At 65ish how long will Bruce want to keep doing this and who would be his successor? Are there a lot of CEOs over 70? Does anyone see this as a negative for the future of hemp inc?
Per Bruce “...I won’t give too much away right now, but Hemp, Inc. has been working on something that could potentially revolutionize the hemp industry… specifically something to aid growers/farmers in the hemp growing process and make our shareholders very happy.”
Let’s hope this is true. Cautiously optimistic because of those dreadful words “could potentially”, would have preferred “will”. Nonetheless, It takes foresight and time with a new industry.
GLTA
I sure hope you are right, long and strong. Still need buyback.
I do agree and I suppose I am one those still down. To me the only way Bruce makes things right is to give back the reverse split or make a huge buyback. Great to see progress but early investors got screwed by Bruce in my opinion so until that's corrected I can't say hemp is a great company or that Bruce is a great CEO. It is what it is but man show some appreciation for those that invested before the 2nd farm bill to help get the company where it is today. I guess time will tell. I want to believe but can't help but be skeptical. Long and strong regardless...
Can someone explain what a stock share agreement is? Respectfully, novice.
I couldn't quite understand exactly what a stock share is. Can someone explain what this means? I'm assuming it should be looked at favorably.
Great post, that basically covers all my questions and sentiment. I hope you get some answers and please do share.
I don't see a RS in the future as Bruce said that would not happen. However, he did mention buyback but responded to an inquiry about it on FB a few weeks back and said it would not be right away. Someday hopefully we will be part of this wonderful narrative: https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/17/investing/stock-buybacks-trillion-dollars/index.html
What's to be made of the felony provision?
How is Bruce and Hemp ever going to make up for the 10-1 reverse split. Even a September to remember won't make up for the dilution that has weighed on long term share holders. Don't get me wrong, very happy for all the shareholders getting in now at the right time but that was and continues to be a major slap in the face for shareholders who believed in Hemp sometime back.
Until they give back the 10-1 reverse split and buy back massive dilution this is only benefiting new investors and not long term holders who believed in the company a long while back only to be burned. I'll keep holding but gonna take an epic run to reverse those negative takeaways
I want this stock to get off the OTC and on to a reputable exchange at some point. Does anyone see that in the next 5 years. Other exchanges you can rely on rules and formalities. This is the Wild West but I knew that coming in.
What does it take to leave the OTC? Can HEMP ever get out of here, a lot of assumptions and few guidelines that I would love to see go by the wayside for this company to be seen as legit.
Post 2013/14 spike there was a wonderful 10:1 reverse split. Still waiting for the buyback that was promised but you need revenue before that can even happen and even then will take a lot to get back dilution from that move. Until then, hard to trust this company with any more of my investments.
Board, will Hemp Inc be above a dollar 10 years from now or still a penny stock?
Until this is back to pre reverse split, its great for some and much to be desired for many. It's positive but man a long way to go.
I feel Hemp inc (aka Bruce) needs to someday reverse the 10:1 reverse split he pulled to get my confidence back. Not to mention buy back shares. I want to believe in Hemp inc but that was a sour move IMO. Was it really necessary, I don't understand why it was done. Can someone explain? Maybe there's a good explanation.
Just going to be straight up, I bought back when this thing was at its high just after the farm act in 2014 and before the reverse split. I'm probably down some 97% and have no choice but to wait it out hoping on a shooting star. Probably would have better luck playing the lottery but I already made my bed.
I wonder how many on this board are in the same predicament. I can probably wait another 10-15 years but I can't say I'm optimistic.
Anyone have any hope for the return of the split and think this will actually give me 100% of my money back one day and then some?
You are right, 3.40. How is it possible to get back there without either HEMP buying back stock or reversing the reverse split. I'm way down so just inquiring as I'll be sitting on this for a while but have always thought of this as a long position.
Question - I've been in this for years now. Does anyone on this board think this stock will ever get back to pre R/S level or higher in the next 10 years? That would be somewhere above 1.60 or so I believe.
They also keep saying we should see a financial report by end of week, any substance to that?
"The financial report for the second quarter of the year should be submitted by the end of the week..."
