I totally understand what you're saying, but if this thing collapses in 2 weeks and there are 0 buyers to unload on. We're going to be stuck with worthless shares. .02 is at least SOMETHING back.
I know it's a shot in the dark, but is anyone going to join any of these class action suits?
I agree. I'm still long, as I think this company continues to produce and grow.
That said...what do you see as the "un-tamed" price?
I'm not going anywhere once this thing get's back online.
I've been avoiding this board because of the constant empty back and forth. Still long PHOT. But what did I miss? Why is this supposedly taking a hit tomorrow?
Congrats fellow longs. Loving these numbers. But I do worry that we haven't really consolidated at all above .40. Straight up is great for a quick trade, but for investors, we need to build strong bases.
That said, this is the first time since I've been in (last November) that I honestly feel we can see $1+
LONG PHOT. LONG LEGALIZATION.
MAC D about to cross back over...
That would help me sleep at night.
That's not at all what I said. If you read back through some of my older posts, you'll see that I've always been critical of the "news is coming" BSers.
I think management owed us all a report on the vote, how it played out, why it played out the way it did and, most importantly, what's to come now that it's behind us. I did expect something along those lines immediately following Feb 7th. That never came.
I expected to see something, anything, by the time I got back from my trip. What's in the pipeline? Any GIFT news (you know, the news that was rumored BY MANAGEMENT to drop around new years...or was it Valentines Dayish?) Are we talking to any other companies about future projects? I live in Florida. I was unable to attend the meeting, or any other possible shareholder/management get-together in California. I don't need, or want, PRs everyday, but let's be honest...I feel extremely in the dark right now. You must admit that prior to this vote (which at the time was a very big deal) we had PR and news pieces constantly. Now, ever since the vote, it's been radio silence. To me, that smells foul. If this vote really was such a big deal, then someone, somewhere needs to be talking about where the company is going now that it's over.
So I've been to Mexico. And back.
I caught some weird Mexican virus that sent me close to my death bed. And back.
And not a peep from this company in that entire time. Nearly a month now. Did they get want they were after (the 'yes' vote) and pack up their toys and turn their back on their shareholders? Not even a half-assed report about what was discussed at the meeting.
For the record I've completely lost faith in management. I'm still long PHOT only because I believe in the sector, the industry and the fact that the eventual political and social changes to come for marijuana will make this a lucrative investment. But not hearing anything from management since the controversial vote is bad form. I understand they have a business to run (I assume that's what they're doing) but these are the same people who, leading up to the vote, put out puff pieces every few days. My confidence has been destroyed and that's a shame since I was an initial supporter. I feel dupped.
I guess the good thing to be gathered from this is that the 2-bit players on this board who would promise us constantly that "news is coming!!!" have gone. I trust they aren't missed.
For those newbies asking if now is a good time to get in...
Take a look at today's charts for some of the big ticker symbols throughout the mmj sector. You'll notice at exactly 2pm, they all shot up. This corresponded with the positive news out of Washington regarding the banks and the handling of mj money.
National marijuana-related news, lifting the sector. Think about it: only 2 states are legal right now. There is still a LONG road to go. And with each step, more interest turns to these names and more money flows into the sector. In my opinion, PHOT is the most well-run, well-established and most respected of them all.
I was fortunate to get in early. Then I got in again at .22 and again at .31. There is a revolution going on in this country and this is the ground floor of what will soon be a thriving business. There will be ups and downs (just like everything. Hell, I got into Tesla at $28 and was shaken out at $36. Look where it is now...$200, I believe.)
So, yes. Now is a GREAT time to get in. Have a great weekend, PHOT longs and PHOT newbies!
And they always seem to have new names.
There are stocks I don't like either, but you won't find me on those boards trashing them. Their agenda is completely transparent.
LONG PHOT.
Staircase up. Elevator down.
But, in the immortal words of Prince: When the elevator tries to bring you down...GO CRAZY.
PHOT showing some strength today. We have more technical room to run with the RSI being where it is. I'd really like to see that MACD separate again.
Why? Do you miss vague posts with empty promises?
You're right. And that can really come back to bite us if we don't see one.
Either way, congrats on the green day, fellow longs.
This thing has wound itself crazy tight. Any breakout upwards should be a big one. RSI ripe for a nice ride too.
The way I saw it, that was already in the pipeline. They were just awaiting the "yes" vote (formality) to get the green light to move forward. The PR's should've already been written and waiting.
As I called last night, the MACD crossed. This thing is going to be toast for a while until some strong news attracts more new buyers.
Where's Apostle been after telling us what great news will be here? Sure do miss those vague, meaningless posts. Just kidding. I don't at all.
Not worried at all long-term, but strictly looking at the chart...
Another down day and that MACD will be VERY close to crossing. Once that happens, with no news, I fear a technical sell off. And any time that happens, we have panic selling to add to it. If it happens, where do we bounce?
Either way, it'd be a great loading area for all of us. Especially you newbies who had built a position in the .30s.
Hoping it doesn't happen though.
Long PHOT
Very happy with today's outcome.
A special thank you to yesterday's bashers. I was able to almost double my position at .31 today. Now I'm in with both hands AND both feet. Liking the hammer candle and a lower RSI...room to run next week, folks! Have a great weekend.
Long PHOT!
Newbies: Ignore the spin on this board.
Do your own research on the difference between A/S Vs. O/S and learn the truth.
Long PHOT.
New buy order in at .31. If it goes through, I will nearly double my position.
I keep missing the big early morning dips because I'm at work. Why can't that happen when I'm on my lunch break???
Where do you get that number?
What is the best site for trading sub pennies? Optionhouse absolutely kills me on the fees.
Long PHOT. So many bullish signals on that beautiful chart.
I've asked before...I want to ask again now that we're closer to Feb 7th and in a strong uptrend:
Do you think a 'yes' vote is already priced into the PPS?
Personally, I do. IMO, the vote is now just a formality, which is why I'm going to hold throughout the week instead of going with my old plan of getting out pre-7th, waiting for a dip, then getting back in for my continued long position.
Either way, holding or selling...going into this vote is a huge gamble.
RSI and MACD look great.
Looks ready for a technical run
At this rate we'll be red within the hour.
At this rate we'll be red within the hour.
Yikes. That red candle swallowing yesterday's is VERY bearish.
I agree with what you're saying. It's just frustrating. I hate the manipulation.
Still though, I don't understand why we lose a couple percentage points going into the last few minutes of the day. It seems to be turning into a pattern.
I'm not seeing any real resistance until .40 (maybe .29ish)
If this thing can get some volume, it'll get sucked up like a vacuum. Lots of room to run, for sure.

The rest of the sector blasts off during the last hour and we flat line and drop. I don't get it
Looks like the MACD is going to cross again soon. This will lead to a technical rally. Look what happened when it crossed back in early December.
This looks strong leading up to the unknown of Feb 7th.
I personally think a 'yes' vote is already considered in the current pps.
What's your take on this bloodbath?
Keep in mind the entire market got slaughtered today. Granted, this sector is in a world of its own right now, but still, there were few greens in a massive sea of red. Plus it's Friday, tax time, yadda yadda
PHOT was my only winner today. My bio positions were absolutely destroyed.
Nice analysis.
I appreciate someone on here that can post with useful information as opposed to just throwing out random numbers with no backing whatsoever.
I agree with everything you said. My only fear is the fact that we could not hold .25 today. That worries me going into next week. If we see a technical dip right out of the gate Monday because of it, I fear there will be (ignorant) panic selling and this thing could give up a lot of the gains/momentum it worked so hard to get this week. If we were able to hold .25, I would've been certain we'd see .29 next week (sans any news or PRs). Now, I think we may revisit the .18 area.
One question: do you think this market has already assumed a yes vote Feb 7th?
I bet Bill must've been a LOST fan, what with all his secret easter eggs. (Of course, I hope PHOT's pay off is better than the series final)
Might take PHOT with it.
Strong support at 8.50. Great reversal and a beautiful candle today. This is going back up.
I'm hoping that was just profit taking at the end there. Which surprises me knowing there's a massive gap to be filled and we're just dancing on its doorstep.
If we break 1.80, I don't think there's anything stopping this until almost $3.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
In a vacuum, I'd agree with you 100%. But all of what you just mentioned was out there yesterday and PHOT was the only one in the sector (that I noticed) that continued its free fall.
I'm starting to think the only people with any faith in this company are the 5 or 6 of us longs on this board. When I first started researching this sector early last year I narrowed it down between PHOT and CBIS. I have since sold all of my CBIS and stayed long PHOT. For the first time, I'm starting to think I should've done the reverse.
