I dont remember what/who got me in at .0018 but im happy they did!
From Ohio and saw this article regarding Ohio Medical Marijuana. The article is interesting but i want to direct your attention to the comments mainly. You can see people believe in the cause and want it to be legal at very minimum for medical use.

I'll try and keep you guys updated on Ohio whenever I see more progress.
haha i was like i hope not
adding more tomorrow!
I don't know if i'd say its "working". I am glad to see it though.
GO TTDZ!!!
actually let me revise my assumption. If you were saying its undetected in MtGOX's system then yeah, if you are taking the side of MtGOX's side trying to blame the code bitcoin then no.
"previously undetected glitch"
Actually thats incorrect. The bug is actually well known and has been well known for years. its called “Transaction Malleability”
everyone should read this article by Blockchain

good timing. i freed up some funds to add today!
haha thats too good.
Wow im pretty impressed, though i dont know why because i normally buy 100 bucks worth every pay check. Honestly I'm pretty surprised with adoption going the way it is. Don't get me wrong im really happy to hear this. Cant wait to see how our ATMs do.
Actually I have never thought about what it would take but I can assume the no one with buy a whole coin from an ATM. People that want large volumes, which one coin is pretty high amount, with use exchanges. I personally use coinbase for my purchases. I see the average purchase on an ATM to be twenty bucks. But I could be completely wrong. With all that being said I'll actually look into some fact/stats about the transactions. And thanks for the compliments. I'm pretty geeky and its just recently that I took bitcoin from being a fun hobby (mining) and turned to investing.
eh, i guess. if youre rocking like 6800 cards or something. I can see what youre saying this is the case, but then again why not just add another rig or something. Because you'd get more use out of a lower hash rig on middlecoin then trying to upgrade. Just my opinion. When i sell, if i sell, it would mean im done mining. And since i already made my initial investment back. It wouldn't break my heart if i just threw them out or just changed my rig to solve proteins or something.
Well fellow BYSD's its been good discussing bitcoins and mining. Please PM if you do have questions about Bitcoins. I will not just give you my opinion on them but will lead you to plenty of material that will definitely educate you on what bitcoin is.
Go BYSD!!! I cant wait to see an ATM
lol why would you sell. There is so much money to be made mining IF you know what you are doing.
Again i have to disagree. Yeah maybe 10% of bitcoin miners will do this, but the majority of miners i know. Do what all miners are doing. Switching to altcoins. Miners will go to whatever is the most profitable coin. I dont know one miner that is dedicated to a coin. They are dedicated to profits.
Actually thats incorrect. A year ago, i remember when my friend approached me with the idea to mine bitcoin, it was still not profitable. ASICs were already out (KCminer, Butterfly Labs, etc) At that time you the thing to do was mine litecoin, it was roughly only $8 a coin, i remember because i bought a ton. We started mining that.
Yeah i agree about the PR for a while being strange. But then again why state something if you aren't 100% sure its what you want to do. Just because the people in the company, who ever claims to have mined the coins, like bitcoin doesnt mean the company A) had a plan to enter the bitcoin industry or B) even knew what to do in the industry. The bitcoin industry is young at least with companies. But I do side with you, but i can also see why there would be no PR.
Well one thing to consider. If you were to seriously mine, you would do what majority of miners do. (unless youre a supporter of a coin for different reasons) A) you would not mine bitcoin its not profitable. B) you mine an Altcoin (litecoin, dogecoin, netcoin, peercoin, etc) C) you trade.
the 10 btc a year example.
6 GPUs of R9 280x est. hashrate 3.6mhash/s with no tweek 600khash/s per card. Lets say you were lazy about it and you wanted to use a site like middlecoin.com you could make ~1btc a month hence approx. 12 btc a year. And thats at its current difficulty. A rig like this only costs around 3k. If you want ill even give you the list to buy it because i already have this.
I dont know about their setup obviously because they haven't stayed. And the company itself doesnt necessarily need to be the ones with the rigs they could just obtain the coins differently even if its the owners mining.
Actually i doubt they only have 10 btc. If they have been mining over a year, depending on their rig and i doubt i have a bigger rig than people with more money than me, they have well over 10 btc. I can make 10 btc in a year with my mining rig. I can even do the math for you if you would live to prove it.
Army i would love to know what you are research material is where you feel confident in your question of:
"what" type of coin
Appreciate the welcome. Got in BYSD last week (early week) and have been reading the board about everyday just to see what everyone is saying about BYSD.
But when it comes to bitcoin. Adoption right now is key. With overstock already excepting bitcoin and today Tigerdirect started accepting. We're, imo, on a great start. I believe from articles i've read and tweets i've seen(ill dig up what i can if requested) that Newegg.com and Amazon.com(this one, Amazon, i feel will have to happen with major retailers starting to accept).
IMO, it will be exciting to read the news about how people are taking to the BTC ATMs. I can't wait to use one myself.
Not going to lie as someone who has been in the bitcoin world for quite a long time this is the funniest comment ever. If they say they own 100k btc. they are referring to whole coins. remember btc/bitcoin/bitc w/e you want to say is a unit. So when you have .0001 bitcoin you just .0001btc or you can say 1mbtc for micro.
As for this "I would hate to see them holding a 100K bitcoins at .0001 per coin!" that literally makes no sense. no one has a bitcoin at a certain price is whatever the exchange rate is. You dont buy a bitcoin for $13 and it will forever be $13.
I hope this helps. if anyone needs information/explanation of bitcoins please ask me. I've been mining/trading/spending bitcoins for quite a while now.
well honestly i think its rather stable for bitcoin. I've been mining for over a year now, not bitcoins but other alt coins. And then trading them for bitcoins via bter.com or cryptsy.com
this is the best place to check price imo
