Follow the money! From what I've heard any member of the board of directors can request a financial audit. Analyzing what you get back should give a clue to your next steps.
I thought the company went bankrupt, how is this still trading? Did they get all the paperwork filed?
I doubt that guy had anything to do with the predictions or press releases.
Looks like a lot has changed.
I rarely visit this site anymore as those of you who have been here a while have seen the consistent and absolute crazy posts. Mostly negative. I don't have time in my life for that shiznit.
I made log term investment and it looks like its working out so far. I'll have to put my greed aside for a little while longer, oh well.
While I'm disappointed the PPS got kicked in the "dolls" I think what the company, as a whole has done, is amazing. Three big box retailer relationships, a merger in the works and simply over coming many steep challenges start ups come with... Now that's impressive for anyone.
Good Luck OWOO!!!
I'm also a free account and cannot respond to PM's.
I figured I'd buy one since I'm rooting for OWOO! I don't have kids but gave it to my neighbor's daughter who absolutely loved it! Every time she sees me, I get a... "Thank you for the Doll". Clearly its a good product with a good message!
A buddy told me these guys were in a Walmart store by his house in Houston off Kirkwood. I checked it out on my way to work and it's legit. Great job guys! I can't wait to see what you've got in store for next year.
It's been a while since I've looked at this puppy. Luckily, I'm young enough to have time and a higher than average risk tolerance. Looks like the company continues to make good moves. Can't wait to hear what's next!
Nice analysis Claytrader
It always seems easier to fall into the trap of DOOM&GLOOM than it is to maintain a forward looking vision. I'd be interested in seeing what last year numbers looked like at this same time for comparison. I'd bet there probably very similar.
They said they had big news so I'm holding out until then and it probably answers why none of them have been here recently. I know I'd kick my employee's butt's if they spent all their time online without anything to show for it.
Unless they file for chapter 11, I'm not going sweat a few chicken little's or D&G-er's saying the same thing they've shouted for two years now! My parents taught me things worth having don't come overnight.
Best of luck to you guys @ OWOO
I have to agree with HotC on this pennyhero. There's no way the company investors would allow for them to fail at this point. With an opportunity to really see what the company can do they'll get into national market. What happens after that is the real test!
Still looks good from what I see:
I can say with honesty that my emotions ride the high and lows of price swings (purely emotional responses to money decisions that don't affect my ability to eat - investment) but the reality of a deal with one or more major players can't be denied. The "boys in blue" deal sounds like its coming along and most likely pending negotiations with the "boys in red" should make everyone take notice.
If everything comes down to management, in the end, then I'd have say they're kick'in A$$! To me, this team's working with the best of best. An outstanding and effective designer, a serial entrepreneur, a long standing banker, seasoned product developers and retail insiders along with a top rated PR firm! WHAT ELSE COULD YOU ASK FOR? Looks to me like they had a sound strategy and are executing it with precision.
Bottom line, they still look solid and this years "Tonner" addition and market movement (not trading) looks likely to get them to the next level. I'm still in...
Or maybe... There is really good news on the way. Who'd of thunkit if a toy company actually makes and sells toys!!!
Amazon is on board, sweet! Way to go OWOO!
sampa's the secret string puller of OWOO, who knew???
Looks like Al didn't DD his post.
The map he posted clearly shows the company under the T section for The One World Doll Project and if you hover over booth 6369 their name comes up. Keep up the good work!!!
Wow! Looks like lots of interest on the bid side.
It's way more than 50 stores. If you look at their webpage you can see a map of retail locations that span the most populated areas of Texas, sorry panhandle!
High and tight!
Another strong day!
Let's kick it into gear!
WHAT WHAT!!!
Time for the breakout!!!
I agree Luv. It's easy to tell who the Trolls are on this board.
From what I gather the OWOO guys are building a company like every company before them. Make a product and sell it. Just like everyone else out there.
I'm sure these stores care less about racism and more about satisfying customers and profit. I've looked online at many different kinds of dolls and OWOO has the quality to compete. I can't wait to hear what happens at Toy Fair this year!
The church purchase is true! I have a friend who goes there and she confirmed it!
A lawsuit can go either way.
I'll bet there's more to the story here than the paid shorter's on this site are selling...
Like Chizzo said, starting a company is difficult and these guys have made some big progress over the last year. I can't wait to see the sales figures and draw my own conclusion.
All I can say is that the company must be doing something right. To even get onto "The Real" do TV interviews, major online publications like USATODAY and talking to random people at the grocery store who have the dolls...
I think the market will respond accordingly.
That's incredible!
The volume is bumping...
I'll bet the phone is ringing off the hook this morning!!!
Looks like the show this morning is creating a lot of buzz!
So I did a little research recently. Sum is correct about it taking time to get online or in stores at Walmart. I asked around and it can take a month or more for large companies to get all the moving pieces together. Looks like we'll have to wait and see but it doesn't make sense for them to lie about something like that. I'm sure we'll see it soon enough. Patience young grasshoppers...
On a random crazy side note. I went to Target yesterday and talked to the check out girl about the dolls. She laughed and mentioned her daughter has one "Lena". I guess the dolls are getting around.
Can't wait to see the annual report!
Just read this article the other day. Here's a quick view of America's real emerging market.

For those who think the product has little or nothing to do with the stock price, you need to be realistic. It's a fundamental part of the price because people don't buy stock for stuff people don't use. That's why biotech companies file for bankruptcy when the data shows their product doesn't do want it should.
In One World's case, it looks like people want and need it - supply and demand!
I don't normally post on these kinds of sites but here goes...
From what I've read so far, I don't think most if any of you have done your trench work. I know there's a lot of information online about everything in the world but when's the last time you stepped into an OWOO retailer and asked a manager about the company selling their products? Most online sellers also have contact emails that, in my case, were happy to respond to my inquires about OWOO. Just be smart about what and how you ask. It's interesting what you can find out from people versus reading the web. In this case, I was pleasantly surprised. Both managers and suppliers were happy with the product and admitted they needed them. Maybe I just got happy people or maybe it's true, I'm leaning toward the later.
It's pretty easy to see from some of these posting there's a personal vendetta driving negative reactions to OWOO in "anything" the founder does. Maybe he's a jerk but if he's getting the job done who cares. I'm sure Bill Gates was a prick when started moving Microsoft out his basement. I'll be the first to admit the financials look pretty, if not, very bad but their a start-up, it goes with the territory and if the company's having the same progress with other retailers this may be winner.
Still, the stock volume and price are a little too volatile for me jump too far in but I can swap a few nights of going out with the bro's to grab a little, just to see how it ends up after Christmas.
Later gaiters...
