Nice volume and movement today, although I have no understanding what prompted it.
I continue to have a short term target of about 6-8 dollars and longer term north of 10 dollars.
Zacks - BUY w/ price target 6.85

worth the read
hopefully a harbinger of increased recognition and good things to come
This thing is so undertraded. I really wonder what the PPS reflects; without a lively bit of trading its hard to look at it. One hopes that the broader market will become interested and more volume will drive the share price up w such a small float.
i dont have much to add that i havent already said but i appreciate the insights/opinions put forth. Agree that it is possible/likely that european macro factors exerted downwards pressure on ROB division's contribution to the bottom line in the last 2-3 quarters, although I think it's probably hard for us to quantify
I think the overall trend of this company's increases in revenues and earnings will continue to rise.
the company doesnt have to post a 300% increase in revenues every single quarter to be a growing company in my eyes. Slower growth, especially via a model of combining acquisitions w/ growth of existing businesses, is fine by me.
this is clearly a growing company. The fact that they are consolidating for 9 months in between acquisitions is not an issue for me.
By the numbers:
EPS before split .07.
EPS after the split should be approx .07x6/1 = .42-45, plus whatever earnings growth is achieved.
Industry p/e of 13-17 gives a fair pps at that EPS 6-8 dollars per share
thats not pricing in growth - and this is the definition of a growth stock. lets say the eps is .50 by this summer, and lets say the market rewards that growth with a more generous p/e of 17; pps would then be 8.50, for example. Even by the most conservative estimates, flat earnings and no bonus in valuation for growth prospects, this stock is heavily undervalued. This is both a growth play and a value play simultaneously.
uplisting will take out some of the risk discount of being an otc penny stock, in my view, and an efficient market will increase the share price appropriately.
yeah, i have a buy at 3.20, if i am lucky enough to see it sink that low.
the pps currently to me is almost meaningless on laughable 100 share trades by MMs. Frustratingly low volumes on this stock that needs volume to grow given the low float. i hope that the recent breakout and news will draw more attention and an influx of investor cash to really shoot the pps up
yes. strong move up in the pps reflecting low selling on behalf of stockholders and optimism re: RS and uplisting. Im optimistic.
when i bought back in the .20s my price target was around 1.10, when it hit a dollar i sold half my holding, and the other half I have held on to. Id say my price target for now is only a bit higher, maybe 8.00 to 8.25 after the r/s. This is based on p/e multipliers being c/w competitors, plus some consideration for strong growth.
wondering the same thing.
I think market response and pps will be positive - reflecting the idea that this company is not an OTC company (ie a typical penny stock gamble) but a real company with real and significant earnings, demonstrated growth, and now on the verge of uplisting and entering the radar screens of more investors who might recognize that.
i think the long period of this being an underrecognized and undervalued stock are over. Wish i had the kind of liquidity (and foresight) to pick up more in the high .40s but obviously hindsight is 20/20!
I actually like this move. I still feel the primary obstacle to appreciation of share price has been lack of attention and inflow of investor cash. The fundamentals are all there. The earnings, growth, and other financials are all there. Being listed on the NASDAQ, rather than OTC, will help with that problem.
share price already moving up strong in reaction. Decent volume.
Feeling that nice rosy feeling for adding a week or two ago in the sixties. I really don't see how, with these financials, this stock stays below one dollar.
As we approach that number, I think ideas about uplisting come into play. As several have pointed out, listing on an exchange brings more attention and more available buyers, more volume, etc. In a stock with this small of a float, that is this obviously undervalued just based on fundamentals, I don't see how we don't quickly jump to where we should be. I think we are right on the edge of that process starting and when it does the pps will snowball
very exciting
Can someone summarize the best theory on what has happened to ANVs pps this week? Why the nose dive? Earnings on Monday gonna be bad?
Still think this is on sale, especially now, but unexplained drops always make me nervous. Nothing to do but hold from here.
couldnt agree more.
lack of volume and/or attention is hurting the pps. When volume comes the price will fly on strong fundamentals and growth.
Im still fairly stunned as to how cheap ANV is day after day. Is this the world's greatest company? Obviously not. Is it worth more than 2.50 a share? Of course. I thought it was a good deal at 3.00.
Not efficient; I guess the point of investing is to find an inefficiency and exploit, which is why I have a position here, but it's certainly painful to wait for the payoff that we all hope is coming...
Agreed.
From my perspective, the backwards slide over the past 6 months imho is more related to uncertainty and lack of a good idea for when some meaty news will drop into our laps... unless I have missed some major developments? (honestly I have not been following ONCS so closely lately and maybe I missed something important, fill me in if so)
Also meant to mention
Just based on some back of the envelope math, I'd say a fair target price at this point is around 1.20-1.30; new acquisitions, large orders, or any other changes that alter the fundamentals of the stock would change things for me.
I mention this just to give a sense of what I'm thinking, idk if that is helpful for anyone else.
Personally, if/when we reach that level, I will still hang on to a large portion of my position; this is a company that is positioned for continued growth and growing their business...
Looking forward to the next developments
When the next quarterly drops, in December or January (I would not be surprised or upset if it is January - if they are busy with a new acquisition or something else eating up their attention, I think it's reasonable to give them some time), it should reflect they insane amount of growth over the last year in the annual report. I expect this to possibly draw attention to our little corner of the OTCBB as people will be looking for value plays that are underpriced, have a strong growth trajectory, and positive cash flows with net profit.
I doubled down in the .60s on my position in CTEI as I didn't really expect it to see those prices again, but it does seem like someone who has perhaps held the stock for a while wanted to exit their large position. I can understand that if he/she needed the cash, but I am sure they held on to some of their shares and kept some skin in the stock - there isn't a lot of downside if you are a long term investor who has had the stock since the cheaper days.
ROTH offer: I saw that too on the yahoo MB and wasn't sure what it was all about either. Came here to try to find out but I guess no one has heard anything?
Maybe they know something early that will hit next week? Maybe its all made up? Who knows. Some guy was saying he could see it on the level 2
Yeah, this small fry pps movement is meaningless to me... I would like to see some real volume and finish our consolidation in the 82-94 cent range so we can continue our move to the upside. Consolidation is good for the holders in the long run and will support another big run up in the pps as new growth and continued increasing revenues make the news
This still needs more visibility, the book price should be about 1.10 by my math, and thats not pricing in any growth ideas or the impending acquisition; just based on the last three quarters of revenue/profits which I believe are sustainable.
At 80-90 cents this is a buy in the short term, as I think news will spike this thing at least 10-20 percent. Anything up to a dollar is a good deal for a long play, imho
Regarding new acquisition
From the press release/news story:
"The company expects to complete the transaction by August 31st 2014 and use its existing capital to complete the deal."
I wonder if this was an expensive acquisition? It can't have been if the purchase was financed by the existing capital.
We should see revenues continue to grow via acquisition and with revenues comes earnings. As earnings increase, the market cap should increase commensurate with the P/E multiplier; its how the stock has made major gains in PPS and will continue to do so.
Lets say this new company boosts revenues and earnings by 20% conservatively; if the market continues to award the same multiplier, the price per share should rise by 20%. However, given the growth trajectory of this company, I also expect the market to award a higher multiplier (in essence pricing in future expectations for growth) and therefore I expect the share price to go even higher. Assuming the financing on this deal was as favorable for the company (and shareholders) as the ROB deal, I expect the price to jump on concrete numbers showing gains in revenues and sales.
Very bullish on this stock and continuing to hold and add to position.
Quiet on the board of late. Stock price holding steady with good volumes - some day dips on the chart from limited volumes/weird b/a spreads. My guess is that most are holding... just needs a little more oomph to push it over a dollar.
Although I'm sure some people will be selling at that psychological point. But not everyone; holding is the name of the game while we continue to watch revenues increase after the ROB acquisition
I have this feeling too, I am not sure why I feel that way, but posting several new highs in PPS in the last week and momentum seems to be upwards; perhaps 52 week highs attracting some interest?
I have to agree. I can't fathom what is spurring the price uptick in the last few days (although i still believe this is undervalued) but possibly there is something brewing behind the scenes?
yeah, moving slowly but surely in the right direction
I wonder as well; or if something else peripherally effecting the stock is in play. either way i will be watching this one closely for the next few days. The stock is primed; if the volume comes i expect a breakout
was discussing with a friend who was physcially at the conference this week; he was not in ONCS but said that the whole place was buzzing about the word "immunotherapy". we own some coveted real estate in the area and buyout is so possible i can taste it
now matching 52 week high of .44...
i keep wondering what will snag the attention of volume and bring the market to this stock; when it does i expect a substantial move in pps. either way im holding long but it always feels nice when the pps moves closer to what you think its worth!
