN A SCAM!!. RSMI stated they needed 500k to complete the ASIC processor seems they should be able to complete it NOW.
Something must be going on for the volume to surge up the way it did today. I will NOT engage the bashers on this board one to one as they now control this board.
Objectivity and truth are not to be found here, all you have are persons stating this is a SCAM ----- NO PROOF DO THEY OFFER ----OTHER THAN TIMELINES IN THE PAST HAVE NOT BEEN MET!
The company web site!!! The CupriaTM 5101 chipset is the flagship product of Rim Semiconductor, delivering breakthrough performance in both reach and rate for broadband over copper. The 5101 is currently available as stand-alone chipsets in FPGA form and is based on the IPSL or Internet Protocol Subscriber Line emerging standard. Serving both the CO/DSLAM and CPE applications, we are currently accepting orders for the Cupria 5101 chipset.
Supporting the Cupria chipset is the CupriaTM 5101A evaluation board. This PTMC-format line card enables rapid testing and evaluation of the Cupria 5101 chipset and includes the software and firmware required to perform testing over copper lines.
Finally, a series of these 5101A line cards can be installed into our new rm-CDS 6000
field evaluation chassis.
Supporting up to nine PTMC form-factor line cards, the rm-CDS 6000 provides multiple configurations for evaluating Cupria's performance under a range of conditions. Two 5101A line cards can be installed for copper loop testing in the laboratory - emulating the DSLAM & CPE configuration - and be fed by a choice of standard off-the-shelf backhaul line cards providing T1 / E1, GPON, HDSL2, or GigE backhaul options. Additionally, this field-hardened unit can also be deployed in CO and RT environments for rigorous testing in real-world applications.
RIM WILL WIN!!!
Ernie posting anything positive on this board about RSMI is pointless. The approx. dozen bashers here post numerous times to your one post to refute what ever you may have to say.
Ernie I will let it play out also, but engaging the dirty dozen on this board would be like inviting the NAACP to a KKK BBQ!!
Their minds or MOTIVES are already set and nothing you say will change them.
Thanks Cobra
For your very in depth report as why RSMI is not a SCAM, My feelings all along as so many other companies would have nothing to do with them if it was!!
I agree with you as trying to debate with (BASHERS) one on one would not leave any time for a life as they post all times of the working day, which leads me to believe NO DAY JOB= MAKES LIVING BY DAY TRADING.
Of course day trading is legal, but when they try to say they are moral ethical persons that have a higher purpose in life I DON’T BUY IT!!
RIM WILL == WIN !!!
EX LOOK AT TIME AND SALES OVER THE LAST 2 MONTHS END OF DAY TRADES
Until I saw the previous post on tick-tock I had forgotten that RSMI had contacted the GSA (Government Services Administration) about their upcoming product.
IF THIS WAS IN ANY WAY A SCAM --- do you think they would have done this!!
It would be like a bank robber stating OK I WILL ROB the bank located at Main street and Oak Avenue at any town USA at 3 PM, Please have law enforcement there to catch me as I am so stupid.
The post 911 world would have any persons trying to do business with the government (ESPECIALLY THOSE IN COMMUNICATIONS) INVESTIGATED!!
In a military conflict what is the objective of a first strike, In Iraq as in any other country it is remove communications from leadership to the field.
THIS ONLY COMMITS MY FAITH IN RSMI, AS I AM SURE THE MANAGEMENT HAS BEEN PUT THROUGH A VERY INTESNIVE INVESTAGATION.
FOR NATIONAL SECURITY REASONS!!!!!!!!!!
RIM WILL WIN!!!!!!
from tick tock board
This is potentially huge for Rim Semi. Remember, Alcatel, AT&T's provider of network equipment, is testing Rim Semi's CupriaTM chipsets. Also remember, Rim Semi submitted a proposal to the GSA over a year ago. In order for Rim Semi chipsets to get into government equipment, Rim Semi will need both a equipment provider (Alcatel) and a Service Provider AT&T. By the GSA awarding the contract to AT&T, the stage is set for further testing of CupriaTM chipsets within the GSA!
UPDATE 2-Sprint among 5 chosen for big US telecoms contract
Reuters - May 31, 2007 5:31 PM ET
By Rachelle Younglai
WASHINGTON, May 31 (Reuters) - The U.S. government on Thursday picked AT&T (T), Level 3 (LVLT), Qwest (Q), Verizon (VZ) and Sprint Nextel (S) for a contract worth up to $20 billion over 10 years to update its telecommunications services.
This is the second of two contracts that comprise the government's Networx program, which is designed to overhaul federal agencies' telecommunication services.
The General Services Administration picked AT&T, Verizon and Qwest for the first contract worth up to $48 billion.
Sprint's failure to win part of the first contract was a surprise because the company had provided telecommunication services to U.S. government agencies for some 18 years.
But Sprint "bid aggressively" in the second contract competition, said John Johnson, GSA's assistant commissioner for integrated technology services. "They were deserving of the award."
The second contract was less demanding than the first and required companies to show they could provide nine mandatory services. The first contract required an ability to provide 36 mandatory services.
The GSA provides business services of all kinds for more than 135 federal agencies and offices.
"It's quite a large population in terms of our customer base," Johnson said at a news conference. "Most, if not all, agencies that we currently have today will choose to use the Networx program."
The contract is flexible enough to allow companies to introduce new technology as it becomes available.
The five winning companies will still have to compete with each other for individual sales within government agencies.
UNIVERSAL WINNERS ALSO ENTERPRISE WINNERS
The three winners of the first contract, Networx Universal, have already started going through a series of mandatory testing to show they can successfully go through a billing and ordering cycle.
Sprint said it was not at a disadvantage.
"They have about a month head-start on us. In a contract that lasts 10 years, that's a minimal advantage," said Tony D'Agata, Sprint's vice president of federal government sales.
D'Agata also appeared unconcerned about the fact that Sprint was not one of the awardees on the Universal contract.
"I think you will find that the Enterprise contract will have the more attractive prices," he said. "Most agencies will naturally want to utilize Networx Enterprise for that reason."
Qwest said it expects to complete its round of mandatory tests at the end of August or early September.
On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of AT&T closed up 36 cents at $41.34. Qwest rose 2 cents to $10.29, Verizon finished off 29 cents at $43.53 and Sprint was unchanged at $22.85. On Nasdaq, Level 3 eased 9.9 cents to $5.81.

See the attached link for a chart of different internet speeds
http://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/0,,sid9_gci214198,00.html
These are facts which I am sure the bashers will continue to IGNORE. Or take out of content.
RIM WILL WIN!!!
RIM WILL WIN!!!!!
Chipwa: satillite is crap after being a victim of their BS which I had no choice until recently, I was able to obtain cable as I live in a rural area. Also wireless (cell phone service is very similar).
IF YOU WANT UNLIMITED!! BROADBAND THEIR ARE ONLY TWO (2) CHOICES AVAILABLE NOW DSL OR CABLE IN MOST AREAS OF THE COUNTRY.
I now pay 39.95 per month for cable internet for 3 MBS service.
(NO TV)
The following is a repost about Sat service.
I have Hughes net satellite service which has a FAP (fair access policy) is what they call it. But!!! After you have down loaded a certain number of MEGABYTES it cuts you off of high speed connection. (Funny, they do not put that in their ads)!!!!
I also researched in my area wireless phone services for internet plans. After you have exceeded their limit they hit you with premium charges. YES is out there BUT they will not give you unlimited high speed. They all have similar in the fine print.
highspeed broadband
part of my letter to Hughes Sat Network.
Hughes Network,
WHERE IN YOUR ADVERTISMENTS DO YOU MENTIION YOUR RESTRICTIONS ON HIGH SPEED SERVICE?
I have been a subscriber since the old “DirectPC” days and your service has only gone down hill since then.
I thought my computer was at fault for slow down load speeds until I found out about your policy of “FAP” Fair access policy which kills my down load to that of a dial up connection speed after YOUR preset limit on high speed.
I need to find my original agreement with DirectPC since you have taken over their service, as I feel I may be Grandfathered in WITHOUT THE “FAP”.
Oh, by the way I see you are adding 10,000 more subscribers per month. That’s great, but how many more satellites are you installing to carry the increased load? Your “FAP” is just your method of trying to spread your limited resources to as many customers as possible.
OH, BTW I NEVER GOT A RESPONSE FROM HUGHES NETWORK.
GOOD MORNING....RIM WILL WIN!!!
I have meet and deal with many lab techs that make 100k per year. OH gee they must be in rocket science. YEP GOLLY GEE THEY SURE ARE right here in red neck central Mississippi...
http://newsblaze.com/story/20070508084658tsop.nb/newsblaze/MISSISSI/Mississippi.html
Hate to bust your bubble whpo3 but good techs DO NOT COME CHEAPLY!! MOST CAR DEALERSHIPS CHARGE 75-85 PER HOUR for their mechanics (aka techs).
Or call GE or SEARS when your refrigerator stops cooling average price for labor and coming to your house 150.00 plus parts. 75.00 trip charge + 75.00 min labor. (appliance tech when I worked for GE 5 years ago was 25.00 per hour) plus I had 6 weeks paid vacation and 2 days xmas, 2 days thanksgiving, 1 new years, MLK day, labor day, presidents day, memorial day, 4th of july and a couple I missed holidays WITH PAY!!
So RSMI paying 55.00 is not out of line!!
RIM WILL WIN!!!

This is the only job posting on RSMI that mentions wages that I have seen.
So when the bashers accuse management of disapprobation of funds to their own accounts I do not believe them!! (IF THEY HAD ANY PROOF AT ALL OTHER THAN THEIR OPINION THEY WOULD HAVE TAKEN IT TO LEGAL MEANS)
RIM WILL WIN!!!
Pengy this post is off topic and should be deleted by Ihub. My OT posts were and I have to be fair I like you Pengy but I had to state that goldrusher was also posting OT.
RIM WILL WIN!!
GOLD THIS POST is off topic AND SHOULD BE DELETED BY IHUB TOU VIOLATION.
RIM WILL WIN!!
Pengy AND Ernie glad to see you guys back.
RIM WILL WIN
"He who protests too much has most to hide". Funny how many vehemently denied a post I made about day traders. (Notice I mention no names here as the basher coalition tries to make it a TOU violation as a personal attack) Day trading is legal boys and girls and yet you would have thought I insulted their mother, by their response. Since most of the bashers seem to have a slogan to close by I will to.
RIM WILL WIN!!
I can't wait to see the denials from my previous post will be!! no no we just spend all of our valueable time defending people from themselves!!! LOL LOL LOL
Ophelia; you stated you have joined the IPSL.SIG; OK lets clarify this did they accept you as a member? Or did you just fill out the application? It has been stated by the company that Mr. Narin will be compensated by the IPSL.SIG and not RSMI. Have you paid whatever dues or fees they require for membership? Do they require that you are a representative of a corporation that will use the technology? I think these are all logical questions I look forward to your reply.
Seems the bashers working more than usual this weekend. Did the video on the company web site stir you all up? http://www.rimsemicon.com/about_company.html
I love how the bashers here WANT THE LONGS TO DO THEIR DD FOR THEM. It is not my job to provide patent app #'s for them or patents they have LEGALLY LISCENED TO USE.
YES ex 100k MEMBERSHIP IS KNOWN ALL OVER the world when you make statements like that it just shows your agenda to keep bashing. IMO you did not like my statement to go to RB to post alternative sites for others to their own DD. As far as myself having another drink i think you need a few also "In Vino Veritas" LOL
I will even start posting on the basher “pat them self’s on the back site Raging Bull” to steer anyone that might be interested to Ihub and Tick-Tock.
Thanks Ex for your criticism of OZ not knowing of this site, I am sure many do not as I Ihub has only just over 100k members, I would think that RB has many more as they have been around much longer!!
whp03 WHY do you continue to post lies? The outstanding shares are clearly posted when you enter this forum. "431,096,934 *note: data was provided by transfer agent on May 3, 2007*"
you stated ---------"With 500-900 million shares out now and over the next 1-3 yrs - their licensing fees aren't going to go very far." EVERYTHING YOU POST LIKE THIS SHOULD BE PREFACED WITH IMO BACAUSE THAT IS ALL IT IS NO!! Facts!!
I really appreciate all the comedy I get from the bashers reminds me of the movie “Dumb and Dumber” or “Chicken Little” COPPER IS DEAD= THE SKY IS FALLING!!
History of the light bulb. The inventor Thomas Alva Edison (in the USA) experimented with thousands of different filaments to find just the right materials to glow well and be long-lasting. In 1879, Edison discovered that a carbon filament in an oxygen-free bulb glowed but did not burn up for 40 hours. Edison eventually produced a bulb that could glow for over 1500 hours.
Lewis Howard Latimer (1848-1928) improved the bulb by inventing a carbon filament (patented in 1881); Latimer was a member of Edison's research team, which was called "Edison's Pioneers." In 1882, Latimer developed and patented a method of manufacturing his carbon filaments.
In 1903, Willis R. Whitney invented a treatment for the filament so that it wouldn't darken the inside of the bulb as it glowed. In 1910, William David Coolidge (1873-1975) invented a tungsten filament which lasted even longer than the older filaments. The incandescent bulb revolutionized the world.
As by the above I believe that RSMI and the IPSL.SIG (RSMI will receive royalties) just as other inventors improved on Edison’s bulb.
(Voluntary Disclosure: Position- Long; ST Rating- Strong Buy; LT Rating- Strong Buy)
Thanks! for you report HopefulOne
Welcome to the board OZ. refreshing to see someone who is objective for a change.
